The event will take place at Akyem Oda in the Eastern Region.

Akyem Oda Agona Abusuapanin Spokesperson, Kofi Dankyira, announced this at the 40th Day observation held at Fadama in the Okaikwei Central Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

He said the decision was arrived at a meeting between the family and the deceased’s children after the family had earlier proposed October, 2023.

Mr Dankyira,speaking to Adom News, described the deceased as a hardworking man who strived so hard to make everyone in the family happy.

He said the family had indeed lost an illustrious son.

Paying tribute to his late father, Kuami Eugene thanked friends, sympathisers, and the media who have mourned with the family throughout these difficult times.

He prayed that the Lord will continue to protect everyone who has contributed in various ways since his dad’s passing.

Mr Marfo passed on in July.

The solemn ceremony took place at Abuakwa Sepaase in the Ashanti Region on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

Notable among them were the Founder and Leader of Anointed Palace Chapel Reverend Francis Kwaku Antwi aka Obofour and the founder of the Glorius Wave Chapel, Prophet Badu Kobi.

The rest were the head pastor of Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei aka Kumchacha, the General Overseer and the Founder of God’s Crown Chapel, Rev Reindolph Oduro Gyebi aka Eagle Prophet and Prophet Agya Dan, among others.

There was a loud cheer from the mourners when Reverend Obofour made a grand entry under an umbrella.

The final funeral rites of his father, James Kwadwo Bonsu, took place on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Abuakwa Sepase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Bishop Obinim, who pulled up at the funeral grounds in a Rolls Royce, first went to exchange pleasantries with family and sympathisers.

He then proceeded to file past the mortal remains of his father which had been laid in state.

Just like most of the mourners, Bishop Obinin could not hold back his tears as he pays his last respects.

Also present was Reverend Obinim’s wife, Florence Obinim, who also struggled with tears at the ceremony.

Mr Hamah died on Friday, June 11, 2021, at the Tema General Hospital, after a short illness.

The pre-burial service and filing past will take place from 7: 00 am to 8: 00 am at the Saint Paul’s Methodist Cathedral, Community One, Tema.

He will later be interred at the Agona Nyakrom Methodist Cemetery.

A thanksgiving service will be held in his honour at the Saint Paul’s Methodist Cathedral on Sunday, August 22, 2021.

He was a veteran Trade Unionist and author with three books to his credit.

Mr John Hamah and his daughter Victoria.

His books are Farewell Africa- Life and Death of Nkrumah, Too Young to Die – My Ordeal in Nsawam Condemned Cell and Dynamics of African Tyranny – A theory of the One-Party State.

He was also a recipient of two prestigious awards from the Trade Union Congress.

He was survived by a wife and five children.

Notably among them is Madam Victoria Hamah, who is a former Deputy Communications Minister and brother, Lord Hamah.

The MP’s father, Theophilius Brown Kisseh Okudzeto, was buried on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Battor Aveyime in the Volta Region.

This followed his demise on June 24, 2021, aged 74.

According to the MP, the donation made to the hospital was on the back of an announcement the family made during the funeral.

Mr Ablakwa was optimistic the donation will go a long way to help vulnerable patients in need of financial help.

The dad, Theophilus Brown Kisseh Okudzeto, passed on on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, after a short illness.

Mr Okudzeto was 74 years.

He will be laid in state at the Okudzeto and Tulasi family house at Aveyime Battor in the Volta Region.

The funeral will take place at the Aveyime Methodist School Park.
