The Ministry of Sports and Recreation has settled the outstanding per diems owed to the Black Princesses ahead of their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Tunisia.

The Ghana U-20 women’s team had not received their allowances from last year’s camping, including the double-header against the North African side.

Despite the issue, the Black Princesses recorded a convincing 4-1 aggregate victory over Tunisia to advance to the next round, where they will face South Africa.

With the next qualifier scheduled for three weeks’ time, the timely payment is expected to allow the team to focus fully on preparations as they push for a place at the World Cup.
