Teni the entertainer, as she is fondly called, penetrated the limelight as a stout, tomboyish personality whose signature look was oversized outfits.

However, after few months of going on a hiatus, she has returned, looking beautiful as ever.

Some photos she shared on her Instagram page captured her looking slender and sleek, with a touch of tomboy look.

In the new photo, the ‘Power Rangers’ crooner is seen rocking white tees, paired with red leather pants and neon boots.

Teni’s fans have taken over her comment section with messages intended to flatter the artiste.

The musician made the gesture as her way of appreciating her teacher on World Teachers Day celebrated every October 5.

Sharing photos and videos of the occasion on social media, one teacher wrote: “Mr Ofudje taught Teni, he was her best teacher back then and she came back to appreciate him. We celebrate you, sir. Congratulations Mr. Ofudje, well deserved.”

Teni, prior to giving her teacher the car, said, “I just wanted to appreciate your diligence, integrity and how hard you work so I decided to buy you a car.”

The teachers and students in the school were seen jumping with joy and rushing in to hug a shocked Mr. Ofudje.

Teni led him outside the hall where the white car was parked just by the entrance and handed him the key.

Mr. Ofudje, who was seemingly grateful to Teni for her benevolence, hugged her as his colleagues step out to check out the car.

The singer, who had not hitherto announced any marriage plans, splashed photos and videos of herself preparing for the event.

She shared with her fans videos from the prepping session to the very minute she said her final prayers, in the company of some unseen persons.

Teni dropped her tomboy look and settled for a flowery white ball gown.

She was radiating as the makeup did justice to her round face.

Some netizens cannot fathom how their superstar could keep such a big secret, causing them to reach the conclusion the entire wedding set-up is to create buzz for her upcoming music videos of her Love I Love song.

Many believe the set-up and look are too plush to be unreal.

In a song yet to be released, Teni spoke the local Twi language she was taught by artistes R2Bees, who recruited her on their project.

Teni, in a video the artistes posted, was seen rehearsing the lines ‘Me di ma ko ma yi be ma wo’, to wit, I give my heart to you.

Mugeez of R2Bees tutored on her on the right pronunciation and tonation of the words, as Teni manages to get it all right.

The studio session seemed to be a fun one as other team members could be seen jamming to the unreleased record.

Teni joins the list of Nigerian artistes to speak Ghanaian language in a Naija-Ghana song.

Davido also spoke Ga in his high-rated song with Darko Vibes.

Fans were particularly concerned for her wellbeing when it was reported that men clad in all black disrupted her performance and ordered her to exit with them.

In videos shared, gunshots were heard in the background with patrons fleeing for their lives.

Finally finding her voice, Teni clarified that indeed there was chaos and stampede but it was caused by a fight backstage and not a kidnap attempt.

She said the incident happened so fast that all she could see were bottles flying through alongside gunshots.

Teni was however protected by her bodyguards.

She updated that she, together with all members of her team, is fine and back home.

“Could have been a different story but I’m grateful to God,” she wrote along with posts of gratitude to all who checked up on her.

Regarded as one of the best female acts in the industry, Teni was billed to entertain patrons on New Year’s Day, but things took a wrong turn.

The young man, as a matter of urgency, did as he was told, after which he knelt on stage to offer thanks.

The Teni fan becomes the second to be publicly appreciated. African Giant Burna Boy set the pace when he gifted his lucky fan his $2,000 Louis Vuitton belt for singing his song word-for-word.
