Founder of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Nigel Gaisie, has reacted to the passing of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, claiming the development affirms a prophecy he first delivered in 2022.
According to the prophet, he had in 2022 prophesied that danger looms over Nigeria’s Aso Rock; the official residence of the Nigerian President, and called for prayers for the West African nation.
In a follow-up Facebook post on July 9, 2025, he reiterated the warning and once again urged his followers to pray for Nigeria, suggesting that there would be “cries in Aso Rock or in the household of anyone connected there.”
Four days later, on July 13, the government of Nigeria officially announced the death of Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away while receiving medical care in London.
While he did not directly state that Buhari was the individual referenced in his vision, Prophet Gaisie indicated that the tragic event was in alignment with what had been spiritually revealed to him years ago.
Following the news, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has shared a reflective message, stating, that “when God speaks, wise men listen.”
The incident, he noted, should serve as a reminder of the importance of listening to prophetic warnings.
