Krachi West hosts inaugural Teachers’ Awards Ceremony

In a significant celebration of educational excellence, the Krachi West Municipality in the Oti Region has held its first-ever Teachers’ Awards Ceremony to honour the dedication and hard work of local educators.

The event, which took place at the Krachi Senior High School Assembly Hall, brought together teachers, community leaders, and key stakeholders to recognise the invaluable contributions educators make in shaping the future of the youth.

Delivering the keynote address, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Prosper Addo emphasized the vital role teachers play in national development.

“Teachers are the backbone of our educational system. Their commitment and passion for nurturing young minds deserve our utmost respect and recognition,” he said.

MCE Addo also called on the community to continue supporting educators, stressing that investing in teachers is an investment in the nation’s future.

Several outstanding teachers were honoured during the ceremony for their exceptional contributions to education in the municipality.

One of the awardees, moved by the recognition, stated, “This award is not just for me; it represents the collective effort of all teachers who strive daily to make a difference in the lives of our students.”

The ceremony also featured performances by students, showcasing their talents and reflecting the positive impact of dedicated teaching.
