The two teams provided splendid performances to excite patrons of the 2017 edition of the Asempa FM’s ‘Fire for Fire’ Gala.
Sports enthusiasts and music lovers alike in and around Dansoman who graced the occasion could not help but fully participate in the fun-filled event.
The supporters who attended the event in their numbers also cheered on their various supporters group as they took turns to participate in football, arm wrestling, cards, eating competitions and others.
Fans of Liberty Professionals football team emerged winners of the football competition after eliminating defending champions, Hearts of Oak, in the group stages and beating GOGSU in the final game.

The ladies team from Die Hard supporters union beat Hearts of Oak ladies 5-4 in the penalty shoot-outs also to be crowned champions of the female division.
The actions of the day were crowned with performances from the fireman, Countryman Songo, Kwaw Kesse, Patapaa, Captain Planet, Dadie Opank and other artistes.

The annual event which was postponed to mourn the death of a presenter of the station, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA) would be kicking off in grand style on December 2, 2017.
Leading the charge on the day will be the ‘Fireman’, Countryman Songo.

He will be shaking the venue with sexy dancehall queen, Ebony who is fast becoming the talk of town.
The duo promise to offer more than they did in Kumasi in recent times when Songo challenged Ebony to an open dance competition.

Also performing on the day will be the ‘man insane’ Kwaw Kesse, Captain Planet, Daddie Opanka, and boxer, comedian and musician, Bukom Banku.

The array of stars have urged patrons not to expect anything lower than exciting and thrilling performances that would set the Carl Reindolf Park on fire.
There will be other surprise artistes performing on the day as well.
The event will also witness competition between various supporters groups in the country in the game of football, arm wrestling, racing and other games.
Notable sports presenters such as Kwadwo Mensah Moshosho, Enoch Kwasi Wallanyo Wallace, Eric Asiedu Boadi, Immortal Agyarkwa Acheampong, Sergio Manucho, Kobby Stone and several others.
The Fire Lady, Mavis Amanor will also be leading the adorable ladies to the gala.
