Medeama SC continued their perfect start with a commanding 4-0 win over Vision FC at the TNA Park.
Kamaradini Mamudu opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Abdul Salam doubled the lead in the 31st to put the defending champions 2-0 up at halftime.
The Yellow and Mauve outfit remained dominant after the break, with Emmanuel Owusu and Ibrahim Nurudeen striking in the 82nd and 84th minutes to complete the rout.
At the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Eleven Wonders endured a tough afternoon, falling 4-1 to Heart of Lions.
Paul Attah Agyei netted twice in quick succession in the 24th and 25th minutes, giving Lions a strong cushion by the break.
Though Kwadwo Asamoah pulled one back for Wonders in the 71st minute, goals from Ishmael Addo (81’) and Kojo Kuma (90+5’) sealed a resounding win for Bashir Hayford’s men.
Swedru All Blacks made a statement with a 3-0 triumph over Berekum Chelsea at the Swedru Stadium.
Zayat Abubakari converted a 27th-minute penalty before Rudolf Mensah struck eight minutes later to make it 2-0 at halftime. Hafiz Alhassan wrapped up the victory in the 90th minute.
At the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem United and Basake Holy Stars played out a goalless draw, while at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, FC Samartex rescued a point against Karela United.
Zaidan Mohammed’s 24th-minute strike put the visitors ahead, but Samuel Tetteh equalised late to settle the match at 1-1.
In Dormaa, Aduana FC claimed a narrow 1-0 win over Nations FC thanks to Hensen Anponsa’s 86th-minute effort at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Meanwhile, Hohoe United and Young Apostles shared the spoils at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.
Ganiu Abass opened the scoring for the hosts in the 47th minute, but Clinton Opoku levelled things in the 74th minute to ensure both sides left with a point.
The round wraps up on Monday as Dreams FC host Hearts of Oak at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, with kickoff set for 15:00 GMT.
Elsewhere, Asante Kotoko and Bibiani GoldStars sat out this weekend’s action due to their involvement in CAF inter-club competitions.
