The Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona East, Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr has donated dual desks to selected schools in her constituency.
The donation was in fulfillment of a promise made to the schools where she visited the schools during school hours a month ago.
The promise was made when the MP saw about five students sharing a desk in these schools during a visit.

The distribution of the dual desks started at Agona Akwakwaa AEDA school where she donated 100 out of the 500 promised.
The other four schools will receive their desks after branch elections.
The MP after the presentation met with the party supporters who turned up in their numbers to show love.
She also visited party faithful at Obratwawu, Mankrong, Mankrong Junction, Nsuekyir and Domoki to educate members on the upcoming branch elections.
She urged them to vote for dedicated and committed members who are ready to offer selfless service to the NDC party.
