He said the family will make sure that Ebony’s impact endures for generations to come.

Mr. Kwarteng maintained that, even after he is gone, his daughters will diligently continue the work he started, ensuring that Ebony’s memory and contributions remain alive indefinitely.

“It’s my pleasure. When I’m gone, my daughters will take it from there because that is the deal. One day I will be gone. They need to do what I am doing now till thy kingdom come. Nana Hemaa deserves that,” Starboy Kwarteng said, underscoring his daughters’ role in perpetuating Ebony’s legacy.

Her father, Starboy Kwarteng said the late Ebony’s properties are still in his possession, untouched and preserved.

In an interview on Adom FM‘s Entertainment Hall, he said he finds solace by meditating with her pictures and clothes.

This emotional attachment, Mr. Kwarteng noted is one of the reasons why he is keeping Ebony’s belongings as a tribute to her legacy.

Traditionally, properties of a deceased are shared a year after death but Starboy Kwarteng opined that, Ebony died too young to have her items distributed.

He explained that, her siblings are all well-accomplished individuals who do not require any of her personal items, hence they have not even made demands for any.

Starboy Kwarteng said as a family, they understand the impact her death has on them, and sharing her belongings is the least on their minds.

Assured of Ebony’s presence, Mr Kwarteng expressed confidence that she would intervene to ensure he is financial sound.

“The day I go broke, she will come to my rescue. For now, I am not. Nana Hemaa (Ebony) can’t let me be in need like that… she will never accept that because I am okay with her, and she is a spirit and has the means,” he affirmed.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall on Saturday February 10, Starboy Kwarteng expressed his conviction that Ebony’s spirit remains active and watches over him after her tragic passing in a fatal car accident on February 8, 2018.

He shared that, he feels her presence strongly, especially in moments of spiritual connection, where she communicates with him in a trance.

“Ebony Reigns still talks to me; she lives on. I don’t dream about her, but when we talk spiritually, it’s more or less like a trance. She speaks in my ears. She whispered in my ear,” Starboy Kwarteng revealed, highlighting the ongoing bond he shares with his daughter beyond the physical realm.

“I have all her properties with me. I even have her sponge, and that is what I use to bathe,” Starboy Kwarteng revealed in an interview on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall.

Starboy Kwarteng shared that, he has kept all of Ebony’s belongings intact since her passing, including her clothes and personal items.

He emphasized that he feels no need to part with her possessions, as they hold sentimental value and serve as a connection to her memory.

Addressing any potential concerns about the perceived spiritual implications of using her belongings, he firmly stated, “It is not haunted. Why should I be afraid?”

Starboy Kwarteng explained that, using Ebony’s sponge allows him to feel her presence, providing solace and comfort in his daily life.

He clarified that, this practice is not rooted in superstition but rather serves as a personal coping mechanism to keep her memory alive.

“It is not spiritual or anything. When I use it, I feel her presence around me, and it is better that I do that,” Starboy Kwarteng emphasized, dispelling any misconceptions about his actions.

Ebony Reigns tragically lost her life in a fatal car accident on February 8, 2018, just eight days before her 21st birthday.

The untimely passing of Ebony Reigns, along with her assistant and longtime friend, Franklina Yaa Nkansah Kuri and soldier Atsu Vondee, deeply saddened the nation.

Starboy Kwarteng and Madam Beatrice Oppong Marthin are an item again and have renewed their marital vows after several years of separation.

Prior to their marriage ceremony which took place in the heart of deluxe Sunyani Tyco City hotel, the couple were in their own world with lovey-dovey public display of affection.

All eyes were on the couple when Madam Beatrice arrived looking enchanting in a green corseted gown embellished with golden lace and her dashing groom looking splendid in a grey stripped suit.

Borrowing words from singer Dada KD’s ‘Fathia Fata Nkrumah’ banger, the couple reaffirmed their love for each other and pledged to stick together till the end of time.

The aggrieved father alleged that the report has cemented his long-held assertion that there is an unnatural factor to his daughter’s demise.

In an interview on Kingdom FM, Mr Kwarteng revealed the driver behind the gory crash that killed his daughter and her two associates has finally been arrested.

He added that in the briefing he was given, the court declined to charge him for the deaths, as no evidence was found of his direct involvement in the deaths.

However, he was charged for reckless driving with an additional charge for not having a license at that time.

Mr Kwarteng further stated that the report said “the driver made no mistake, he was just lucky to survive the ordeal”.

This, he said contradicts earlier investigations where he was informed there was no foul play in the accident.

“They had the guts to inform me the driver has been arrested but I am not privy to any other information on her death. When they started the investigations, they said the driver made no mistake but now they are telling me he had no license; didn’t they check that to conclude. When an accident happens, first thing police check is if the driver is qualified to drive,” he fumed.

Though the police said everything seems natural, Mr Kwarteng is adamant Ebony’s death was well orchestrated, “based on investigations and what I was told”.

The aggrieved father dropped a bombshell when he alleged his daughter’s injuries were not consistent with wounds of an accident, especially as the car somersaulted multiple times.

“I believe Ohemaa was murdered before the accident because there was no blood on her outfit, I will always say this. She has serious deep cuts on her face and upper body yet there was no sign of blood,” he said.

To bring some closure on his daughter’s death, Mr Kwarteng is demanding final reports and findings from the necessary authorities.

He made this revelation in an interview on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall with host Mike 2, a few days after Ebony’s family visited her grave to pay homage four years after her demise.

According to him, the circumstances surrounding how ‘Nana Hemaa’ died don’t make sense, adding that, the driver who was in charge of the vehicle should be thoroughly investigated.

The investigations into Ebony’s death should have gone deeper. I want justice. I would love to see justice and I will like to know how this will end.

As to who murdered her, we are yet to find out. I see it to be that way and no one has told me she was murdered.

Maama Tiwaa told me we don’t have to take the driver to court. I laughed when she told me that in her office. There was another witness who wanted to talk. But he was allowed to move on without asking him anything. They had to ask vital questions… My doubts are still relevant.

Ebony Reigns, her friend- Franklin Kuri and military officer, said to be her bodyguard Atsu Vondee, died on the spot when their Jeep vehicle crashed into a bus on the Mankraso-Sunyani stretch of the main Kumasi-Sunyani road four years ago.

He made this revelation in an interview on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall with Mike 2 last Saturday.

“She was there. She came home and I could feel her. The television came on by itself and the channel that came on was talking about her life. I knew she was trying to send us a message so I called the others to come and see,” he said.

According to him, he still communicates with his daughter (even though he wouldn’t clearly disclose how he does it) – he claimed he hears her voice and they communicate verbally.

On the 8^th she came home. She wanted the people in the house to know she has arrived. Before we went to the cemetery, I was arranging a few things. I have two halls – one down and up.

I went up and the moment I got there, the TV came on by itself. So I made everyone aware of her presence. We couldn’t see her physically but I think she announced herself. The TV channel too proved she was the one who did that.

According to the father of the late dancehall musician, he strongly believes that “her death was orchestrated.”

Ebony Reigns was remembered by her family as they paid a glowing homage to her at her graveside at the Osu Cemetery last week.

This was in remembrance of her legacy as February 8, 2022, marks exactly four years since she was killed in an accident.

Speaking on the Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM, he revealed that he is ready for comeback revenge on behalf of her daughter’s death.

According to him, the revenge for her daughter will be a physical one where all those who knew something about the demise of Ebony will be duly punished.

“Keep your fingers crossed and let’s see what comes next from there, you will love it. It’s going to be disastrous. It is going to be physical and people will lose their ability to walk, you will see that physical, that is what I mean,” he said.

“Some people need to sit down idle, they cannot walk. You will love it, because the payback is to sit and you cannot walk, so this is it. If you want an idea, I have given you a clue, an idea as to how it will be like, mark my words,” he stressed.

Mr Kwarteng, who is popularly known as StarBoy Kwarteng, noted that the revenge will happen in no time therefore people should expect it.

“It’s going to happen pretty soon, it’s just around the corner, sooner than you can even think you can expect and you will interview me anytime soon on this same topic on my statement,” StarBoy told the host KMJ.

The Afrobeat artiste whose sudden demise occurred four years ago, died in a fatal car accident on February 8, 2018, after a visit to her family at Sunyani and was returning to Accra.

Mr Kwarteng believes that there is a mystery behind the sudden demise of his daughter.

In an interview with KMJ on Daybreak Hitz, Starboy Kwarteng said,he had a very strong bond with his daughter and that transcended after her death.

According to him, they communicate spiritually. He also said that he has seen her in his dreams twice.

“Nana Hemaa Ebony and I were so close, we had a bond and that gives me the opportunity to speak to her. I am a spiritualist. I have seen her in my dreams twice and she spoke to me. She questioned me on why I have folded my arms to watch what is going on. It’s a shame. Nana Hemaa wishes for us to find out how she died. I have always believed that there is much more to the queen’s death. I expected more. I think the driver should have been summoned to explain what really happened. I am still not convinced. I was told the driver’s license had expired three years before the accident. Nobody seemed to care about the driver who killed three (3) people and was driving around with an expired license. I was very disappointed.”

The 8th of February 2022, marks the fourth anniversary of the death of the posthumous, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year.

The popular dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, died in a gruesome road accident that occurred on the Sunyani-Kumasi road in 2018.

The 20-year-old singer and three other persons were on board a Jeep with registration AS 497-16, travelling from Sunyani to Kumasi when a head-on collision with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi occurred.

The driver of the vehicle escaped death, however, two other occupants — a military officer identified as Francis Atsu Vondee and lady identified only as Frankie — died later at the Bechem Government Hospital after they were rushed there.

Irrespective of the diverse sides they find themselves in the music industry, Brother Sammy was elated to meet the father of late Dancehall artiste Ebony.

They duo run into each other at a gathering and for the gospel act, it was a perfect time to introduce himself and make a lasting impression.

Without paying any attention to the ongoing service, Brother Sammy stuck out his phone to show his fans via video who he is rolling with.

His action distracted other guests as they fixed their eyes on his camera rather than observe the event.

Nana Opoku ‘Starboy’ Kwarteng stated in an interview on Wednesday, February 10 that much has not been heard of his Bony to the World record label because his signee is lazy.

He further said anytime he travels out of the country, Miss Maureen, who is living under his roof for work purposes, goes on ‘holiday’.

“We signed a five-year contract for her to release seven albums. When I was in Europe because of COVID, she did nothing; she is just lazy. For someone who had a child, she is an adult, but she does nothing, she is always late for production,” he said.

But, Miss Maureen, on the same platform, rebutted, stating that she wanted their production to be very fast but her boss shut her up and said he doesn’t want pressure.

Amid tears, she blurted out about how unfair her boss was to disgrace her in a live interview. She said aside the work listed in their contract; she washes, cooks sometimes and does other chores.

What broke her heart was that Mr Kwarteng mentioned her child, the first fruit she bore, who died shortly after his birth, insisting it was absolutely irrelevant to their discussion.

The artiste, who hitherto sold airtime to make ends meet, said her boss forced her to shun her own life with the excuse that it “doesn’t befit a celebrity.”

“I am crying because it is painful for me to go through this kind of thing. Anytime I ask for money, I get insults back in return. Sometimes when I ask for money, he tells me to get a boyfriend. He gave me GHS100 twice to buy thrift dress and even the dresses I wear for shows, I return them afterwards.”

However, she said her boss has never, not even once demanded for sexual relations.

But in a sharp rebuttal, Starboy Kwarteng and his wife joined the interview via phone call to rubbish all claims, swearing on their deceased daughter that they were telling the truth.

The couple expressed disappointment in her for failing to acknowledge their effort, including buying her petty things such as panties and earrings.

After the release of just two songs in a year and half, Starboy Kwarteng says he has washed his hands of her.

According to him, all efforts to meet the man landed on rocks after he pleaded with the police and investigators to let him have a word with him few days after the incident occurred.

Mr Kwarteng, also known as Starboy Kwarteng, said he wants the driver to give his own account on how the accident happened since he was the one in charge of the Jeep vehicle.

No I have not seen him yet. The only thing I could do was to go to the police to let me see him to tell me what happened. He is the only soul who experienced it so his account will be splendid.

I have been waiting… I have not heard his voice. I am told he lives at Nungua. I don’t need him. I will need him to explain to the world but not personal.

I have been looking for him to answer questions in public… this guy one day sometime somewhere [we will meet], he told Andy Dosty.

According to him, he found that surprising because there was a deep cut on her daughter’s head which appeared as though an axe was used on her.

He disclosed this in an interview on Accra-based Kingdom FM after two years of Ebony’s passing.

He said doctors told him the intense bleeding from the deep cut led to her death.

“The situation was quite surprising so I asked police officers at the police headquarters and they said it’s possible that Ebony’s hair could have soaked the blood,” he said.

The musician, born Priscilla Opoku Agyemang, passed on Saturday, February 8, 2018, through a motor accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.

Ebony died alongside her friend, Frank Kuri and her soldier bodyguard, Atsu Vondee.

The announcement made many ardent fans of Ebony angry because, for most of them, it was inappropriate for the manager of the deceased to so because it came too soon.

For others, it was not only about the timing but the forum Bullet chose for his announcement – the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Since then, there have been back and forth moments between Ebony’s father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng and Bullet over rights and music royalties of the fallen dancehall diva.

So intense was the misunderstanding that it manisted publicly, getting many Ghanaians to wade into the matter, with many people choosing sides in the matter of who really deserved to control Ebony’s posthumous legacy.

In the ensuing confusion, Wendy Shay became the proverbial grass that suffered as the two elephants fought.

Wendy suffered at the hands of Ebony fans who labelled her a copycat who couldn’t replace their queen.

Some even threatened to cut her life short for trying to perform mimic their heroine, Ebony Reigns.

Fast forward, two years after Ebony’s death, the Opoku Kwarteng family and members of the Rufftown record label have reunited to close the chapter on the friction that has existed between them.

This happened at an event dubbed “Ebony Jollof Party”, which was organised by both parties at Dansoman to annually honour the legacy of the Maame Hwe hitmaker.

Elated Wendy Shay, sharing a post with her fans on social media said:
