The Homecoming, held at the Infinity Stars Hotel at Penyi, marked Togbe Afrika’s return to music after more than two decades.

Mr Gunu’s support was warmly appreciated by Togbe Afrika, who commended the Regional Minister for his leadership and commitment to initiatives that bring people together while creating opportunities for young people.

Togbe Afrika said the initiative goes beyond entertainment, noting that it seeks to use music to inspire young people to shun drug abuse and pursue education, entrepreneurship and other positive opportunities.

“I sincerely appreciate the Hon. Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, for his support and for believing in this vision. This is not only about Togbe Afrika; it is about our youth, our music, our culture and our Volta Region,” he said.

He expressed gratitude to the Regional Minister for believing in the vision and supporting efforts aimed at promoting the talents, culture and development potential of the region.

Togbe Afrika subsequently called on other leaders, businesses and development partners to support initiatives that create opportunities for young people and contribute to the growth and development of the Volta Region.
