rophet Kumchacha admitted that his harsh evaluations during Mahama’s term, particularly concerning issues like power supply (dumsor), currency depreciation, and fuel management, were misguided.

Reflecting on the current economic challenges under the present administration, Kumchacha acknowledged that Mahama’s leadership was comparatively more effective.

He noted that the persistent economic hardships, including over a year of erratic power supply, have been more severe after Mahama’s tenure.

“If I ever criticized you on anything relating to dumsor, cedi depreciation, fuel, and any other thing, please forgive me. Compared to what we are facing now, you’re an angel,” Kumchacha said.

Additionally, Prophet Kumchacha expressed his surprise and disappointment in Kennedy Agyapong for endorsing Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the recent NPP Presidential Primaries.

Kumchacha expressed dismay that Agyapong’s support came despite his earlier strong criticisms of Bawumia during the primary campaign.

He emphasized that offerings, or “seeds,” must be substantial, suggesting that anything below GHS 50 or GHS 100 is disrespectful to God.

In an interview on Hitz FM, Kumchacha drew attention to the disparity between the amounts parents typically provide for their children’s school expenses and the offerings made in church.

He expressed disappointment in congregants who attend air-conditioned churches but offer small amounts, considering it a disgrace to both themselves and the ministry.

He also noted that the offerings are used to cater for bills incurred by the church after services, including electricity.

According to him, the weight of the ‘seed’ amounts to equal measure of blessings attracted from God.

These remarks come in response to comments made by Bishop Obinim, who similarly criticized offerings of GHS 5 and GHS 10, deeming them disrespectful to God.

Bishop Obinim warned that accepting such low offerings could bring curses upon the givers, urging congregants who could not afford the minimum offering to refrain from approaching the altar.

The feud stemmed from her criticism of veteran musician, Edward Akwasi Boateng for accepting a luxurious car gift from a man of God.

The ceremony, according to him, will take place on March 27, 2023, at Manor House, North London in the United Kingdom.

With plans to contest the presidential seat in 2024, Kumchacha stated Miss Asamoah will be a great fit as Ghana’s First Lady when he comes into power.

“Her dressing lately speaks a lot that she is qualified for the position and I cannot wait to make her my wife,” he declared on Accra-based Okay FM.

Prophet Kumchacha claimed that he has deeply fallen in love with the musician and is convinced nothing under the sun can stop him from making the latter his wife.

The Founder and Leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, has called on Ghanaians to vote for illiterates in the next presidential and parliamentary elections.

This, according to him, is because the literates have failed to deliver on their promises over the years.

In an interview with Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning on Monday, he said Ghana, under the 4th Republic, continue to punch below its belt.

According to him, illiterates, including himself, have great vision and can develop Ghana as presidents better than the literates.

Prophet Kumchacha, who is aspiring for the Presidential position in 2024, believes the most relevant things needed for the improvement of the country’s economy are wisdom and knowledge.

“The wisdom and knowledge you have and the vision you’re bringing up are the things that are necessary and will help. It’s not about English,” he said.

He added that “If it was about speaking English, who speaks English better than President Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr. Bawumia? They both speak very good English, but the economy is still suffering, and things are still very bad. So if we’ve tried the literates and it’s not working, let’s try the illiterates and see.”

He cautioned the government to stop blaming the Russia-Ukraine war for Ghana’s economic condition, insisting that Ghana is not the only country that has been affected by the crisis.

Speaking on the show, Prophet Kumchacha promised that if elected President of Ghana, he would change the country’s rent control system and make the Ghana Police Service independent.

He, however, refused to reveal his presidential visions and plans, claiming that his ideas will be stolen by other politicians.

He stipulated that announcing one’s visions and plans does not guarantee that Ghanaians will vote for him or her.

“I won’t say all my visions because most of the politicians are thieves. If you disclose your visions, they will steal them. So I will reveal only two. Every human being ‘your secret is your power’. So the rest is my secret, it’s my power,” he stated.

Prophet Kumchacha believes being an authoritative President helps in enforcing laws for the betterment of the country.

Meanwhile, he has expressed his displeasure towards Akufo-Addo and the NPP government. He said he has regretted voting for Akufo-Addo in 2020.

“I thought and hoped he could do the work. I’m disappointed and have regretted voting for him,” he said.

As the founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Kumchacha revealed his presidential campaign will be financed by himself and not his church members.

According to him, given the socio-economic challenges in the country, Ghana needs a spiritual leader for respite.

He indicated that no canal man can save the country from total collapse, hence his decision to contest the elections in 2024.

According to him, a lot of the youth nowadays don’t have the patience to work hard and build their career.

The late student of Oyoko School of Dispensing Optics, Kwabena Asumadu, met his untimely death shortly after dropping off his friend at Sofoline around 11:00 pm.

The deceased, who was driving an unregistered Mercedes-Benz, was shot multiple times by his assailants through the driver side.

He was returning to Offinso when the unfortunate incident happened.

He sustained gunshots wounds on his neck and head before dying.

Police sources say nothing was stolen from him.

Reacting to this, Prophet Kumchacha said life is about patience. Explaining further, he cited the story of God’s creation in the Bible, saying “even God used seven days to create the world. He could have done everything in one day.”

According to Kumchacha, God only wanted to show the essence of patience and time.

There was a young guy in Kumasi, 23 years and he was shot. Life is about patience. God could have used one day to create heavens and earth, but he used 7 days. He wanted to show everyone the essence of patience and time. If you work hard and earn it, it’s better. The little you get is better… we should want quality, not quantity, he said on Daybreak Hitz.

Founder and Leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, aka Kumchacha, has indicated he is a testimony that God does not call the qualified but He qualifies those He calls.

Taking his turn on Adom TV M’ashyase3, Kumchacha disclosed he was a miscreant growing up.

This, he explained, affected his education and as a result, could not even have a successful primary education.

“Stories about my education are nothing to write home about. I stopped and completed school early due to my attitude and I don’t remember the level I got to. As a young boy, I was trained to smoke weed and learnt other behaviour that did not augur well for me,” he recounted.

Kumchacha also revealed to show host, Afia Amankwa Tamakloe that he used to fight a lot and was very intolerant, hence was always prepared for a fight on the street.

“When you go to my hometown Apedwa, they will tell you about me and because I fought often, I used to grind pepper or keep broken bottles in my pocket as a weapon,” he said.

Asked what he used the pepper and broken bottles for, he indicated it was to weaken his opponents, especially if he could not face them.

“I will just pour the pepper into my hand and smear on their face and they will turn to focus more on the pain than the fight then I triumph,” he added.

Fast forward, Kumchacha noted he decided to let go of these attitudes after prophecies of God’s power upon his life started coming to him.

He was subsequently prayed for and delivered and is now a man God has used for greater works in Ghana and beyond.

According to him, Kumchacha is a Latin word which means anointed or powerful man of God.

Kumchacha, who has been tagged by many as a controversial pastor, disclosed this on Adom TV’s M’ashyase3 show.

He explained he earned the name during a crusade in the United States of America several years ago.

“I did not even understand the meaning but I accepted it and was later told it was as a result of the powerful ministration God used me for during the crusade,” he told Afia Amankwa Tamakloe

He added: “I agreed to keep the name because it sounded nice and after the man told me what it meant I realised it will be the best to represent my calling.”

Suspected thieves have broken into the home of the founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, aka Kumchacha at Kasoa-Tuba.

The incident, according to him, occurred while he was away at dawn to preach at a radio station.

The thieves reportedly made away with GHC10,000, his laptops and other personal belongings.

Narrating the incident on Adom FM’s Midday News, Kasiebo is Tasty, Kumchacha explained the suspects gained access through the back of the house.

He indicated they destroyed the windows burglar-proof to carry out their operations.

“When I returned from the dawn preaching, I realised all the windows and doors have been left ajar and I had a strong feeling something bad might have happened and we confirmed upon entry,” he narrated.

Meanwhile, he said the Kasoa tollbooth police have been to the house to assess the situation after a call was placed to them.

Founder and Leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, aka Kumchacha, has hit hard at his colleague pastors over prophecies in Church.

According to him, some colleagues have deviated from the core ministerial work and embarked on personal agenda through prophecy.

“There are good pastors but some are also doing their own things because no good pastor will create confusion in families or accuse people unnecessarily.

“We have deviated from the real salvation and repentance message and now stand on the pulpit for two hours prophesying instead of preaching to the congregation,” he said on Accra-based Okay FM.

Kumchacha added some men of God have also become politicians, and photocopy prophecies given by others, adding the ministry has become a competition.

“A prophecy will come from one person and the next minute, most prophets will jump on it which is not supposed to be so and some even go to the extent of lying.

“We have people who will come on social media to prophesy about rains but that is because they have friends at the Meteorological Agency who feed them with information and not because God has revealed to them,” he fumed.

In his view, Jesus Christ as the Messiah is also the perfect example for all to follow, stating though He gave prophecies, he did not sway away from the core mandate of salvation and repentance for which God sent Him.

His comment comes in the wake of a court case involving colleague Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah, aka Jesus Ahuofe of the New Life Kingdom Chapel.

Jesus Ahuofe was arrested and remanded following his prophecy that dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, would be shot dead on October 18, 2021.

On the said date, rumours went viral that Shatta Wale had been shot by some unknown gunmen.

One of his team members, Nana Dope, alleged that Shatta Wale was ambushed by gunmen but he managed to escape and was battling for his life at a health facility.

The man of God has, however, been granted bail to the tune of GHC100,000 with three sureties who are gainfully employed.

In a period where the craze for wealth, whether ill-gotten or genuine, is on the rise, Prophet Kumchacha has admonished the modern generation to pull their brakes.

According to the man of God, the craze is the major reason for the incessant ritual killings and other crimes which have made headlines quite recently.

He advised the youth to be patient – a virtue he said breeds victory – while speaking as a guest on the spiritual segment of Adom TV’s Ahosepe Xtra.

Prophet Kumchacha preached that walking hand-in-hand with God earns many benefits than pacing ahead of God.

“If you do not die early, prison will be your new home,” he reminded as he states other undeniable fates that await such persons.

Prophet Kumchacha likened persons engaging in competition of vanity to Satan, who he described as a force on earth with the motive of killing, stealing and destroying.

According to the Founder of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, he is finding it difficult to believe that the video vixen and outgoing personality is now fully into God – denouncing her past life.

He, however, explained that: “If it isn’t fake but it comes from her heart then it’s a good thing. In the Bible, ‘Luke 15:7’ talks about it the more and gives much insight to that.”

He said on Adom FM that many are observing her, adding that, her updates will show if they should accept “the new Moesha”.

His comment comes after his religion was questioned following a viral video which captured some congregants fighting spiritualities with cutlasses, brooms and other weapons.

Prophet Kumchacha termed the act pure insanity, especially for a congregation that is that large but lacked knowledge.

He encouraged Christians to learn to apply wisdom to their service to God, rather than follow the direction of clueless pastors.

Drama as this, he added, is why Christianity is swiftly fading and the public are having trust issues with religious leaders.

Prophet Kumchacha called for the arrest of the Head Pastor of the unidentified church for wielding a gun in his spiritual warfare.

The preacher has expressed disappointment that mother Ghana is paying any attention to the LGBTQI community.

In his opinion, such a debate has proved Ghana is dead, for which he is in uncontrollably mourning.

Prophet Kumchacha said he has never, since his birth, seen deviants this bold, even to the extent of setting up offices.

The Muslim turned Christian said LGBTQI goes contrary to morality and culture, hence must be deemed unacceptable by all standards.

To express his grief, Kumchacha was spotted rocking a black Kente ensemble with a pair of dark sunglasses, a new way of dressing he says he has adopted indefinitely to express his disappointment.

He is also admonishing well-meaning citizens to mourn Ghana anyhow they can; in their way of dressing or to publicly cast out such rainbow individuals.

Recalled a robber had his manhood bitten off after requesting for oral sex from a 23-year-old he had drugged and raped.

Kumchacha, making his opinion known, said the victim deserves accolades, adding that he has prepared a gift for her.

He said the victim should have bitten the entire manhood, including the scrotum off simultaneously to the glory of God.

The spiritual man, who believes vengeance must not always be left to the Lord, advised women to emulate the bravery of the victim.

Prophet Kumchacha added the victims should start from the lips of the rapist, down to the inner thighs and finally to the manhood.

Elaborating how the deed should be done in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM, Kumchacha advised the women to use their teeth like a knife, such that the rapist will barely survive.

That, he said will please God, and in turn reward the woman with more might to fight off physical abusers.

The popular prophet was supported by friends and family to finally bid farewell to his mother.

However, Prophet Kumchacha surprised his guests at the funeral with a mansion-styled casket that contained the remains of his dear mother. The coffin has, as expected, made waves on social media.

His periodic visits to France, United States of America and Britain among others have earned him the self-acclaimed title.

Speaking to Adom News, he listed America as his favourite country, having stayed in over 15 states for many years.

Kumchacha says his stay in America has polished his English and he has learnt how to ‘slang’ and express himself better than most pastors in Ghana.

However, he revealed he is on a travel break in recent times because due to COVID-19, his financial strength has gone down.

According to Prophet Kumchacha, his colleague and bosom friend always had more than enough support from people he knew and other faceless ones.

“Personally I have supported Apraku for the past six years in finances and other ways I could after he returned from abroad and things started going bad,” he said.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Thursday, he explained he was saddened to see him in such state prior to his death since he was never left to his fate.

“Pastor Badu Kobi has also been doing his best, Rev Obofour rented an apartment for him at Spintex, bought him a 4X4 vehicle among other things while Kofi Adoma also, through the support of others, provided weekly funds when possible,” he recounted.

The ‘spiritual soldiers’ led by Founder and Leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha will invoke the wrath of God on any group or individual who will launch vitriolic attacks on Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin II.

His comment comes after some people accused the Okyehene of engaging in illegal mining popularly known as galamsey.

They claimed his supposed fight against galamsey is hypocritical because he is clandestinely engaging in it as his backyard.

But Prophet Kumchacha on Adom Evening News Tuesday condemn in no uncertain terms the insults and attempted vilification of the personality of Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin whom he described as the ‘Asona Piesie’ and Great King of Okyeman by surrogates of the ruling NDC especially its executives in the Eastern Region.

He noted that, that there is a “concentrated satanic attack” being waged against Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin but warned that if those involved don’t stop, they will suffer stroke.

“We the pastors from Akyem Abuakwa will pray fervently against anyone who insults our chief. The person will either be cripple or suffer stroke” he stressed.
