2025 Carnival Season: Mas Africa Band empowers nothing late band to shine across the UK

The Mas Africa Band is set to infuse the UK with carnival magic this summer, spotlighting the electrifying Nothing Late Band (NLB) across a series of vibrant celebrations in Ramsgate, Hartlepool, Margate, and Notting Hill.

These events will burst with culture, music, and community spirit, attracting crowds from across the nation.

The season kicks off on 27th July at the Ramsgate Carnival, held at Government Acre, Westcliff Promenade, where the Nothing Late Band will dazzle with dynamic brass performances, setting a joyful tone for the summer.

From 1st to 10th August, Hartlepool Headland Carnival at TS24 ONX Moor Parade will host daily NLB performances from 2 pm to 10 pm. With free entry and over 100 rides and attractions provided by Murphy’s Funfair, the carnival promises fun for the whole family.

The grand parade on 10th August will see Nothing Late Band lead the festivities, marking the climax of a week of music, dance, and community celebration.

On 3rd August, Margate Carnival at the Palm Bay–Westbrook venue will come alive with NLB’s lively rhythms. Attendees will enjoy vibrant parades, elaborate costumes, and an energetic cultural showcase. The event is supported by Kent County Council, Arts Council England, SEFK Social Enterprise Kent, and Fresh Electrical Solar, highlighting the region’s commitment to celebrating African heritage and community arts.

The season’s highlight arrives on 24th and 25th August at the iconic Notting Hill Carnival, where Nothing Late Band will take centre stage in the massive street parade. Known for blending traditional African beats with contemporary flair, their performances are expected to light up London’s cultural calendar with colourful costumes and infectious energy.

Backed by local councils and cultural organisations, these carnivals celebrate the diversity, talent, and creativity of the Nothing Late Band. With free entry at Hartlepool and a host of family-friendly activities, attendees are warmly invited to join the festivities and immerse themselves in a rich celebration of African and Caribbean culture.
