The tie, played at the Kpobiman Training Centre, swung the way of the visitors after the break when Arhin finished off a neat attacking move, latching onto Robert Nartey’s clever assist to fire home the winning goal.

Hearts of Oak enjoyed large spells of possession but found True Life’s well-drilled defence difficult to break down.

In a bid to rescue the contest, the Phobians introduced attacking options Hamza Issah, George Paa Ku, Hussein Mohammed and Amankwah Baafi, but the lower-tier side refused to crack.

True Life FC defended resolutely, absorbed the late pressure, and made their single major chance count, condemning Hearts to another frustrating early exit from the competition.

In other results, Attram De Visser edged Vision FC to progress, while Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars earned a narrow 1-0 win over Basake Holy Stars.

Asanka FC also recorded a 1-0 victory against Great Ambition, and Myersterious Dwarfs claimed a similar scoreline over Police Nations.

Two-time titleholders Medeama SC will come up against Rospak FC, while historic side Sekondi Eleven Wise have been handed a tough test against Premier League leaders FC Samartex 1996.

Record champions Hearts of Oak will meet third-tier True Life FC, as Na God FC and Dreams FC prepare for clashes with Accra Great Olympics and Semper FI, respectively.

All fixtures are scheduled for the weekend of November 25–27, 2025.

Great Olympics will also host Golden Kicks FC at the Accra Sports Stadium with King Faisal FC also set to travel to the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as guests of Namoro FC.

The remaining matches will be played on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 and Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Matches involving Dreams FC and Medeama SC have been postponed due to their respective CAF Club Competition matches.

Defending Champions Dreams FC will take on Susubribi FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu with Asante Kotoko SC coming up against Nations FC in an Asante derby at the Baba Yara Stadium

Two former Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak SC and FC Nania will square off at the Accra Sports Stadium for a place in the next round of the competition.

The draw which was held at the GFA Secretariat also saw other interesting regional derbies between familiar foes including Aduana FC vs Berekum Chelsea FC,  Elmina Sharks FC vs Young Redbull FC and Steadfast FC vs Karela FC.

Last season’s semi-finalists Skyy FC will also come up against Premier League side FC Samartex at the St. Martins Park in Daboase.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will soon announce the Match venues and specific dates  for the matches which are scheduled to be played between  November 28-30, 2023
