Globen School has officially launched its 30th Anniversary celebrations, with the main event scheduled for March 13, 2026.
As part of the launch, the school unveiled a newly established robotics laboratory designed to advance students’ technological skills.
Speaking at the event, the robotics instructor reflected on an award-winning competition that originated in China, encouraging parents to actively support and register their children for the program, which aims to bridge the gap between technologically advanced countries and African nations.
During the ceremony, Headmaster Samuel Delali Yeboah emphasized that studying robotics encourages students to think logically and creatively beyond the confines of the standard academic curriculum.
He highlighted how the program nurtures critical problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
“Some of the benefits are that it exposes the child to new things, develops critical thinking, provides international exposure, and equips the child with problem-solving skills,” he said.
The program also featured an exhibition where students proudly displayed their talents in arts and crafts, showcasing a diverse array of intricate designs and handmade creations that demonstrated their creativity and skill development.
The school’s Director, Mrs. Gloria Obeng, noted that the new robotics laboratory has significantly enhanced students’ critical thinking skills.
She also expressed gratitude to STANBIC Bank for their sponsorship and made an appeal for further support from Ghanaians for the upcoming competition in China.
