Swedru All Blacks secure Premier League return after 16-year absence

Swedru All Blacks have earned promotion to the Ghana Premier League, marking their return to top-flight football after 16 years in the Division One League.

The historic comeback was sealed on Sunday with a commanding 3-0 victory over Ebusua Dwarfs. Striker Ebenezer Amoh netted a brace, while Bubakari Zayat added a third to secure the win and cap off a successful campaign.

All Blacks finish the season as Division One champions with an impressive 66 points from 29 matches, finishing seven points ahead of second-placed Rospack FC. Their dominant season featured 21 wins, three draws, and only five losses.

With this achievement, the Swedru-based club joins Zone One champions Hohoe United as confirmed newcomers to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.

The final promotion spot will be decided through a playoff between Real Tamale United and Techiman Eleven Wonders.
