Jarvis made the disclosure during a live video on Tuesday, days after Peller was hospitalised following a crash on the Lekki–Epe Expressway while livestreaming. The incident sparked widespread reactions and criticism on social media.

Addressing the situation, Jarvis urged the public to stop mocking Peller, saying the online backlash had worsened an already difficult moment.

She explained that Peller’s challenges stem from emotional control issues rather than bad intentions, stressing that he needs support rather than ridicule.

Jarvis confirmed that the relationship had ended but clarified that the decision was not driven by anger or hostility. According to her, the breakup was necessary to allow space for healing and personal growth, adding that she still cares deeply about him.

She also appealed to fans to stop spreading harmful narratives and instead promote positivity, noting that social media pressure had added emotional strain to the situation.

Expressing gratitude that no lives were lost in the crash, Jarvis said her main concern remains the well-being of both herself and Peller, describing the pause in their relationship as temporary and necessary.

Peller crashed his Mercedes-Benz during a livestream titled “RIP Peller,” in which he appeared emotionally distressed. He was assisted by bystanders and later taken to hospital for treatment.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, the incident occurred on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The police said Peller was taken into custody after the video circulated widely on social media.

According to the statement, the influencer was driving at excessive speed while broadcasting live, an action the police described as dangerous and capable of putting the lives of other road users at risk.

The crash, they noted, could have resulted in serious harm to both the suspect and members of the public.

The case has been referred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigations. Police say Peller will be charged to court once investigations are completed, and findings will be made public.

Reacting to the incident, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, cautioned social media influencers and content creators against engaging in or promoting reckless behaviour online.

He stressed that such conduct would not be tolerated and assured the public that the police remain committed to ensuring road safety and public order.

A video circulating on social media shows moments leading up to the crash, with Peller appearing visibly distressed and emotional. In the footage, he is heard crying and speaking incoherently, suggesting he was experiencing significant emotional turmoil at the time.

He thanked his followers, expressed fear, and reassured that he did not intend to harm anyone. The video ends with a scream, followed by the sound of the crash.

The clip has since gone viral, with many social media users expressing concern about Peller’s mental and emotional state prior to the incident. Details surrounding the crash, including the extent of any injuries and his current condition, remain unclear.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Jarvis, released an emotional video following the incident. In the short clip, she appeared visibly distressed, insisting that she had done her best amid the unfolding events.

Jarvis repeatedly questioned why the situation had occurred, expressing frustration and anguish while appealing to the public to acknowledge what she described as the truth.
