Sarkodie shared snippet of a video shoot with colleague Black Sherif for their collaboration, Countryside, but little did he know it would earn him drags from none other than the self-acclaimed fashion police.

While tens of thousands of followers liked the entire concept and props which include the outfits, Elikem said he believes Sarkodie’s tailor could have done better.

Not only did he leave a comment under the rapper’s post, Elikem addressed his sentiments on his timeline, giving reasons behind his negative opinion.

He highlighted some parts of the two-piece outfit he argued were shabbily done, based on his professional eye.

According to the tailor, Sarkodie’s brand is too expensive to allow a bad tailor disappoint him.

He further stated that “Still got love for your talent bro, but your tailor no try. Let me hook you up with something fresh next time. Other African tailors will disappoint you, except Elikem KUMORDZIE “the tailor”.

Ghanaians, in reaction, jumped to Sarkodie’s defense and casted the ‘clout chasing’ spirit out Elikem.

They described his post as insensitive and bad marketing, especially as he could have sent Sarkodie a private message to initiate a business move.

Almost 8,000 Ghanaians including celebrities and his own friends have left messages in his comment section to bring him to order.

In a post apologizing to his fans on why he was not present at Star FM, Elikem the tailor said agreements were sealed for him to grace the show, but he had a call last minute to not show up.

Per information he received, Elikem alleged the manager of the station indicated his hands are tied as the decision is “an order from above”.

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, most of you know that I was supposed to be on Star FM to have an interview at 7p.m but it has been cancelled, why? I’m not too sure, but I got a call from Ollah himself and another manager guy talking about the show is cancelled, the manager guy said to me he got a phone call from the top that we cannot go ahead with the show, he apologized greatly, and so I apologize to you as well. I’m totally dumbfounded, I’m shocked, I don’t know what to say.”

Elikem believes the cancellation is a means of gagging him from speaking on the national issues in Zimbabwe, after he was lashed out for a comment he had earlier made.

However, he defended that the interview was solely to sell himself and his brand, adding that he had no plans of speaking on anything concerning the Zimbabwe country.

He indicated he is “angry and dumbfounded” by the incident.

Kurmodzie recently landed in the country to spend the festive season with his son Tristan.

Kurmodzie shares a son with popular Zimbabwean socialite, Pokello Nare, whom he married and divorced.

In his latest post on Instagram to wish her a happy birthday on August 24, Mr Kumordzie admitted he slacked, adding that, he is so sorry for not holding their union down when it mattered the most.

I’d like to seize the opportunity to render an apology to you for not consciously holding us down. I slacked a lot and I’m sorry.

According to him, he finds himself swimming in joy anytime he sets his eyes on the son they had together.

Another thing that caught the attention of many were the words attached to the photo he shared which were: By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you will be happy; If you get a bad wife you will become a philosopher.

The ex-reality stars met during Season 8 of Big Brother Africa (The Chase) in 2013.

In 2014, he proposed to her on the stage of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards when they were called to present an award and subsequently they got married in June 2015, in a close ceremony in Zimbabwe, her hometown.

But less than two years after they tied the knot, their marriage hit the rocks.

The actor shared visuals of his fun times when he was dressed in safety apparels and pushed off the edge of a mountain.

Contrary to the screams and anxiety first-timers feel, he leaped with joy and flew above ground level.

To prove he was fully prepared for the trip, he recorded the whole show and was connected with his fans while floating mid-air.

He was super excited to fly past the vegetation in the zone and to watch his tiny shadow beneath him.

“Wow, I’m flying, I’m that guy, I’m on top of the world. I’ll do this again,” he could be heard chanting amid laughter.

The duo are turning heads with their lovely kente wedding-themed visuals which have left many confused.

Though the visuals were to give fans a glimpse of their new fashion collection, they were captured in an all-loved up moment.

The video Miss Mumin posted on her Instagram page saw her in a beautiful dress made from colourful kente cloth with purple designs.

Mr Kumordzie also wore a beautiful kaftan-like outfit designed with the same kente used by Salma.

The video captured the 63-year-old woman brisk-walking like a teenager in her neighbourhood as Elikem drove in a car behind.

He hilariously quizzed what his mum was doing and she replied, saying she was doing exactly what her son required to keep fit.

Elikem took to Instagram to share the video he captioned “she is awesome and her Cambo killed me.”

Elikem, taking to Instagram to share the photos, wrote: “Somebody tag her. Tell her I miss her. Tell her we need to link up, drink up and — — up. Fill the blank space.”

Though the photos were to announce their partnerships in a clothing line business, many fans upon sighting the photos have translated them to be the ringing of wedding bells.

His quarantine comes at the back of his flight return from South Africa after President Nana Akufo-Addo had issued a travel ban.

Upon his panic return, his was subjected to government’s quarantine, a situation he commended the government for.

However, just two days in isolation, Mr Kumordzie has encountered a room full of challenges from the hotel management, making him sick with worry.

“I am upset they put the breakfast on the floor, I mean the bare floor and it didn’t make sense to me.

“It is as if people and those who work in the hotel want to discriminate against you yet they are the ones who will probably give you the virus,” he lamented in a lengthy Instagram post.

He revealed that the whole quarantine makes him scared and put him in a state of paranoia. He urged Ghanaians to stay safe as the outbreak intensifies.

Mr Kumordzi, though yet to receive results for his coronavirus test, disclosed he had been experiencing some flu-like symptoms even before arriving in the country.

“I’ve been feeling a little funny here and there; I’ve had a headache, sneezed while in South Africa two to three days ago,” he confessed.

He counselled that, actors should focus on getting other streams of income rather than chasing producers for money.

His comments come at a time when a number of actors have made public claims of not being paid by movie producers.

Most recent of them was Kofi Adjorlolo who told JoyNews he is owed various sums by seven Ghanaian movie producers while he needed money urgently.

In the video, a visibly angry Kofi Adjorlolo complained bitterly about how he was in dire need of money while producers were keeping his money.

On the contrary, Elikem recounted how he picked himself up and moved on when he never received payments for the roles he played in some movies.

Mr Kumordzie expressed his opinion in an Instagram post captioned “Letter to my Fellow Actors. STOP complaining. leave the producers alone to find a day job. and see who they will shoot with”.

Meanwhile, he has been under heavy criticism and has suffered a severe backlash from a number of actors following his post.

Following Adjorlolo’s public outcry, he has been called by the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) to apologise or face possible sanctions.

Although Movie producer, Ola Michael has condemned the assertions of Kofi, actors such as Yvonne Nelson, Kisa Gbekle and Comedian DKB have supported the claims made by Adjorlolo.

The show, which started on June 17 this year, has succeeded in making stars out of seamstresses and tailors who were hitherto unknown.

The competition, which started with 12 contestants – Dorcas Tane, Bernice Amu, Mark Arthur, Sally Dede Armah, Mabel Agyeman, Cynthia Asemaku, Rita Offei, Grace Sarkodie,  Elikem Godwin Klagbo, Sarah Sackey, Chris Anokye Amankwa and Ishmael Armatiefio has whittled down the numbers to four.

Below, adomonline.com, which has been following the show week-in-week-out, has gone down memory lane to take readers through every happening since the show started.

Week 1:  Contestants were tasked to sew corporate event attire. There were no eviction and no declaration of the best designer for the week.

Week 2: Contestants were tasked to design a Traditional wedding outfit. There were no evictions for the week. Contestant Elikem Godwin Klagbo was adjudged best designer for the week.

Week 3: Contestants were tasked to design outfits for a national durbar. Week three witnessed the first-ever eviction with Sarah Sackey being the unfortunate victim. The best designer for the week went to contestant Mark Arthur.

Week 4: Contestants were assigned to celebrities and tasked to design outfits to fit their styles or persons. The week witnessed the show’s second eviction and this time, it was designer, Cynthia Asemaku, who fell on the wrong side of the dagger. The best designer for the week went to contestant Rita Offei.

Week 5: Contestants were tasked to sew couture (design and manufacture of fashionable clothes to a client’s specific requirements and measurements). The week witnessed the third eviction with Ishmael Armatiefio going out of the competition. Dorcas Tane was adjudged the week’s best designer.

Week 6: Contestants were tasked to design urban carnival street attires. Week six witnessed the show’s fourth eviction where the previous week’s best designer Dorcas Tane was evicted as Rita Offei was declared best designer for the week.

Week 7:  Contestants were tasked to refurbish wedding dresses with GTP fabrics. The week witnessed its first odd moment where Chris Anokye Amankwa was adjudged the best designer for the week was at the same time, evicted.

Week 8: Contestants were tasked to produce a dress for a farmer for a farmer’s day event, eviction free Chris Amankwa was called back into the competition, best designer Elikem Klagbo.

Week 9:  Contestants were tasked to produce a futuristic attire. The sixth eviction of the show happened with Sally Dede Armah going home as Bernice Amu was declared the best designer for the week.

Week 10: Contestant were tasked to sew beach wears for plus size models. The seventh eviction took place with designer Mark Arthur exiting the show even though he was declared the best designer of the week.

Week 11: Contestants were tasked to produce children collection. It was the week for the eighth eviction as Rita Offei was evicted and contestant Grace Sarkodie was adjudged best designer for the week.

Week 12: Contestants were tasked to design surprise birthday attires for chosen public figures who are 60 years and beyond. The week witnessed no evictions but designer Grace Sarkodie was declared the best for the week.

Week 13: The show was taken to the Rawlings Park where there was a fashion runway show. There were neither an eviction nor a best designer.

The competition has entered the 14^th week with the final four contestants battling it out for the ultimate prize.

The Grand finale of the show is slated for Sunday 29th September 2019 at the Mikado Conference Centre.

The winner of the show will go home with 5,000 Ghana cedis, a container shop, five industrial machines, a tablet and souvenirs from sponsors.

The 1st runner up will go home with three industrial sewing machines, 3,000 Ghana cedis, a tablet and souvenirs from sponsors.

The 2nd runner up will take home one industrial sewing machine, 1,500 Ghana Cedis, a tablet and souvenirs.

The 3rd runner up gets 1,500 Ghana Cedis, a tablet and souvenirs.

All eight evicteeS will also get a 1000 Ghana cedis each. –
