The incident occurred at Adjakamanso in the Western Region on November 30, 2024, during the final leg of her campaign ahead of the general elections.

According to reports, the attackers mistakenly targeted her RAM campaign vehicle, believing it to be her regular campaign car.

The assailants reportedly smashed the vehicle’s windows, cracked its windscreen, and physically assaulted members of her campaign team.

Mrs. Gyan Cudjoe, who had embarked on her campaign journey earlier that day, covering several communities within the constituency, was not present in the targeted vehicle at the time of the attack.

The campaign team has since lodged a formal complaint with the Wassa Dominase Police Station, and an investigation is expected to be launched into the incident.

This attack has raised concerns over political violence in the lead-up to the December 7 elections, with many calling for calm and the enforcement of security measures to ensure the safety of all candidates and supporters.

Mrs. Gyan Cudjoe and the NDC leadership are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.

The ruling marked a significant victory, and Gyan expressed heartfelt gratitude to her supporters and new legal team for their efforts in securing this win.

Shortly after the ruling, she took to social media to announce the decision and rally her supporters for the political battle ahead.

Confident that the stumbling block has been cleared, Gyan believes her path to success is now stronger than ever and her victory is undeniable.

Despite the court case, Madam Gyan had been actively canvassing for the NDC, with her most recent engagement being at the NDC Miners Conference in Wassa Achcherie.

This gathering was crucial in addressing the challenges and opportunities within Ghana’s mining sector, emphasizing responsible practices that prioritize both economic growth and the well-being of communities.

She expressed her deep commitment to creating sustainable pathways for development that benefit the people and preserve the nation’s resources.

She emphasized, “I love to learn new things, I love to grow and discover new possibilities. I think the day I stop learning, I start dying.”
 
On the challenges encountered during the course period, she mentioned that, “Despite the challenges of balancing my course work with my responsibilities in Amenfi Central and other commitments, it’s been worth it.”

When asked why she chose a security-related course, Joana explained that, “Security is crucial, both on a personal and corporate levels. I believe what I’ve learned will significantly contribute to my ability to serve the people of Amenfi Central and Ghana better once elected”.

According to him, his wife understands his career and treats anything that happens during their music productions professionally.

In an interview on Joy Prime’s morning show, Keche Andrew cited that they shot their newest track, “Party of the Year,” with approximately forty female models, but his wife did not complain about it.

“I remember when we were shooting and my wife came there. She was like, ‘Wow’;it’s a beautiful sight to behold,” he said.

Asked whether his wife is never alarmed seeing him around girls like that, he said, “Not at all.”

Andrew Keche further said people must not draw negative conclusions upon seeing the opposite sex together.

His colleague, Keche Joshua, also noted that despite such activities being part of their job, they are equally careful with their closeness with the ladies to maintain their dignity.

“You need to understand whatever you’re doing before you start. We know what we’re doing, and it comes with certain things, but you need to allow them to respect you. Give them that chance to respect you, and we make sure we keep it all the time,” he asserted.

The duo also mentioned that they are particular about when to release their songs in terms of season, day, and time, which is why they are out again with their new single titled “Party of the Year” to climax 2023.

The campaign event that took place at the Wassa Agona Amenfi Methodist School Park had many dignitaries including traditional leaders and politicians across the country present to throw their weight behind her aspiration.

The Gyeduakese Chief, Nana Kofi Yeboah, Obaahenmaa Ama Dansowaa (Agona Obaahenmaa), Nana Kweku Afi (Caretaker Wasa Agona Amenfi) and Tetrete Kyeme Kwabena Nu, formed part of the traditional envoy that graced the occasion.

Meanwhile, Hanna Bisiw, the NDC National Women Organiser; Gladys Agyin, the NDC Western Regional Women Organiser; Hajia Rashida Mahama, the Ningo Prampram Constituency Women Organiser) and Madam Francisca Adu Yeboah, the former Deputy Regional Woman Organiser for Ashanti Region formed part of the list of politicians who thronged the venue to support the cause.

The list included the former Amenfi Central MP, Hon George Arthur and Madam Gifty Coffie, who is the Ellembelle NDC Women Organiser.

Speaking to the media after the launch, Joana Gyan said she is certain to improve the standard of life of people living at Amenfi Central.

According to her, children, men and women empowerment are key on her manifesto among others that will increase development in the region.

“Just as I am the Development Queen I will do my best to support farmers, schools and kids… we will lobby with investors to come and support us. We will also roll out scholarships to support education. We will also provide potable water and computer labs for students to be abreast with IT… we will improve sports too by building astroturf among other amenities,” she said.

Additionally, Hanna Bisiw lauded her for defying the odds as a woman contender at Amenfi Central.

“I realised that the 20 women in parliament should be retained and more women should be added to it. So when Joana came and said she wanted to contest, I gave her my support. She is doing the work and has the experience.

“In Amenfi Central it’s only one woman, Joana Gyan. The men have done a good job, but for the first time, there is a woman at number 5 on the ballot. She deserves the chance. I support Joana Gyan and John Mahama. I support all the women who want to contest,” he said.

Gyeduakese chief, Nana Kofi Yeboah, commended her for her boldness and desire to bring change to Amenfi Central.

“I prophesied that no one will disqualify her and it happened. I know very well you cannot disappoint us… God bless you,” he said.

But, speaking on JoyNews, Pappy disclosed Joshua of ‘Keche’ fame could be upset because he denied him his attention since 2015.

I am not even going to respond. I think I now understand why he is doing that because I just notice he has been texting me since 2015 and I have never responded, so I think he is upset, he stated.

But in his latest tweet, Pappy Kojo says the beef is over after the Chief Executive Officer of Golden Empire Legacy Limited told Delay her net worth stands at $700,000,000 in an interview.

He simply tweeted: Hey @kecheglobal the beef is over, the 700 million wossop?

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Golden Empire Legacy Limited, she makes about 700 million US Dollars per year as net worth from her gold-mining-export business.

Some social media users, who chanced upon the post, couldn’t believe their eyes, wondering how the woman who was once a maid and phone dealer at Kwame Nkrumah Circle could attain such a status.

Breaking the information down to Delay, she narrated how her life changed after an encounter with one foreigner who came to Ghana to meet his lover.

Madam Gyan explained that her brother who was a taxi driver, picked a traveller to Ghana at the airport who was going to meet his blind date lover at a hotel but upon reaching the destination he realised the whole story was a scam.

The brother of the businesswoman then, quickly, arranged for the foreigner to meet his sister, who was also single by then.

I met him at Holiday Inn and I stayed there for about two years. When we got married, we bought a house at Tantra Hill. It was about a seven-bedroom house, she said.

Disclosing further, Keche Andrew’s wife said things went bad when one of her friends stabbed her in the back by breaking her apart from her husband, whom she had already started building a mining company in Ghana with.

Unfortunately, some few months after they had gotten back, the man died of diabetes, living Joana to handle what the business started.

One of my friends took the man from me. I lived with about seven to 11 girls so I moved out and left the house for them. I never went back. My husband left for about a year but he came back to me saying sorry.

He died of diabetes and we had already setup the gold company. My family is into mining and agriculture and I used to go galamsey so I knew what I was up to.

She further opened up about registering Golden Empire Legacy Limited in 2016, with the license to mine in a small and larger scale and also export the mineral abroad for business.

I had only 7,000 Ghana Cedis but I met some business partners who invested $200,000 dollars and Stanbic Bank gave me 160,000 dollars to keep up. I do about 65 million dollars every month. I have about 25 bulldozers and 20 something excavators.
