Ghanaian professional footballer, Asamoah Gyan is disappointed in the assault of Patience Osafo by a police officer.

Godzi Frederick Amanor popularly referred to as Skalla was captured in a video that went viral, Friday beating up Patience Osafo who was carrying a baby.

Patience had gone to Midland Savings and Loans, Shiashie branch to withdraw her savings totaling Gh₵270; after four days of no success.

Tired of being tossed around, she decided to launch a protest and insisted on not leaving the banking hall until her money was paid.

According to reports, the institution ordered the police officer to send the woman out; leading to the assault.

Reacting to this on Instagram, Asamoah Gyan wrote:

“Come on. This is below the belt. I’m very disappointed in this policeman”

Its very unfortunate to see what we are watching at the moment.How can such a bad event happen to this poor woman from someone who is there to protect her.Its ghana where the word TRUTH IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND.When I listen to the woman on UTV my immediate decision was the policeman has to sacked and also compassate this poor woman.Hope IGP will tolerate this nonses.
