A Moscow-based clinic, Altravita, has claimed that the tech boss, who has fathered several children through sperm donation, is offering free IVF treatment to women willing to use his sperm.

The facility said that women wanting to undergo IVF treatment can use Pavel Durov’s donated sperm, but only if they meet certain requirements.

What does the clinic claim?

“We are happy to offer you a unique opportunity! Only in our clinic can you undergo IVF for free, using Pavel Durov’s sperm—one of the most famous and successful entrepreneurs of our time. This opportunity is one of a kind, and the number of slots is limited,” reads an announcement on the clinic’s official website.

It further states, “Pavel Durov is willing to finance all the IVF protocols that use his sperm. It is a very generous contribution to society from someone who wants to help those dreaming of becoming parents.” Reportedly, the Telegram boss shared a post about the clinic on his platform with a link to the website but didn’t mention anything about the free treatment.

What are the requirements?

According to the clinic, the maximum age of the participant should not exceed 37. Also, their “health condition should be satisfactory,” which will be determined based on the clinic’s “reproductologist’s medical report.”

The website claimed that only their “cryobank has the exclusive right to store and use the biomaterial of Pavel Durov.”

How did Pavel Durov become a sperm donor?

In his earlier post, Durov shared, “Fifteen years ago, a friend of mine approached me with a weird request. He said that he and his wife couldn’t have kids due to a fertility issue and asked me to donate sperm at a clinic for them to have a baby. I laughed my ass off before realizing he was dead serious.”

However, he later fulfilled their request and was told by a fertility clinic that he was a “high-quality donor material.” This incident led him to sign up as a sperm donor.

Sperm donor who fathered 550 children ordered to stop https://www.adomonline.com/sperm-donor-who-fathered-550-children-ordered-to-stop/ Sun, 30 Apr 2023 11:26:44 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2244390 A Dutch man suspected of fathering more than 550 children worldwide through sperm donations has been ordered to stop.

The man named Jonathan aged 41, could be fined more than €100,000 (£88,000) if he tries to donate again.

He was banned from donating to fertility clinics in the Netherlands in 2017 after it emerged he had fathered more than 100 children.

But instead of stopping he carried on donating sperm abroad and online.

A court in The Hague has told him to provide a list of all the clinics he had used and to order them to destroy his sperm.

The man was said to have misled hundreds of women.

Dutch clinical guidelines state that a donor should not father more than 25 children in 12 families.

They are asked to limit the number of times they offer their services, to reduce the chance that siblings might unknowingly form a couple and have children together.

But judges said the man had helped produce between 550 and 600 children since he began donating sperm in 2007.

He was taken to court by a foundation protecting donor children’s rights, and by the mother of one of the children allegedly fathered from his sperm.

“The point is that this kinship network with hundreds of half-brothers and half-sisters is much too large,” a spokesman for the court, Gert-Mark Smelt, said.

Over 100 of the children fathered by the man were born in Dutch clinics and others privately, but he also donated to a Danish clinic which dispatched his semen to addresses in various countries.

Judge Thera Hesselink said the court “prohibits the defendant from donating his semen to new prospective parents after the issuing of this judgment”.

The man is also not permitted to contact any prospective parents “with the wish that he was willing to donate semen… advertise his services to prospective parents or join any organisation that establishes contact between prospective parents”, the judge said.

The donor “deliberately misinformed” prospective parents about the number of children he had already fathered in the past, the district court in The Hague said.

“All these parents are now confronted with the fact that the children in their family are part of a huge kinship network, with hundreds of half-siblings, which they did not choose,” it said.

The court said it was “sufficiently plausible” that this has or could have negative psychosocial consequences for the children.

The Netherlands has been hit by fertility scandals in the past.

In 2019, a Dutch fertility doctor accused of using his own sperm to inseminate patients without their consent was confirmed as the father of 49 children.

Sperm donor fathers 15 kids in hot waters https://www.adomonline.com/sperm-donor-fathers-15-kids-in-hot-waters/ Tue, 31 May 2022 16:33:04 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2120482 An online sperm donor fathered 15 kids without telling the mums he had a genetic condition which causes learning disabilities, a court heard.

James MacDougall, 37, advertised on a social media page for lesbian women seeking sperm donors despite knowing he had Fragile X syndrome which leads to low IQ and developmental delay.

Despite signing an agreement that he did not want any contact with some of his children, MacDougall applied to the Family Court for parental responsibility and child arrangements orders, allowing him to spend time with four of his children.

The three mums were opposed to MacDougall’s application and judge Mrs Justice Lieven has ruled he should not have parental responsibility for the children as it would cause harm to them.

The Derby Court judge also named Mr MacDougall in order to stop other women using him as a sperm donor.

Mr MacDougall signed up to be an online sperm donor because he knew he could not go through a clinic as he has Fragile X syndrome, the court heard.

The court heard one woman, a 25-year-old named as SW, got into contact with MacDougall after seeing his online advert.

Her child, named only as R, now three, was born in October 2018 followed by a second child, named only as P, now aged two.

As a result of the genetic condition, the three-year-old is not verbal and has challenging behaviour.

After the birth, SW contacted McDougall who visited his baby daughter often.

She became pregnant with a second child while McDougall lived at her home during lockdown before she asked him to leave in June 2020.

She claimed he made sexual comments to her, rubbed his erection against her and showered with the toddler at least twice.

SW has not seen him since an incident in June 2020 when he was arrested for attacking her and leaving her with bruising on her neck and back.

It was also revealed he is the sperm donor of another child, named L, who was born in 2021 and B, a boy who was born in July 2018.

In a different court, Mr MacDougall won a court case allowing him to have regular contact with child B.

However, the child has returned from contact with him and has non-accidental bruises, Mrs Justice Lieven said.

The judge adjourned the case until she received a report from social services.

He was accused of taking advantage of the mum’s desire to have children with no concern on the impact on the mothers and children.

MacDougall was said to have learning difficulties and was on the autistic spectrum, with a profound lack of insight, the judge ruled.

He was also forbidden from applying to the court for the next three years, because of the trauma it would cause to the mothers and his lack of insight into his actions.

She added: “The usual approach of anonymity in the Family Courts should not be used as a way for parents to behave in an unacceptable manner and then hide behind the cloak of anonymity.”

‘I’m pregnant with twins and my friend is the sperm donor – his wife doesn’t know’ https://www.adomonline.com/im-pregnant-with-twins-and-my-friend-is-the-sperm-donor-his-wife-doesnt-know/ Thu, 21 Apr 2022 10:51:49 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2107064 A woman who never thought she’d have kids on account of being asexual found herself in a position where she felt stable enough to raise children all by herself.

With this in mind, she claims she decided to go down the IVF route, using a sperm donor to get pregnant. However, as she was keen to vet their medical history first, she didn’t want to opt for an anonymous donor.

Therefore, the perfect solution appeared to arise when an old friend she’d known since her high school days offered to be her donor, all while happily accepting that he’d play no parental role whatsoever in the child’s life.

The 30-year-old ended up getting pregnant with her pal’s donor sperm, and, at 33 weeks, is soon set to welcome twin daughters into the world.

However, her friend had failed to mention one very important detail during their arrangement – he hadn’t told his wife.

Taking to Reddit, she explained that she’d generously taken her friend and his wife out for dinner as a thank you, but was surprised when the wife didn’t understand where her gratitude was coming from.

She wrote: “His wife was confused when I explained the reason for the dinner and then angry, demanding to know why we kept this from her.

“I was just as shocked and asked my friend if he hadn’t told his wife. He tried to explain to both of us that he hadn’t thought it’d matter as he has no rights to them at all.

“His wife got even angrier at that part stating she isn’t comfortable with their six-year-old son having siblings that aren’t really his siblings and she wants that part changed so that her husband has a legal say over the girls.”

The poster, who goes by the username u/RadiantAppearance57, was left shocked by this demand, making it clear to the wife that she didn’t want her friend involved at all, and that she intended to raise her daughters alone.

She continued: “The three of us got into a huge argument and his wife demanded to know why I wouldn’t tell her that her husband had offered this in the first place.

“I feel very guilty for not checking with his wife first but it honestly never occurred to me that he wouldn’t have done that, so I thought if he was offering she had to have already given the okay.”https://get-latest.convrse.media/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2Fnews%2Fweird-news%2Fim-pregnant-twins-friend-sperm-26754991%3Fint_source%3Dnba&cre=center&cip=18&view=web

The poster went on to clarify that, had she known the wife had been left in the dark, she’d never have agreed to him being her donor in the first place.

One fellow Reddit user wrote: “It wasn’t your responsibility to check with the wife – it was his! This is his problem, not yours. Stand your ground with the agreement made with him – the wife sadly has no say in it.”

We’re like a little modern family – Sperm donor with about 55 children https://www.adomonline.com/were-like-a-little-modern-family-sperm-donor-with-about-55-children/ Wed, 20 Apr 2022 16:28:34 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2106865 A serial sperm donor will soon have 55 children after travelling across the UK and Europe to help women get pregnant.

Kyle Gordy, 30, from Los Angeles, is a father to 46 children and has nine more on the way.

Kylie said of his tour to get women pregnant: “This is my second sperm donation tour to the UK and Europe.

“I’ve travelled from London all the way up to Edinburgh to donate.

“I’m now in Berlin waiting for a couple to get over Covid so I can donate my sperm to them.”

Engaged couple Kathryn, 26, and Alice, 25, from Cambridge, told how they are expecting a child after a donation from Kyle in August 2021.

Kyle makes sperm donations via artificial insemination or sex, which he says accounts for roughly 10% of cases.

He explained: “Some women prefer the old-fashioned way.

“They will ask if we can just have sex and I’ll tell them I’m up for it and we exchange STD tests.”

Kyle has met nine of his children in person, but gets updates on all of them on a group chat for the mothers of the youngsters.

He added: “We’re like a little modern family.”

Kyle always dreamed of having children but never felt compelled to get into a relationship as he is turned off by high divorce rates and monogamy.

Then in 2014, he made his first successful sperm donation to a mutual female friend who wanted to have a baby with her girlfriend.

After the couple became pregnant, Kyle says word quickly spread about his ‘strong sperm’ which lead him to more donations, and soon he began as sharing his services on his Instagram account @KyleGordy123.

He explained: “I always wanted to have kids. I’ve had a few failed relationships but it is something I’m open to in the future with the right person.

“It will take someone special to accept me for what I do.

“I was going to apply to a sperm bank, but it felt so cold and clinical. I also didn’t like the fact that you never knew what happened to your sperm.

“The specimens at a bank could be sitting there for years. You don’t really know what you’re getting.

“I have no idea why a woman would want to use a sperm bank when the success rate is quite low.”

Serial sperm donor will soon have 55 children after travelling on a ‘donation tour’ https://www.adomonline.com/serial-sperm-donor-will-soon-have-55-children-after-travelling-on-a-donation-tour/ Tue, 19 Apr 2022 16:17:31 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2106374 A serial sperm donor will soon have 55 children after travelling on a “donation tour”.

Kyle Gordy has already made six donations to women in the UK and Europe and more kids are expected.

The 30-year-old from Los Angeles, California, USA, is father to 46 children and currently has nine more on the way – with at least three of his future donation kids located in the UK.

A young couple from Cambridge, UK, have told how they are grateful for Kyle’s donation he made while on his first “sperm donation tour” last year, as they are now 27 weeks pregnant.

Kyle said: “This is my second sperm donation tour to the UK and Europe.

“I’ve travelled from London all the way up to Edinburgh to donate.

“I’m now in Berlin waiting for a couple to get over Covid so I can donate my sperm to them.

“I was in the UK and Europe back in August 2021 as well, where I also went to Denmark and Sweden to donate.

“I’m really enjoying my time here, but it is much harder to find healthy and organic foods which I rely on to keep my sperm healthy.

“I hope to come back and visit Ireland and Wales. I’m also looking to go to Australia and New Zealand soon.”

Engaged UK couple Kathryn, 26, and Alice, 25, are currently expecting a child – carried by Kathryn – thanks to Kyle’s donation back in August 2021.

The women say they are grateful for his help in making their dreams of completing their family come true.

Alice said: “We decided to have a baby to complete our family, as I have a three-year-old son and we wanted another, and for Kathryn to carry so we both have that experience.

“We were drawn to Kyle’s profile after a friend told us about him, and we saw posts of his positive pregnancies and beautiful donor children.

“The fact that he has a history of successful pregnancies was very comforting to us.

“We got to know Kyle quite a bit before we decided. First thing we asked for was recent STD results, which he did not hesitate to provide.

“We loved that his entire family were well-educated. According to Kyle, his family consists mainly of lawyers, engineers, scientists and programmers.

“We also liked that he was open to contact with the child after birth. We want our child to have the option of being able to know their biological father.”

Kathryn added that they preferred to use Kyle’s donation over a sperm bank due to the “freshness” of the specimen and the more personable nature of the agreement.

She said: “Fresh sperm is more effective at achieving pregnancy than frozen sperm. We got pregnant the first cycle with Kyle and only had one donation.

“We had friends use banks and most ended up trying multiple cycles to get pregnant and some did not get pregnant at all, so the success rate of frozen sperm was a huge turn off.

“We enjoyed the fact we got to get to know him, and he was more than just a number on a vial.

“When we met up and after the insemination, we got to know Kyle more and really talk to him on a deeper level, which you cannot find at any sperm bank.

“He told us more about his life, was funny, made us feel comfortable, and we really just hit it off and knew we made the right choice.”

Kyle said he always dreamed of having children but never felt compelled to get into a relationship as he is turned off by high divorce rates and the responsibility that comes with monogamy.

Then in 2014, he made his first successful sperm donation to a mutual female friend who wanted to have a baby with her girlfriend.

After the couple became pregnant, Kyle says word quickly spread about his “strong sperm” which led him to more donations and soon he began as sharing his services on his Instagram account @KyleGordy123 .

Kyle is open to making donations via artificial insemination using his sperm or through sexual intercourse, which he says accounts for roughly 10% of donations.

He explained: “Some women prefer the old-fashioned way, as they don’t want to waste time and they feel it will be more effective.

“They will ask if we can just have sex, and I’ll tell them I’m up for it and we exchange STD tests.”

While Kyle has met nine of his kids in person, he said he receives updates about all his children.

Kyle manages a group chat dedicated to the mothers of his children, who use the space to talk with each other and exchange photos of their kids – who are all half-siblings.

He said: “We’re like a little modern family. It’s nice to see the mums speaking to each other and swapping photos.

“For me, this is so much better than donating to a sperm bank. This way I get pictures, I get to be friends with the mothers and see my kids grow up.”

Health-conscious Kyle eats organic food while also consuming 18 different herbs and supplements a day to ensure his sperm is in tip-top shape.

He also claims that he never consumes caffeine, drinks alcohol, uses drugs or smokes cigarettes.

Kyle does not charge anything for his donations and says he does it simply because he wants to help women have children.

Kyle visited 13 US states to donate, including California Oregon, Kansas, Alaska, Seattle, Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Hawaii and North Carolina.

He has so far visited England, Scotland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark and Mexico to donate.

He said: “I need to keep myself healthy, so I have the best sperm. This is important to me.

“It might seem excessive, but I want to make sure what I’m donating is tip top.

“I’m not sure what the future will hold but for now i’m happy being able to donate to women and couples in need.”

Sperm donor with ‘150 children worldwide’ makes shocking revelation https://www.adomonline.com/sperm-donor-with-150-children-worldwide-makes-shocking-revelation/ Thu, 24 Dec 2020 17:19:26 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1898268 An American sperm donor who claims to have fathered 150 children worldwide has impregnated three British women ahead of Christmas.

‘Joe Donor’ from Vermont, who conceals his real name, has been living in Ilford, Essex, for the past three months after first arriving in the UK in September.

The 50-year-old, who has travelled across America, Argentina, Italy, Singapore, The Philippines, and the UK donating his sperm, previously admitted that he is on a mission to impregnate as many women as he can, with 2,500 kids being a long-term goal.

According to him, the news of three mothers-to-be, who he claims are set to give birth to his children in 2021 is the ‘best Christmas present of all.’

He claimed he had sex with two of them, while the third conceived through artificial insemination.

Sperm donor with

Joe offers both options and says about 50 percent of his offspring are a result of having sex but insists he does not make any profit from his donations, although sometimes his clients pay for his travel expenses.

Joe said: ‘Helping women create the gift of life is the best present of all. I’m always ready to climb down that chimney and give women the dream baby they’ve always wanted.

‘Since arriving in the UK in September I have met up with about 15 women. Most of them don’t want to have sex, because they say it causes too many issues in their relationship, or they’re lesbians. But it’s more effective when it’s natural.

‘I’d say about three of those women I have met I’ve had sex with, and two of those are pregnant. But not everyone reports back and lets me know if they’re expecting.

‘Since my time in the UK I have travelled to Wales, Hull, Birmingham, Portsmouth and Kent.’

He added: ‘I feel like I’m the luckiest man in the world to be able to help women in their time of need. It was lovely to hear the news that three women I met during my time in the UK are now pregnant. There’s no better Christmas present than that.’

Joe claims the pandemic hasn’t slowed him down this year and that on average, he impregnates 10 women per year.

He continued: ‘I’ll never know the exact number but it’s definitely in the double figures every year. I will use a mask when having sex to help stop the spread of coronavirus but you cannot keep socially distanced.

‘I love seeing photos of the babies when they’re born as a lot of them do look like me. I don’t financially gain from providing my sperm to women, I just enjoy helping people.

‘Luckily I run a few online businesses so I’m always available and can provide sperm whenever they’re ovulating.’

He added: ‘I have a health check at least annually but if a woman requests more frequent testing, I will have another check on demand.

‘Women I help all have checks during pregnancy so they’d soon find out if they’d contracted a sexually transmitted disease, which has never happened.’

Joe is hoping to head back to his hometown of America after his UK trip but says he’s happy to travel anywhere in the world to donate his sperm.

He said : ‘I’m contacted by women all over the world via Facebook or email. I don’t mind travelling as I can work wherever I need to in the world.

‘I will be in the UK for the foreseeable though and I’m hoping to continue spreading Christmas cheer for as long as possible.’

He said: ‘I have babies all over the world and although people always worry over incestual issues that is a concern for clinics because mothers and children never meet their donors.

Sperm donor with

‘I meet mothers in person when donating, and I am happy to meet any child at any time, and keep in touch with mothers who want to keep in touch, so that everyone knows of half-siblings, and this problem has never happened with me or any other private sperm donor.

‘I started donating sperm in 2008 and have fathered on average 10 children per year. I have always said I wouldn’t father more than 2500. I aim to donate my sperm for as long as it works which could be until I’m in my 90’s.’

Joe opts to have yearly medical checks to ensure he’s practising as safe as possible.
