In 2021, she was adjudged Best Rap Performance of the Year at the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), but rapper Eno Barony insists winning awards should not be the benchmark of an artiste’s success.

To her, while awards are a welcome recognition, they do not solely define an artiste’s impact, influence, or accomplishments.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz on Thursday, January 9, Eno Barony, fondly called Rap Goddess, pointed out that many talented and hardworking artistes hadn’t won any awards yet that didn’t diminish their contributions to the music industry.

“I’ve seen artistes who haven’t won awards, but their music has transformed lives, sparked meaningful conversations, and brought people together. That, to me, is the true essence of success,” she said.

Eno Barony, admired for her healthy competition in a male-dominated rap space plus captivating stage presence, has received several award nominations and won a few, including the 2021 TGMA Best Rap Performance. She repeated the feat at the 3Music Awards the same year.

However, she maintains her focus remains on creating meaningful music that resonates with her audience.

“I believe artistes, in general, sometimes face the issue of not being recognised enough for their contributions. It’s as if without being an award winner, you have no talent, and that is why I believe there should be an all-inclusive approach to recognising their efforts,” she stated.

Eno Barony, real name Ruth Nyame Adom, who is currently promoting her latest album, No Manual, expressed excitement over its success.

Checks by Graphic Showbiz indicate the album has recorded over 6 million streams on Audiomack since its release on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

“My fans love tracks such as Soja Go Soja Come featuring King Paluta, Calabash featuring Fuse ODG, and Street Love featuring Jay Bahd. The love and support have been incredible, and I’m so grateful to the producers and collaborators who made this project possible.”

“I wanted to try something different this time. Collaborating with amazing artistes such as King Paluta, Fuse ODG, Jay Bahd, and Amerado allowed me to create diverse musical stories. Their unique styles added a fresh flavour to the album,” she explained.

Eno Barony hit the limelight in 2014 when she released Tonga, which received commercial airplay.

She later recorded Megye Wo Boy in 2015, collaborating with Abrewa Nana, which enhanced her name on the music scene at the time.

Eno Barony recounts her proud music journey, highlighting her achievements, particularly in 2024, including the release of No Manual and hosting the second edition of her annual Eid Concert in Koforidua.

As the daughter of a pastor, the expectation was that, she would join the church choir and make her dad proud.

But Eno opted to follow her dream to be the best female rapper in Ghana.

She then went for a rap competition and her segment was aired on TV to the admiration of her mother and siblings.

But her father was not enthused and lashed her for violating the house rules.

“It was a Saturday morning, so, at 5 pm, he sat and watched me perform. After that, I was reprimanded because I was a reverend minister’s daughter and I went to do rap music wearing a short skirt,” she recounted in an interview on Accra-based Citi TV.

But now, Eno said her father has accepted her craft and is very proud of her celebrity status.

“My dad will still tell you Jesus is the only celebrity I know” she added.

Eno Barony stands against gender-based limitations https://www.adomonline.com/eno-barony-stands-against-gender-based-limitations/ Sat, 30 Dec 2023 23:07:20 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2329699 Renowned Ghanaian rapper, Eno Barony has tackled the issue of gender limitations within the music space in Ghana.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, Eno argued that, women put in double the effort than men for recognition in the same field.

“Every woman who finds herself in a male-dominated area has to work a thousand times harder and not just female rappers. They, call it a man’s world and so no matter how good you are, that thing that ‘she is a girl what can she do’ is always there so you need to keep proving yourself” she said.

Eno believes that, more support for women in the industry could help change the narrative.

“I don’t think the narrative will ever change, we should support ourselves more because women create more employment in the industry. I don’t think the support should just come from the industry, even the government should be part of the support. Women supporting women shouldn’t be just about musicians supporting musicians but it should be everywhere.” She said.

Eno Barony out-rapped me the first time we met on a radio station – M.anifest https://www.adomonline.com/eno-barony-out-rapped-me-the-first-time-we-met-on-a-radio-station-m-anifest/ Sat, 15 Apr 2023 17:58:22 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2239802 Musician M.anifest says he was surprised at the rapping skills of his female colleague, Eno Barony when they first met on a radio station.

He explained that Eno Barony out-rapped him when they were given the floor to exhibit their rap talent.

“I remember the first time I was on the radio station with her when I saw her, she out-rapped me, I was like ‘oh my goodness, who is this one?’” he said in an interview with the BBC.

He described the presence of Eno Barony in the music space as the “breaking of the glass ceiling moment.”

Commenting on male dominants in the Ghana music industry, rapper M.anifest said the industry is still sexist, thus preventing a lot of women from joining the industry.

He explained that it is difficult for women to operate in the industry, adding they are unable to do some of the things their male counterparts have the privilege of doing.

“The truth about why there aren’t many women involved in hiplife and in the music space is that the space unfortunately is still quite sexist.

“It is difficult for a woman to operate in these spaces, whether it is as simple as night sessions in the studio,” M.anifest said.

M.anifest noted that every successful music scene in the world is flooded with women, adding “So, if we want to succeed, bring the gals dem[sic].”

However, Eno Barony who also spoke to BBC in an interview revealed that she was dealing with some insecurities because many people questioned her weight following her break into the music industry.

Eno Barony said it was deemed as if her weight had an influence on the music she makes.

“When I came into the music scene, I never saw girls my size. Most of the girls I was seeing were, let me say skinnier.

“People were talking about my image so much. Why are you like this? Why are you not going to look like this, and stuff? So it was bothering me.

The rapper said that she grew to be confident despite comments and criticisms about her weight.

“When I accepted myself for who I am, I did a song called ‘Heavy Load’, and I realised oh, I have fans who are just like me and are looking up to me, the way I dress, everything I do,” she said,

Eno Barony who was optimistic about women succeeding in the music scene added that “So if you see a woman doing anything male-dominated, you don’t doubt it.”

Eno Barony reacts to VGMA snub https://www.adomonline.com/eno-barony-on-vgma-snub/ Fri, 24 Mar 2023 14:52:04 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2232295 Rapper Eno Barony has questioned the board of directors of Charterhouse, organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, after she received no nomination for this year’s edition.

Since she found her feet in music, Eno has received nominations and awards at every VGMA awards night, leaving her to wonder what she could have done wrong to be snubbed this year.

The nominations were announced about a week ago, and despite submitting two of her hit songs, Don’t Judge Me and Finish Line, she did not fall in any of the about 20 categories.

According to Eno, she had hopes of being nominated for the Best Rapper/song and Best Hip Hop artiste/song, which are obvious categories she would have won in because they fall in her genre.

“I think the names of my song Don’t Judge Me played a role because I said they shouldn’t judge me and they didn’t so they took me out,” she made jest of the situation in an interview with Doreen Avio on Hitz FM.

“My songs have done very well in the year under review. Check the online charts, my songs have topped almost everywhere”.

Ordinarily, Eno would not voiced out her displeasure, but she said being vocal is needed in the battle for herself as well as other female rappers.

She opined that it is a shame no female rapper is representing in this year’s award.

That notwithstanding, the ‘Heavy Load’ composer said her management has reached out to the board but they are just to be given a feedback.

Despite the disappointment, Eno assured to work harder for her works to be recognised in next year’s edition.

“Awards don’t define me; Eno will still be Eno. It hurts because I have worked and I deserve to be recognised but in all, we work harder”.

I kept my rap career a secret from my parents until I couldn’t any longer – Eno Barony https://www.adomonline.com/i-kept-my-rap-career-a-secret-from-my-parents-until-i-couldnt-any-longer-eno-barony/ Sat, 19 Nov 2022 15:55:38 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2185807 Ghana’s rap goddess, Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwa Nyame Adom, popularly known as “Eno Barony,” has opened up about how she had to hide her career from her parents until she could not anymore.

Speaking in an interview with Asieduwaa Akumia on Prime Morning, on Friday, she indicated that it was difficult disclosing her career breakthrough to her parents, as they never wanted her to involve herself in secular activities.

Born into a Christian home, she indicated that listening to gospel songs was the only alternative, as her father did not condone secular activities. According to her, the circumstances in which she found herself made it difficult for her to open up to her parents after discovering her talent.

“Even boys who want to do rap find it difficult to convince their parents, especially responsible ones, to talk less of a girl who wants to do rap. ‘What will a girl be doing hip-hop for?’ is what they used to say. So I was hiding it in the beginning, and I hid it to the point that I couldn’t hide it any more, because I was on TV, and I was everywhere,” she said.

She further recounted how she had to run away from home just so she could pursue her career, as her parents were not happy with her kind of talent.

Being the first female rapper to win Rapper of the Year at the 3Music Awards in 2021, Eno Barony revealed that she discovered the skill at age 14.

When asked how the relationship with her father is, she said, “we are cool.”

She promised her father she would never venture into music to enable her to focus on her studies, and her parents became angry at her change of mind. This, she said, stemmed from the feud between her parents and herself.

But she revealed that her father currently supports her music through prayers, as she is not dragging her family’s name through the mud.

Born to a pastor, she stated that her picture was put before the church and prayed against her kind of talent, as they believed it is not from God.

Speaking to Asieduwaa Akumia on Prime Morning, on Friday, she indicated that her church members thought her music is demonic. They believed she was possessed.

“I remember they put my picture in the church and prayed over it that my music shouldn’t work and nothing should work for me,” she said.

When asked about her relationship with her father, she stated that “we’re cool, though in the beginning it wasn’t easy.”

The hip-hop rapper went on to reveal how she ran away from home to be able to establish her music career.

She said, “I was hiding it in the beginning. I hid it to the point that I couldn’t hide it anymore because I’m on TV and everywhere, and it became an issue. I had to run away from the house.”

Though she could not listen to secular music at home, she had the ambition to become a rapper.

The rap goddess affirmed that her music career was inspired by Abrewa Nana and Mzbel.

She urged the public to stop judging the secular musicians by their appearance, saying everyone is different in their own way.

She took over the podium to give a powerful rendition of Christiana Love, now Obaapa Christy’s Beko Mame and the audiences could relate with her testimony of praise.

Clad in a decent pink two-piece suit wear, she was accompanied by some instrumentalists who played her a soft tune to complement her melodious voice.

Media personality Gifty Anti and other pious Christians approached the altar to applaud the songstress for going out of her comfortable zone to offer ministration to God.

Posting snippets of the performance on her social media pages, she added that the song is a prayer she is offering for her fans.

Medikal lauds Eno Barony for her rap prowess https://www.adomonline.com/medikal-lauds-eno-barony-for-her-rap-prowess/ Tue, 25 Oct 2022 13:08:10 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2175646 Rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, has admitted that rapper Eno Barony is on top of her game when it comes to rap.

According to him, her dexterity, composition, choice of words and wordplay among other elements when it comes to doing music are extraordinary.

He made this comment during an interview with blogger and music critic Kwadwo Sheldon on a recent show.

Medikal was asked to mention names of rappers tied to bars that were being mentioned to him, and he was basically impressed by the fact that most of the dope lyrics that stemmed out were composed by her.

Other names that popped out frequently were the likes of Strongman, Kofi Mole and M.anifest among other noteworthy musicians.

Interestingly, it is quite surprising for Medikal to rain showers on the rap goddess, since they haven’t been in good terms in the past.

After Sista Afia dropped her WMT song months back to jab Eno Barony, the latter alleged Medikal was the Jeje hitmaker’s ghostwriter.

Eno Barony proceeded to slam Medikal in a subsequent song titled ‘Argument Done‘, but the rapper denied the allegations and further called Eno Barony a corpse.

After several turnouts on social media, the duo called it a truce, with Medikal admitting later that it was all planned for hype.

Meanwhile, Medikal is currently promoting his new song dubbed “Scarface”.

Don’t be scared to feature me – Eno Barony to rappers https://www.adomonline.com/dont-be-scared-to-feature-me-eno-barony-to-rappers/ Sun, 15 May 2022 17:20:12 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2114743 Rapper, Eno Barony has begged her colleague rappers in the industry not to be scared to feature her in their songs.

In an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, the winner for Best Rap Performance at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards said she hardly does a lot of features because fans try to pitch her against colleague rappers and make it seem as if they are scared of her.

She narrated that featuring someone on a song should not be seen as a competition, rather, it should be perceived as a platform to showcase each other’s rap prowess

“Please don’t be scared to feature me. I heard people are afraid to feature me. When we are doing the song, we are not there to kill each other. We are there to collaborate and make good music.”

According to Eno Barony, anytime she does a feature with a female artist, there’s no problem, but when it is with a male rapper, people tend to have different connotations about it.

“Anytime I do a feature with girls, it’s normal, but when I do a feature with a guy, then it becomes something else. When two rappers are on a song it’s like you’re putting your life on the line; you can be killed at any time.”

Eno Barony partly blames the fans for making it difficult for her to get features.

The rapper who is currently promoting her new song featuring Amerado is hoping to land a feature with American award-winning rapper, Kendrick Lamar, who is rumoured to be in Ghana.

She begged the fans to stop scaring rappers from collaborating with her on their songs.

“The fans are making it difficult for me to get the features. Please stop doing that.”

Some years back, she said she received a vision from a prophetess who claimed her action led to the demise of Major Maxwell Mahama.

She tweeted that she was informed by the said prophetess that bringing a coffin as a stage prop during the Ghana Meets Naija in 2017 was responsible for the late soldier’s death.

The prophetess told her that her scary ‘death and resurrections’ performance which made headlines for weeks was the cause of the Denkyira-Obuasi lynching which took place a day after her performance on May 29, 2017.

Her disclosure comes amid growing concerns about prophecies of doom from self-styled ‘Men of God’.

It also comes at the time discussions are ongoing about a prophecy that claimed dancehall musician Shatta Wale was going to die on October 18, 2021.

Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah alias Jesus Ahuofe, who gave the prophecy, has since been arrested with Shatta Wale who wanted to make light the situation, landing himself in trouble.

That attempt has since gotten him and his two colleagues, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif and Eric Venator, remanded into police custody.

The trio had engaged in a shooting prank that left Ghanaians worried.

Though much has been heard of Eno in the music fraternity; and some fans can sing her songs word for word, they have been kept in the dark on key details of the rapper’s family.

The member of the Amankwah Nyame Adom family disclosed on Adom TV’s Ahosepe Xtra that most of her relations are deaf and dumb.

She made the revelation when asked by host Sister Sandy what her biggest fear in life is.

Eno made it public that her fear has always been losing her voice, since she is one of the few who has been blessed in her family.

She stated that despite their hearing impediment, her relatives are musically intelligent, and can dance perfectly on beat timings, despite not hearing any rhythm.

Rapper Eno Barony has dismissed reports that her new song ‘Ay3 Ka’ is a politically motivated song.

The song was released after Nana Akufo-Addo was declared the winner of the 2020 general elections thus people have linked it to the country’s political atmosphere.

It had lyrics like “stop fooling Nana is here” lyrics that many people say were shots thrown at the NDC after their flagbearer John Mahama lost the presidency.

Also, in the visuals, Ay3 Ka is written across the colours red, blue and white – the colours in the governing NPP.

However, Eno Barony told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz that her words were picked from an old Akan saying and not a jab to any party or person.

The rapper explained she was only reiterating the adage that urges young people to listen to the elderly.

She added that “Nana” in the song refers to an old lady.

Eno Barony said she believes having songs with in-depth meanings have influenced her fans to go beyond the surface anytime she releases a song.

As the world has hieghtened the conversation on sexual assault and its related activities, more women, typically celebrities are opening up on their ordeal.

Self-acclaimed best rapper in Ghana, Eno Barony, has revealed her ‘swaggerlicious and tomboy’ nature did not excuse her from being a victim of near-rape.

Narrating her ordeal on Hitz FM, Friday, the ‘Fear no man’ hitmaker said the attempted rapist is an artiste who is ‘out there’, hence she refused to mention a name.

Her desire to collaborate with the popular artiste made her agree to come for a late night studio session, after he insisted an afternoon session is almost impossible considering his status and busy schedule.

Eno said she accepted the invitation, and in the first couple of minutes in the studio, she received warm reception.

“We discussed the studio so he picked me at the junction because then I had no car and we went there. He gave me food, then we were cool so I ate,” Eno recounted.

After her meal, Eno said she was offered gum, which she declined because it was too late, but the artiste insisted she chews before their session.

When her refusal became persistant, Eno added, the artiste became charged and pounced on her with the intention of forcing the gum in between her teeth.

The artiste’s attitude, she learnt was because he had laced the gum with a sexual stimulant after he himself had already used an aphrodisiac.

Sensing danger, she fought back with her last strength to ensure her sexual life was intact, thereby overpowering him in the end.

He said judging from the two artistes’ exploits in the year under review, he saw no reason why anyone should have won the catergory they were nominated.

King Promise had three nominations on the night; Highlife Artist of the Year, Afrobeats song of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year – while Eno Barony was nominated for the Hip-Pop Song of the Year and Best Rapper of the Year.

#VGMA21: Eno Barony deserved Best Rapper of the Year not Kwesi Arthur – Mr Logic [Video] https://www.adomonline.com/vgma21-eno-barony-deserved-best-rapper-of-the-year-not-kwesi-arthur-mr-logic-video/ Mon, 31 Aug 2020 20:15:09 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1847618 Entertainment critic, Emmanuel Barnes, popularly known as Mr Logic, says rapper Kwesi Arthur didn’t deserve to be crowned Best Rapper of the Year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2020.

According to him, though the Tema based rapper is talented, his works under the VGMA’s 2020 calendar doesn’t tally with the award.

Kwesi Arthur emerged winner in a tough category which included E.L, Strongman, Medikal, Sarkodie, Teephlow and Eno Barony.

I am disappointed in the selection. I am not saying Kwesi Arthur doesn’t deserve to win. Eno has overworked… why are we discouraging? he quizzed on Daybreak Hitz show on Monday.

Lets go into the song and look at the brand as the rapper. Its about time they review the category definition. A rapper should be someone who goes toe to toe. Take your time and listen to Eno. I feel that award schemes should stop this, Mr Logic fumed.

MORE:

I am not speaking as a PR but it hurts. The whole street of Accra was expecting a win for Eno and I don’t know why they will deny her good songs. Kwesi Arthur for sometime now, let me now sound fair, he hasn’t been a rap advocate. He is a good rapper but he hasn’t been rapping for sometime now.

I know about Grind Day, he hasn’t been active in the rap area for sometime now. I was thinking VGMA will give Eno what she is due. I have learnt to control my hope about VGMA expectations, he added.

The song, described as a quickie by many social media lovers, talks about how she was “snubbed” just two days ago when she was nominated for Best Rapper of the Year category.

On the awards night, she was tagged by many as the best performer when she appeared on the podium with a wild-fire performance cementing her rap prowess in the music industry.

Engulfed with the energy that she could win the Best Rapper of the Year, the award swerved her and the likes of Sarkodie, Strongman, Medikal, Teephlow, when Kwesi Arthur got announced as the winner.

Feeling disappointed, the female musician has dropped a new song dubbed ‘Game of Thrones’ to prove she is on top.

MORE:

You should put an umbrella over my head and make all these bloggers my linguists. Tell my people that I am already reigning in the hearts of my followers. With the award, if you give it to me, I will take it, but if you don’t, I am still in the game [SIC], part of her lyrics said.

According to her, the best rapper in Ghana now is a female.

We fighting for the throne, but you already know who the King is. Four minutes into the show and the whole world talks about how the lady killed it.

Four bars ‘kraa’ you go feel me. No disrespect to no rapper but King of rap in Ghana now is a female. This is what we call a bitter truth and to accept it e go hard for you.

Addressing the VGMA snub, she likened it to a football match, thus: The referee says it’s a foul not a goal so what do I have to say? I am an icon and I don’t need to blow my own horns. If you say you are the best then who am I? she queried.

Medikal says he sees nothing wrong with his description of Eno because it’s social media where people say worse things to his wife, Fella Makafui.

The AMG rapper explaining his reason for calling Eno “a corpse” said there is no reason [smoke] without fire and I said what I said because I was in my feelings.

The duo have been throwing indirect shots at each other after Sista Afia dropped her WMT song, which jabbed Eno Barony.

Sista Afia’s salvo perhaps pushed Eno Barony to allege that a Sowutuom rapper was the ghost writer who wrote the lyrics for the Jeje singer.

In a recent interview, Medikal said he knew Eno was talking about him because he is the only top rapper in Sowutuom.

I won’t just say something; there is no smoke without fire; I said what I said because I was in my feelings. I do not have any apology.

I don’t regret saying she is a corpse. People who love me love me. I cannot force people to love me. People call Fella worse things than that. I don’t even wanna talk about it.

Dadie Opanka slams Bulldog as he wades into female musicians’ beef [Watch] https://www.adomonline.com/dadie-opanka-slams-bulldog-as-he-wades-into-female-musicians-beef-watch/ Wed, 20 May 2020 11:48:21 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1797236 Ghanaian rapper, Dadie Opanka, has urged musicians to preach togetherness rather than fuel ‘unnecessary’ competition in the industry.

He explained ‘beefs’ are inevitable but when they surface, they should be left to only the key parties to settle their differences.

“Ghanaians focus too much on negativity rather than preaching togetherness. If people are beefing there is no need to choose favourites just let them do their own thing. It is not necessary to even talk of it in the first place,” he said in an interview with Adom News.

He said ‘beefing’ female musicians have talents which should be promoted because every other negative statement breeds hatred.

His comments follow artiste manager, Bulldog’s statement that he can put GH¢50,000 on rapper Eno Barony to beat any male musician in a lyrical war.

Dadie Opanka, who admitted Eno Barony is a good rapper, however, disagreed with Bulldog, saying “in our cultural setting a man will always win against the opposite gender.”

Medikal jabbed Eno Barony after she dropped a song dubbed ‘Argument Done’, which attacked the alleged ghostwriter of singer-turned-rapper Sista Afia.

According to deductions made by some social media users, Eno Barony was referring to Medikal as the said ghostwriter.

But though Sista Afia debunked such rumours, Medikal has come out to lash the ‘Heavy Load’ musician.

Don’t ever think I will waste time recording a diss track to a female rapper, especially when the person looks like corpse. Issa dead tin. [SIC]

In no time, Eno Barony has also replied the rapper with the following words:

MORE:

I appreciate u doing a verse for me way back and I have never disrespected u in any way nor for clout chasing I only sent out words to the ghost writer and unless u are the ghost writer u can’t feel disrespected. Understand my lyrics first Mr. best rapper. #RapGoddess.

I understand you saying you never took a penny. Cuz what I gave you back then compared to now was actually a penny. NO BE TODAY I BE #CORPSE BRO I WAS BORN #DEAD. SO #YOU CAN’T KILL ME [SIC].

I’m really shocked Eno Barony disrespected me after helping her – Medikal https://www.adomonline.com/im-really-shocked-eno-barony-disrespected-me-after-helping-her-medikal/ Tue, 12 May 2020 15:23:12 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1793098 Rapper Medikal says he never expected female rapper Eno Barony to throw shots at him in her latest ‘diss’ song to colleague musician Sista Afia.

The two female rappers have been engaged in throwing jabs at each other in an attempt to prove their prowess but one thing that brought Medikal into the picture was when Eno Barony mentioned him as the ghostwriter for Sista Afia.

The statement didn’t sit well with Medikal, especially when Eno Barony added that, it is Medikal she is even looking for to battle out.

Taking to Twitter to react to the ongoing scuffle, Medikal’s gesture proved he was disappointed at the ‘Heavy’ Load hitmaker.

MORE:

He said:

Four years ago Eno linked up for a feature, gave her a verse and pulled up to shoot the video when called without charging a penny, never expected her to disrespect me in anyway, especially when I haven’t wronged you. This is why people don’t do good sometimes I guess.

You could have linked up again after all those years for another verse cuz I am hotter than I was back then ! But no, Human being, you would rather put dirt on my name for clout than get a hit song you can chop from.

So this is what’s gonna happen, you will probably do couple of ‘diss’ songs and direct them to me, and as we all know, Ghanaians will hail you and mock me to make you believe you are the bomb, whiles they still Jam to my music in their homes and parties.

The tweets didn’t end there as he initially opened up the thread with this:

This follows a rap feud between Sista Afia and Eno Barony, where the two female rappers went head-to-head to settle on who is the rap queen.

Eno Barony’s reply to Sista Afia on her ‘Argument’ track, according to some entertainment fanatics, mentioned Medikal as a ghostwriter feeding Sista Afia with lyrics.

Sista Afia, meanwhile, came out to address those rumours, saying Medikal knew nothing about it.

MORE:

Just when Ghanaians thought the issue had settled, Medikal has added salt to injury.

In series of tweets, he said the female rapper could’ve taken advantage of the fact that he is a better rapper now to collaborate on a song but instead she chose to battle him for nothing.

To his fans, the Omo Ada hitmaker said:
