Nigerian politician, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has been confirmed dead after being infected with Coronavirus.

The former Oyo State governor reportedly died at 70 of COVID-19 complication.

In a video that has popped up online, he is heard telling his fellow politicians that he has asked God to kill him when he is 70.

The immediate past Oyo State’s governor was reportedly on life support since Friday but he, unfortunately, died today, Thursday 25th June at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos.
