In an interview with BBC News Pidgin, the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola said that although there were many reasons she fell in love with the “Patek” hitmaker, their deep friendship stood out above all.

“There are too many reasons. How would I choose one? Wow. First and foremost, he’s my best friend. That’s my person. And I think when you meet your person, you just know. I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anybody else,” Temi said.

She added that she looks forward to sharing every part of her life with him, from celebrations to challenges.

“He’s the person I’m excited to spend every day with, to build our lives together, to work through ups and downs, celebrate together, and solve problems together. He’s simply my person. We’re just excited for what’s to come,” she added.

Temi also explained why she and Mr. Eazi kept their relationship, engagement, and marriage private until they were ready to share it publicly, saying it was more about “owning their narrative” than secrecy.

“It’s not necessarily about privacy. For me, it’s more about owning your own narrative. Moving in silence allows you to have a certain level of control over things. It lets you build the story you want and share it on your own terms,” she noted.

According to her, seven embroidery specialists, three couturiers, and five handworkers collectively invested 4,590 hours in designing and completing the gown and its accompanying cape.

Adding to the uniqueness of the look, she disclosed that a Korean artisan spent 67 hours handcrafting a bespoke fan to complement the outfit.

“My vision for my reception look was to match the opulence and richness of the tent, and @miss_sohee overdelivered! …Thank you for weaving a piece of your rich culture into our rich culture,” Temi wrote.

The couple’s love story has captured wide public attention. They first exchanged vows in a civil wedding on May 9 in Monaco, followed by a traditional ceremony in Dubai on July 5, and later sealed their union with a white wedding in Iceland.

Their nuptials, recently featured in Vogue Magazine, highlighted their journey and shared exclusive photographs.

After the weddings, Temi updated her social media profile to reflect her new name, officially adopting her husband’s surname, Ajibade.

Temi’s outfits were a highlight, especially her traditional reception attire, which she revealed was the result of extraordinary craftsmanship.

However, Temi Otedola’s birthday message seems to suggest otherwise.

The daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola took to Instagram to share a touching note for Mr Eazi, directly addressing him as her soon to be husband.

In her Instagram post, Temi shared a charming photo of Mr Eazi and wrote:

“Celebrating you today + everyday!!! Happy birthday to my forever person. My favourite person. My sooooon to be oko. (husband)”

This caption has led many to believe that the couple has not yet tied the knot, contradicting earlier rumors of a secret wedding.

To commemorate the new milestone, Mr Otedola’s wife and children including Mr Eazi celebrated with him on the superyacht, Christina O.

One of his daughters, Florence Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy in showbiz took to social media to share a video from the celebration.

Owned by his role model Onassis, DJ cuppy indicated it has always been her father’s dream to visit it and actualise this dream on his 60th birthday.

This is the first time the Afrobeat singer has featured his soon to be Mrs and billionaire heiress in a music video.

This is coming after Temi revealed in an interview on Beat FM, that the sense of peace that fills her when she is with the ‘Leg Over’ hitmaker made it certain he was the one for her.

The family time ended with Florence (DJ Cuppy), Femi and Tolani being owners of customised Ferrari Portofino.
