After a disappointing start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign, Dreams FC finally registered their first victory of the season with a 2-0 win over Nations FC at the Tuba Astro Turf on Matchday 6.
Ernest Appiah opened the scoring for the “Still Believe” side in the 7th minute, giving the home fans something to cheer about before halftime.
After the break, Dreams maintained their momentum and doubled their advantage in the 54th minute through Seidu Suraj, sealing a much-needed win.
The result lifts Dreams FC to 13th place on the league table with four points, while Nations FC drop to 12th with five points.
Elsewhere at the TNA Park, Medeama SC were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Samartex.
The visitors took the lead in the 39th minute courtesy of Dramani Awuah and looked set to claim all three points until Kingsley Braye struck a late equaliser in the dying moments of the game to rescue a point for the home side.
Despite the draw, Medeama remain top of the Premier League table with 13 points, while Samartex occupy fourth place with 10 points.
The remaining Matchday 6 fixtures are scheduled to continue on Sunday, October 19, and Monday, October 20.
