A church in Allerton gives out bibles and laptops to high school graduates every year.

The Ghana Methodist Church gave 19 high school graduates from Bronx a bible and a laptop Sunday morning to take with them as they continue their education as college freshmen in the fall.

The church believes the Bible will lead the students when they’re exposed to new philosophies and ideas in college.

The laptop, the church recognizes, will help the students with the computer literacy skills needed to get ahead professionally.

Some of the students also became official members of the church.
