Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr. Nelson highlighted that the NDC currently holds 15 out of the 17 parliamentary seats in the Western Region, attributing the party’s success to the hard work of its members and the support of residents.

He noted that Members of Parliament, as well as Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCs), are all working diligently to sustain the trust the people have placed in the party.

“The number of seats reflects the strong support the party is receiving from the people. Everyone is putting in their best effort. All the MPs are working across the metropolitan areas, and the MMDCs are also contributing,” he said.

Mr. Nelson expressed confidence that the NDC would retain all 15 seats in the next general elections, emphasizing that the party is focused on addressing key issues affecting residents.

“We are committed to sustaining the trust that the people have placed in us. I believe we can maintain all fifteen seats in the next election. The NPP should not worry at all; we are taking this matter seriously. We are listening to and addressing the issues that concern the people,” he added.
