The Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) in charge of Management Services, Prof. Smile Gavua Dzisi, has cautioned candidates of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) against examination malpractice.

Prof. Dzisi emphasised that the GES will not tolerate any form of malpractice and will not spare offenders. She urged candidates to rely solely on their knowledge and preparation, trust in their abilities, and leave the outcome to a higher power.

After inspecting various examination centres in Accra, Prof. Dzisi expressed satisfaction with the conduct of students, teachers, and invigilators, noting that adequate resources have been provided to ensure a smooth and credible examination.

“We don’t want to tolerate any examination malpractice this year,” she stressed, adding that the GES is committed to maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
