Renowned sports broadcaster and executive producer of Asempa FM’s leading sports programme, the Ultimate Sports Morning Show, Mavis Amanor Avornyo — popularly known as Fire Lady — marked her birthday in a truly impactful way by giving back to the community.
As part of her celebration, Fire Lady, through her VISMA Foundation, made a generous donation to Ashaiman Future Leaders FC, a youth football club nurturing talent in one of Ghana’s vibrant urban communities.
The donation was made even more remarkable thanks to the support of several key sponsors who believed in her vision and mission.
Legendary actress Auntie B, former Kotoko and Hearts of Oak player Edward Affum, and members of the VISMA Foundation were present to support Fire Lady at the brief ceremony.

Jamaa detergent is produced by African Consumer Products Ghana Ltd. (a subsidiary of Wilmar Africa Ltd.). They provided food items and hygiene products, ensuring the young footballers not only felt appreciated but also supported in their health and nutrition.
Twellium Industries, the powerhouse behind popular products like Verna Mineral Water, Bigoo drinks, and a wide variety of beverages, also lent their full support to the cause.
