In a passionate sermon, Prophet Oduro rebuked these clergy for what he described as compromising their integrity and neutrality.

During his sermon, Prophet Oduro expressed shock at witnessing clergy praying for Vice President Bawumia to ascend to the presidency, labeling it as an unacceptable practice.

He emphasized that clergy should not sell their grace or compromise their duty to remain impartial representatives of God.

According to him, clergy have the responsibility to advise and admonish politicians but should refrain from openly endorsing or praying for specific candidates.

Prophet Oduro questioned whether financial incentives influenced their actions.

He asserted his own neutrality, stating that it allows him to boldly scrutinize the actions of politicians without bias.

He stressed that God will judge politicians based on their actions and condemned the act of blessing one politician over another as nonsensical and contrary to the principles of God.

Addressing the congregation, Prophet Oduro expressed concerns about the increase in prophecies on the night of December 31st, cautioning against the notion that divine messages are exclusive to that specific date.

The outspoken critic of misconduct within the church reiterated that God communicates continuously and not solely on special occasions.

“Tonight, there will be so many interesting gimmicks in the name of prophecies. Nobody is saying there are no prophecies. God is speaking all the time. The bible said, ‘once God has spoken and twice we have heard, that dominion, power and salvation belongs to God.  Nobody is saying God doesn’t speak but you can’t wait and tell me God only speaks on 31st nights.

“God is speaking all the time, God is speaking in the morning, in the night, in the evening, in Easter, in Ramadan, in Spring, autumn, summer, winter. God is speaking all the time but we can’t hear because we are too busy. So interestingly, tonight, there are going to be many gimmicks in the name of prophecies.”

He further cautioned that “gimmicks, fraudsters, imposters and criminals” have now taken cover in clerical suit, hence Christians must beware.

According to him, it is due to such miscreants that the Ghana Police Service have been forced to issue directives to curb the works of the spirit.

“Let the word of God prevail. If we are matured, wise enough and carried ourselves well as the church should, the Ghana Police Service will not wake up and write to the church, telling us be careful you don’t prophesy to somebody and say you will die. Make sure you don’t do that because we are on the lookout and standby and will take ABC to court.

“If the church is really positioned as it should be with a voice, the police has no right to write to them telling them that but because we have a lot of absurdity in us and among us, this gives the Police the audacity to come and regulate what God says in church.

The prophet opined the late Ebony Reigns was destined to do well, but for an accident that claimed her life when she was at the peak of her career.

To him, her melodious voice was a blessing; one that even many gospel artistes do not have.

“Ebony Reigns was also gifted. Ebony’s voice is far better than many gospel musicians. You can’t take that away from her. She was a wondeful musician,” he said.

Prophet Oduro made the statement while making a case for continuous praises unto God at the just ended International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYes).

According to him, though some artistes do not have the best voice, they try their possible best to render praises to God, and he called on others to emulate that.

He further attributed divorce, setbacks and negativities prevailing in the lives of others to their failure to use their voices for a divine purpose.

The photos were a collage to celebrate their 21st marriage anniversary.

They were spotted all loved up in different locations. In two of the images, they were seen passionately kissing.

The photos spotted his wife, a fair lady he identified as Lady Pastor Oduro with a down cut.

The outspoken man of God splashed the photos on his Instagram page coupled with a heartfelt message to God.

According to him, his past lifestyle has helped shape him to be a better person now.

“Growing up for me was very rough, I was born in Tesano. I grew up in Fadama and Abeka. There has been a rough patch for me during adolescence because I joined gangs. You can see it in my flair; that belligerence, possibly that’s where it’s coming from,” Prophet Oduro said in an interview on Citi TV.

As notorious as he was, being a man of God was never part of his dreams and aspirations in life.

“We had a rough kind of lifestyle. I have been a heavy driver, smoker and went into rap music. If someone has said I will become a pastor, I never would have believed it,” he said.

Prophet Oduro believed God made him go through rough times for him to understand the kingdom work.

His encounter with God, the ‘aggressive preacher’ stated was through a near-death experience, and it had redirected his course in life.

Since that experience, Prophet Oduro said he vowed to serve God with his aggressiveness to win more souls for Christ.

General Overseer and Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has requested that his colleague prophet, Dr Kofi Oduro apologises to all prophets in Ghana.

The request comes on the back of Prophet Oduro’s description of prophets who prophesied about Ghana’s impending 2020 elections as jokers and foolish.

Dr Oduro had said in his criticism of such prophecies that the prophets behind them were liars who were making mockery of God.

Those words didn’t go down well with some of the prophets, especially Owusu Bempah who has since expressed anger at Prophet Oduro.

Speaking on Adom TV’s morning show, Badwam, an obviously furious Owusu Bempah asked Prophet Oduro to apologise to him and his colleagues or he gets him ‘exposed’.

Owusu Bempah described Prophet Oduro as a small boy who should concentrate on his job and stop attacking people like him.

According to Rev. Bempah, Prophet Oduro doesn’t know anything about holiness and is therefore not in any position to comment on same, describing his description of him and the others as baseless.
