Six people sustained injuries, with one in critical condition, following a road crash at Odumasi along the three-lane stretch in the Asante Akyem Central Municipality.
The accident occurred when a Chevrolet Spark taxi, with registration number GE 9167-23, attempted to overtake and collided with two trucks: a MAN diesel truck with registration number GR 5774 and a flatbed truck with registration number GW 5462-24.
According to eyewitnesses, the Chevrolet Spark was travelling from Konongo to Nobewam, while the flatbed truck was heading in the opposite direction from Kumasi to Konongo.
The individual in critical condition was rushed to the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.
The remaining five, who sustained minor injuries, were treated and discharged from Hope Care Specialist Hospital at Ohene Nkwanta.
