23 passengers have sustained various degrees of injuries after a serious accident involving a Sprinter Bus with number GR 1126-16 at Gomoa Buduata junction on the Kasoa Winneba Highway
In an interview with Adom News, eyewitnesses said the driver of the Sprinter bus lost control when back tyre burst leading to the accident.

“The driver forcibly stepped on the brake to stop but it rather somersaulted. We heard the people screaming for help and went to their rescue. We have managed to get them out of the car but they are seriously injured and had been rushed to the hospital” a resident told Adom news.
Meanwhile, the Dominase District Police Commander DSP Paul Annkan who confirmed the accident to Adom news stated that, all the passengers are currently receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.

DSP Annkan urged drivers to slow down when driving to enable them control their brakes in the face of such events.
