Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has issued a warning to the Black Stars ahead of their 2026 World Cup clash with Croatia.

Ghana will face the 2018 World Cup finalists in Group L next year, alongside England and Panama.

“Everybody knows how dangerous Croatia have been in the previous World Cup. They have had different strategies,” Adams told Sporty FM.

“It doesn’t necessarily mean we should go and read their previous strategies as part of our preparation. They are a team that can change their style about three times within 90 minutes of play,” he added.

The Black Stars will kick off their World Cup campaign against Panama on June 17 in Toronto, followed by a match against England on June 23 in Boston. Their group stage will conclude with the high-stakes encounter against Croatia in Philadelphia on June 27.

Ghana, making their fifth World Cup appearance, are determined to advance beyond the group stage after consecutive early exits in Brazil 2014 and Qatar 2022.
