World Vision’s Kete-Krachi Cluster has donated a range of essential items to support the maiden Teachers’ Awards in Krachi West, located in the Oti Region.
The donation package includes seven 32-inch Nasco televisions, refrigerators, gas cylinders, standing fans, and a solar system with FM/MP3 functionality.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Cluster Manager August Nyaaba emphasized the importance of acknowledging the hard work of teachers.
“They are the backbone of any society,” he said, adding that the initiative aims to motivate educators and recognize their contributions to community development.
Municipal Chief Executive, Prosper Addo, praised the gesture and called for more community involvement in supporting education.
He described World Vision’s donation as a timely reminder of the need for collective efforts to uplift the sector.
As preparations for the awards ceremony continue, residents of Krachi West have expressed appreciation for the support, noting that it will go a long way in honoring teachers who shape the future of the region.
