The Black Princesses have left Accra for Johannesburg as they prepare for the second leg of their 2026 U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier.

Coach Charles Simpson led a 20-member squad, comprising players and technical staff, on Tuesday for the crucial encounter against South Africa.

Ghana will aim to overturn the 2-2 draw from last weekend’s first-leg match at the Accra Sports Stadium, where the South Africans twice came from behind to level the score.

The decisive return leg is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, South Africa.
A win would see Ghana secure an eighth consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland this September and set up a clash with either Zambia or Uganda in the next qualifying round.
