Van Vicker was supposed to play the lead role as a British colonial master, the same role Nigerian actor Ramsey Noah eventually took up.

Van Vicker explained that when LilWin approached him for the role, he was told that his presence on set would be required for an entire month.

As a student at the time, committing to such a lengthy period was not feasible for him.

He stated that he proposed to have all his scenes condensed into ten days, explaining that the more days he was needed, the higher his fees would be, and he doubted the production could afford it.

“I said one month is too much What are we filming? You should know that with actors, the more days you require, the more fees I will charge so the earlier you finish the better. So you need me for one month; are you sure you can pay me for one full month? So I told him for one month I can’t do the work because I’m in school”.

LilWin, however, rejected the ten-day proposal, stating it would not work for the production’s schedule.

Van Vicker said he was left perplexed when he later discovered that Ramsey Noah was brought in from Nigeria and completed the job in just ten days, the same timeframe he had initially suggested.

“I was left wondering because if he declined my ten-day proposal, how did he agree to Ramsey’s ten days and even covered all those extra fees?” Van Vicker remarked.

Meanwhile, LilWin, in a previous interview, had suggested that he found Van Vicker difficult to work with due to the many restrictions he imposed, which led him to seek another actor for the role.

“The movie was to be shot in 21 days, but the lead actor’s scene was just for 10 days. Even after negotiation, the Ghanaian actor said he cannot work on weekends so he will be on set for just 8 days. Initially, I thought he wanted to make more monetary demands so I was ready, but he started becoming difficult to work with due to his many restrictions.”

The actor took to his social media platforms to share the heartwarming news, reflecting on their extraordinary journey as a couple.

Van Vicker’s touching message not only conveyed his deep love for his wife but also revealed the enduring nature of their relationship.

He said it is one of the surest ways for married couples to have a long-lasting marriage.

Van Vicker, who has been in the acting business since 2000, explained that even though open, effective communication in marriage is good, being open about one’s finances is a more effective tool.

“For me, one of the most significant aspects is not dividing your income and expenses. I believe that being open about your earnings, the sources of income, and your finances is fundamental for maintaining a strong bond. Make expenditures together, create budgets together, and pool your resources,” he advised couples via social media.

Van Vicker’s piece of advice has been met with mixed reactions.

The actor, who graduated with a First Class Honors from the African University College of Communications for his first degree, is also currently an Mphil student of UEW.

A post made by the actor also suggested that he is also at level 200 at Wisconsin University College.

In a chat with Blogger Attractive Mustapha the actor confirmed his social media posts and added that he believes he is big on education except that he did not have the opportunity back then.

“I believe knowledge and work experience in a specific field can make one extremely competitive. I wish to be a lawyer, and there is no other way to law school than to get an LLB, hence the decision.”

He continued that “picture how compelling a lawyer with massive communication skills background would be? A prodigious reputation if you asked me.”

Van, however, revealed he wanted to keep the news hidden until he graduated from school.

The celebrities had visited Togo for an entertainment programme they had been billed for.

Before Patapaa’s performance, he had the opportunity of interacting with Van and Prince before posing for a photograph.

Ji-an, who is the second of Van’s three children, turned 16 today, May 25.

Mr Vicker says he is well, alive and has not been involved in an accident.

He took to his Instagram page to clear the air as he shares a video of the purported death.

The video was a slideshow of Mr Vicker’s photos including a saloon car whose bumper had been run over and mangled beyond repairs.

The video had a sorrowful tune that appeared more like a dirge playing in the background with the inscription “we will miss your smile” on it.

“I would habitually overlook yet another ‘death video’ of me made by insensitive people; however, this particular one is making sensational circulation hence my post.

“I am well by HIS GRACE. I have not been involved in any accident, and neither am I dead. Perish the thought,” he wrote.

The actor indicated he would have overlooked the death video but due to the fear and panic it has created, he decided to speak about it.

He said anybody who chances on the video is likely to be traumatised, adding social media is an excellent tool and must be used wisely.

He added: “There has to be a way to disallow such lunacies, faux news, sensationalism and or impassivity via social media.

“Millions of people around the globe experience some form of trauma whilst watching these videos.

“Social media is such an excellent tool but yet…”

Many fans and followers who have sighted the post have condemned the content creator amid prayers of protection over his life.

Though it is not clear who is behind these videos, it comes a few days after a similar one was circulated about actor and politician John Dumelo.

The movie depicts a beautiful love story, and the actors brought their A-game on set for the bedroom shoot.

The actress could be seen in a conversation with Van, before proceeding to kiss him, after which they both collapsed on the bed.

Some 21 years after he completed high school, Van Vicker has bagged his first Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.

Not only did he graduate with a first class honours, the refined actor etched his position as the Best Communication Student from his batch, as well as the Best Student in Strategic Communications.

On why it took him so long to enter the university, Van Vicker painfully recounted how he could not enroll in 1997 because his single mother did not have the funds.

He said had free Senior High School existed back in his days he would have been part of the 2000/2001 year group.

With B/A in the bag, Van Vicker is hopeful of completing his Masters program this December, and he is motivated and committed to go even beyond.

On Wednesday morning, Funny Face called out the Ghana Police Service for what in his opinion was abuse of power with video evidence to back his claims.

Mr Vicker, after assessing the video, has asked eight key questions that could bring the entire brouhaha to an end.

Following how the officers dragged and hit Funny Face, the actor is asking the eight questions to bring clarity.

As I watched this video of @therealfunnyface being manhandled by the Ghana Police Service @ghpoliceservice the first thing that came to mind was, WHAT LAW HAS HE BROKEN / WHAT HAS HE DONE WRONG? Currently, I still don’t have an answer; on the search.

I am not privy to any info outside these visuals, hence my concerns as per THIS VIDEO:

1. Was he being arrested?
2. Was he being taken in for questioning?
3. Was the police being ‘vindictive’?
4. Was he resisting to be taken away?
5. Was he pleading to lock up his vehicle and then can be taken?
6. Did the officer HAVE TO hit him with the riffle butt?
7. Seems there was some misunderstanding, what could it be?
8. Etc.

I am NOT holding brief for @therealfunnyface nor am I concluding police brutality, however as per this video, in my opinion, the police COULD HAVE BEEN a little MORE CIVIL.

Just like ALL OF US, NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW, so if one breeches the law one shall face the full rigor of the consequences thereof, however, we are humans and even as enforcers of the law there is always a latitude to apply discretion depending on the gravity of the situation.

So Let’s DO THE RIGHT THING – ALWAYS.

The filmmaker, in a latest post, revealed he had interest in gynecology, but settled on acting due to financial constraints.

He made the revelation when making a case for the New Patriotic Party’s Free Senior High School (SHS) and tertiary policy.

According to him, if such a policy had existed back in 1996, he would have enrolled in the university to materialise his dream of being a seasoned gynecologist.

He elaborated his SHS education expenses depleted his mother’s savings, for which he had to settle for a less costly profession.

But, he believes such a burden on parents is over per the government’s full school fees absorption programme.

Actor Majid Michel has also once said that prior to acting, the profession he fancied was gynecology.

The Member of Parliament for Anyaa-Sowutuom advised Ghanaians to vote for her New Patriotic Party member at the expense of Mr Dumelo because “parliament is a serious business and not for actors.”

Her comments have sparked some fury in Mr Van Vicker, who challenged the Minister’s understanding of politics and entertainment.

He said actors are very serious-minded people both in front and beyond the cameras.

“I feel very unhappy hearing it because actors are very serious people… If we have to go in the studio and sing a song or go and act in front of the camera, does that make us any less serious? Does that by extension make us uneducated people?” he quizzed.

The seasoned actor added irrespective of one’s profession, common sense is a requirement of which Mr Dumelo fulfills.

The actor, in an interview at the Kpoo Keke Celebrity games, disclosed that his young boy hopes to play for Spanish side Barcelona and the Black Stars of Ghana.

“Oh I play football just that I don’t have time to play it but the main reason I played today is because I want to inspire my son. He wants to be a professional footballer. Rawlings initially came to power as a flight lieutenant of the Ghana Air Force following a coup d’état in 1979. After he had initially handed power over to the civilian government of the late Hilla Limann, he took back control of the country on 31 December, 1981 as the chairman of the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC).

In 1992, Rawlings resigned from the Armed Forces, founded the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and became the first president of the Fourth Republic.

He was re-elected in 1996 for an additional four years. He is married to Nana Konadu Agyeman and has three daughters – Zanetor, Yaa Asantewaa, Amina – and a son, Kimathi.

Rawlings was the Special Guest at the premier of ‘Damaged Goods’.

The actor, in a post on Instagram Tuesday, complained about a damaged tail light of a police pickup and wondered what would have happened if a private or commercial vehicle had such broken tail-lights.
