Shortly after Samuel Aboagye’s death, rumors circulated that his wife had refused to present their child for DNA testing, which was intended to assist in identifying Aboagye’s body.

This fueled speculation that the child might not be his. Later, reports emerged claiming the DNA test had been completed and that Aboagye’s wife had been vindicated.

However, Nana Dwamena Kwabena Yiakwan II, brother of the deceased, told Adom News that the family has not undertaken any DNA test and that the circulating reports are false.

He expressed surprise at the rumors and emphasized that the family has no one to suspect for spreading such claims.

He further noted that a court ruling scheduled for December 23, 2025, will determine the next steps.

“The DNA test will only be conducted after the court proceedings. All current media speculations are unfounded,” he added.

Obra Show: Family mocks potency of man to father four children; DNA results exclude him as father of two https://www.adomonline.com/obra-show-family-mocks-potency-of-man-to-father-four-children-dna-results-exclude-him-as-father-of-two/ Tue, 29 Jul 2025 07:59:31 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2560806 The long-awaited DNA results in the Ocran family saga have delivered a shocking twist: Robert Ocran, who has been married for over 28 years and raised four children with his wife, is not the biological father of two of them.

This revelation follows weeks of emotional confessions and heated debate aired on the popular Obra Show on Nhyira FM, where Robert first publicly demanded a paternity test.

He said he was compelled to do so after enduring years of suspicion and damaging comments from his wife’s family suggesting he is impotent.

“I really needed the DNA test because I strongly felt my wife had been unfaithful for a long time,” Robert said. “She goes to braid her hair and comes home at midnight.”

According to him, the situation intensified after he began receiving threatening calls from an unknown number, warning him ominously to “wait and see what will happen.”

The DNA results has confirmed that Robert is not the biological father of his eldest child—now about 30 years old—and his second-to-last born.

However, a 14-year-old child he fathered outside the marriage was confirmed to be biologically his, contradicting his wife’s claims that he was impotent.

Robert’s wife has since rejected the results and all allegations made against her but offered no concrete evidence to support her stance.

In response to the findings, she simply said, “I don’t believe these results.”

Earlier on the show, she explained that shortly after their marriage, Robert was diagnosed with a low sperm count, prompting them to seek spiritual intervention.

She claimed that it was only through that spiritual help that she was able to conceive. However, Robert maintains that his wife’s questionable behavior —like coming home at odd hours — and the persistent doubts raised by her family gave him reason to question the paternity of all four children.

The couple’s turbulent history was laid bare on Obra. Robert admitted to cheating multiple times, justifying it with suspicions of his wife’s own infidelity.

His wife, on the other hand, accused him of bringing other women into their matrimonial home, but said she remained silent out of respect for the marriage.

Commentators on the show offered mixed reactions. Gifty Donkor, popularly known as Big Mama, stated that the woman’s family may have played a role in undermining the relationship. “Considering the serious nature of the allegations, it’s difficult to completely dismiss Robert’s suspicions,” she said.

Evangelist Degraft Addae, however, criticized Robert for his infidelity and for publicly embarrassing his wife. “You disrespected your wife—you slept around, fathered a child outside the marriage, and now you’re humiliating her over family rumours,” he stated.

Before the results were announced, show host Ohemaa Benewaa had asked Robert what he hoped to gain from the DNA test. He responded, “My conscience will be cleared, and I’ll focus on the children’s future. I didn’t do this to disgrace her—it’s what her family said that pushed me to this point. But if the results show I’m not the father, then I’ll know what to do.”

Now that the truth is out, the emotional and legal repercussions for the Ocran family are just beginning.

Ohemaa Benewaa concluded, “This case is a painful reminder of what mistrust, infidelity, and external interference can do to a family. But more importantly, it shows the importance of seeking truth and resolution. Join us every weekday on The Obra Show on Nhyira FM, where real people share real stories—and sometimes, find real answers.”

With a calm but firm voice, she added, “Until tomorrow, this case is adjourned.”

Obra Show: Man demands DNA test for four children after wife’s family questioned his potency https://www.adomonline.com/obra-show-man-demands-dna-test-for-four-children-after-wifes-family-questioned-his-potency/ Tue, 08 Jul 2025 15:49:50 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2552878 A paternity dispute has sparked heated debate on the popular Obra Show on Nhyira Fm, as Robert Ocran, a man married for over 28 years with three children, demands a DNA test to confirm whether he is their biological father.

Robert revealed that due to challenges in the marriage, he fathered a child with another woman – a child who is now 14 years old.

According to him, he was compelled to present this child publicly after his wife’s family allegedly spread rumours that he is impotent and not the father of the children he raised.

He explained that both the family’s accusations and his wife’s recent unusual behaviour — including an incident where she returned home at 2 a.m. after going out to braid her hair — pushed him to seek the DNA test.

On the show, Robert admitted to cheating on his wife multiple times, justifying his actions by saying he suspected her of being unfaithful. “She once came home at 2 a.m. after braiding her hair. Since then, I’ve had strong doubts that any of the children are mine,” he stated.

In response, his wife admitted to coming home late that night but denied any wrongdoing. She revealed that shortly after their marriage, Robert was diagnosed of low sperm count, which led them to seek spiritual help.

According to her, she conceived after seeking spiritual help. However, her aunt — who initially introduced them to the church — allegedly became jealous and began sowing seeds of doubt in Robert’s mind about the children’s paternity.

She further accused Robert of bringing other women into their matrimonial home and sleeping with them, though she claims she never publicly complained.

Panel member, Gifty Donkor, popularly known as Big Mama, commented on the matter, observed “the woman’s family may have played a role in undermining the marriage.” She added the “considering the serious nature of the allegations against this woman, it is also difficult to completely dismiss the possibility that Robert may not be the biological father.”

Evangelist Degraft Addae also weighed in, criticizing Robert for his infidelity.
“I put it to you that you have disrespected your wife — you slept around, fathered a child outside the marriage, and now you’re embarrassing her over mere allegations from her family,” he said.

Robert admitted to the claim.

When Obra Show host, Ohemaa Benewaa, asked what he would do if the DNA results proved he is indeed the father, Robert responded, “My conscience will be cleared, and I will focus on the children’s future. I’m not requesting the DNA test to disgrace her — it’s what her family said that pushed me to this point. But if the results show I’m not the father, then I’ll know what to do.”

The emotional case has triggered widespread discussion, highlighting the devastating impact that mistrust and family interference can have on long-term marriages.

Ohemaa Benewaa adjourned the case, stating, “The DNA test is now expected to provide clarity — and possibly peace — to this embattled family. The show will resume when the test results are ready.”

DNA test proves King Paluta’s lookalike as father of teen’s child https://www.adomonline.com/dna-test-proves-king-palutas-lookalike-as-father-of-teens-child/ Thu, 03 Jul 2025 18:30:26 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2551412 A paternity dispute that has gripped listeners of the Obra Show on Nhyira Fm ended in shocking revelations after DNA results confirmed that Stephen Odame, popularly referred to as “King Paluta’s look-alike,” is indeed the biological father of a teenage girl’s child.

The case was brought to light by Akua Serwaa, mother of the teenage mother, who appeared on the Obra Show demanding a paternity test.

She claimed her daughter, Ruth, became pregnant after being in a relationship with the man, who later denied responsibility and went into hiding.

The denial sparked a heated back-and-forth, with the accused man and his family claiming the girl had mentioned several other men as potential fathers.

After the DNA test was conducted, anticipation for the results surged. Across social media and during subsequent Obra broadcast, the question became common: “So when is King Paluta’s DNA result going to be out?” It quickly became a trending topic among listeners, with most phone-ins and online messages centered around that particular case.

When the long-awaited results finally revealed live on the show, the outcome silenced critics. The DNA test confirmed that Stephen Odame is the father of Ruth’s child.

In an emotional reaction, Akua Serwaa, overcome with joy and vindication, broke into spontaneous praise and dance in the studio.

She declared that she would not let the matter rest until she is fully compensated for every cedi spent during her daughter’s pregnancy.

“I want every pesewa back,” she said. “From hospital visits to baby clothes and feeding — everything. He denied us and abandoned us, but today, the truth has spoken,” she said, while her eighteen-year-old daughter wept.

Obra host, Ohemaa Benewa, also responded with strong words, commending Ruth for her strength and resilience throughout the ordeal.

“Ruth, you have not disappointed the sisterhood,” she said. “Stephen Odame will compensate you and your mother. Now that we know the truth, you must return to school. Your mother will help with the child, and the father will take up his responsibility.”

The revelation sparked widespread reactions on radio and online, with many praising the Obra Show for its role in seeking justice and restoring dignity.

Social media exploded with commentary — some mocking the accused with memes comparing him to King Paluta, while others applauded Akua Serwaa for fighting fearlessly to protect her daughter’s future.

Stephen Odame, who had previously evaded responsibility, now faces mounting pressure from the public to own up and support the child, with some listeners praising Nhyira FM and the Obra Show team for their role in uncovering the truth.

“This is why we must support DNA tests. If not for Obra, this girl would have been called names forever while the real father walked free,” a social media comment read.

“Ohemaa Benewa is a national asset! The Obra Show is doing what entire systems have failed to do — giving women justice and restoring dignity,” another comment added, from a U.S.-based listener who also joined the show via phone.

Once again, the Obra Show has proven itself as a trusted and fearless platform that gives voice to the voiceless, uncovers the truth, and demands accountability. What could have ended as another tale of abandonment has instead become a story of truth, justice, and a mother’s unwavering love.

Every baby in the UK to receive DNA testing https://www.adomonline.com/every-baby-in-the-uk-to-receive-dna-testing/ Mon, 23 Jun 2025 09:15:06 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2547195 Every baby in the UK will have their DNA tested under a new 10-year plan for the NHS.

The whole-genome sequencing will screen for hundreds of diseases and allow people to “leapfrog” killer illnesses, according to the Health Secretary, Wes Streeting.

Speaking to the Telegraph, he revealed plans to move the NHS towards a model of sickness prevention rather than treatment.

Personalised medicine, made possible through things like DNA testing, will form a big part of that plan, with £650m pledged to genomics research by the government.

“The revolution in medical science means that we can transform the NHS over the coming decade, from a service which diagnoses and treats ill health to one that predicts and prevents it,” said Mr Streeting in a statement.

“Genomics presents us with the opportunity to leapfrog disease, so we’re in front of it rather than reacting to it.”

The upcoming Life Sciences Sector Plan will be published in early July.

Newborns are currently offered a blood test when they are around five days old to check for nine rare but serious conditions.

In those blood spot tests, the baby’s heel is pricked to collect a few drops of blood on a card, but with whole genome sequencing, blood samples are typically taken from the umbilical cord shortly after birth.

In the past, Mr Streeting has spoken about his desire to make the NHS more preventative, in order to reduce rates of serious illness and save money.

Technologies like artificial intelligence will be used by the health service to predict illness and allow treatment or medication to be offered much earlier.

“With the power of this new technology, patients will be able to receive personalised healthcare to prevent ill health before symptoms begin, reducing the pressure on NHS services and helping people live longer, healthier lives,” said Mr Streeting.

Along with a greater focus on prevention, the Government’s 10-year plan is expected to include Mr Streeting’s two other “shifts” in the NHS: moving care away from hospitals to communities, and from analogue to digital services.

It follows Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ announcement that the Government would increase NHS funding by £29 billion per year in real terms over the next three years as it tries to cut waiting lists in line with its election promises.

Obra Show: DNA saga triggers clash over teenage pregnancy https://www.adomonline.com/obra-show-dna-saga-triggers-clash-over-teenage-pregnancy/ Wed, 18 Jun 2025 10:57:28 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2545953 A live episode of Nhyira FM’s Obra Show ended in chaos after DNA test results confirmed Frank Owusu as the biological father of a teenage girl’s child; a revelation that sparked a heated altercation between two families.

The test, conducted after weeks of public interest and speculation, was the latest step in a case that has gripped listeners since the teenage mother named four different men as potential fathers of her child.

The saga began when Esi Nyamekye accused a young man named Isaac Addae, her daughter’s former classmate, of being responsible for the pregnancy.

Isaac denied paternity, claiming it was a one-time encounter and suspected the girl lied to him for being a virgin. He firmly claimed not to be the father of the child. A DNA test was conducted and officially cleared him.

Following the results, the teenage girl admitted that three other men — Martin, Jeremiah, and Frank Owusu — could also be responsible. All three were invited to the Obra Show, where each denied paternity and gave varying accounts of their engagements with the girl.

In her own words, the teenage girl insisted that Jeremiah was not responsible and cast doubt on Martin’s involvement. Frank, on the other hand, admitted to a timeline that matched the pregnancy but needed confirmation.

Before the DNA results were announced, tensions ran high in the studio. The mother of one of the accused men — who identified herself as a member of a royal family — expressed deep frustration over her son being subjected to a paternity test.

She insisted that the process had brought shame to their family and vowed to sue the teenage girl and her mother if her son was found not to be the father.

“I have prayed over this matter. If my son is innocent, I will not let this go. My family name has been dragged into public disgrace,” she warned emotionally.

Her son was eventually cleared by the DNA results.

However, when Frank Owusu was confirmed as the child’s father, emotions boiled over. The woman, still visibly agitated, confronted Esi Nyamekye, accusing her of tarnishing reputations. The confrontation escalated into a physical altercation that brought the live broadcast to a standstill, despite efforts by producers and guests to intervene.

Obaa Adwoa, host of the Obra Show, condemned the altercation and reminded all parties that the focus of the show was to protect the interests of the innocent child.

“If there is anyone to be held accountable, it should be those who admitted to having sexual relations with an underage girl,” she said firmly.

Panelist, Lady Gold, also questioned the moral responsibility of the man in question. “If your son is royal, what was he doing with a young girl he is not married to?” she quizzed.

Another panelist, Evangelist Degraft Addae, also stated that “all the men involved in this case should be arrested. This girl was underage; the law must take its course.”

With Frank Owusu now confirmed as the father and three others ruled out, the case has shifted from a paternity search to questions of statutory violations and child protection.

The Obra team says it remains committed to supporting the teenage mother and ensuring justice is pursued for the welfare of her child.

Teenage mother names four men for paternity test as first accused is cleared https://www.adomonline.com/teenage-mother-names-four-men-for-paternity-test-as-first-accused-is-cleared/ Fri, 23 May 2025 17:09:05 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2538058 The search for the father of a teenage mother’s child has taken a dramatic turn after DNA test results cleared the first accused man, raising even more questions about the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy.

The unfolding saga which featured on Nhyira FM’s Obra Show has captivated audiences and sparked widespread debate.

Mother of the teenager, Esi Nyamekye, first brought the issue to the public when her daughter’s former classmate denied responsibility for the pregnancy.

He claimed their encounter was a one-time incident, and his family refused to offer support, citing financial constraints.

Following the mother’s insistence on a DNA test, the results ruled him out as the father.

This revelation prompted the girl, who had earlier claimed to be a virgin, to disclose that three other men could also be responsible.

All three men were invited to the Obra Show but also denied paternity and gave separate accounts to support their claims.

“She told me she was a virgin, and while sleeping with her, she started crying,” one of the men said during the broadcast. “I got scared and stopped, so I didn’t ejaculate. I can’t be the father of the child.”

For the second man, the girl admitted that “when I met him, I was already pregnant, but I didn’t tell him because he was taking good care of me. I am very sure he is not the one.”

The third man also shared a timeline he believes proves his innocence. “She told me she was pregnant two weeks after I met her, so I called for a scan. The scan showed she was one month and two weeks pregnant,” he explained.

With each man denying paternity and providing reasons, the mystery deepens. The first accused man remains the only one officially ruled out by DNA evidence. The results for the other three men are still pending.

As the community waits anxiously for the next round of DNA results, lingering questions persist: Is there something the girl is still hiding? Could there be more individuals involved in this pregnancy than currently known?

The case has not only become a media spectacle but also a serious reflection points on teenage sexual behavior, truthfulness, and accountability.

The show continues.

Obra Show: Fetish priest demands DNA before accepting to cater for child https://www.adomonline.com/obra-show-fetish-priest-demands-dna-before-accepting-to-cater-for-child/ Tue, 17 Sep 2024 13:11:09 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2449963 A young fetish priest has pleaded for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of a 2-year-old boy, after he was dragged to Nhyira Fm’s Obra Show by his 16-year-old girlfriend.

Mother of the boy claims that Okomfo has stopped taking care of the child for reasons he did not understand.

“He has stopped taking care of the child since March 2024”, Ama told Mama Effe, host of Obra.

The fetish priest, however, refuted the claims, insisting the actions of the mother made him suspicious and decided not to continue taking care of the child.

“I bought a cloth for her and added money to it; she returned them to me and told me I am not the father of the child, so I should look for my child and stop taking care of the boy. So since then, I have been reluctant to support,” the priest recounted.

In the heat of an argument, the girl claimed she was a virgin until she met the priest. But this claim didn’t go well with Okomfo.

“She was having pills on her the first day I had sex with her, and she was not a virgin. On two occasions, she has told me the child is not mine, so I want a DNA test to be conducted to know the paternity of the child,” he pleaded.

The priest opted to foot the bill for the DNA to prove his innocence.

He agreed to assume responsibility as a father if the results showed he was responsible. But he remained skeptical about the child though there are physical resemblance between him and the child.

Man arrested for impregnating his daughter after DNA exposed him https://www.adomonline.com/man-arrested-for-impregnating-his-daughter-after-dna-exposed-him/ Fri, 28 Jun 2024 09:37:49 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2414754 A resident of Abuakwa in the Ashanti Region identified as Kofi Agyei, has been arrested by the district Police Command for impregnating his 14-year-old daughter.

The arrest came after a series of events revealed that Agyei was responsible for the pregnancy, contrary to his initial denial.

The incident first came to light when the girl falsely accused an innocent man of being the father of her child.

The man, determined to prove his innocence, reported the case to a local radio station.

The station assisted in facilitating a DNA test, which conclusively showed that he was not the father.

Subsequent suspicions and rumours suggested that Agyei had been having inappropriate relations with his daughter.

This prompted a second DNA test, which confirmed Agyei as the biological father of the child.

The community was left in shock as the Police arrested Agyei in front of a large crowd that had gathered at his home.

Woman ‘runs mad’ on live TV after DNA proved neither of her 2 boyfriends is father of her baby https://www.adomonline.com/woman-runs-mad-on-live-tv-after-dna-proved-neither-of-her-2-boyfriends-is-father-of-her-baby/ Sat, 05 Nov 2022 16:41:07 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2179748 There was deafening silence in the studios of Nhyira FM, when DNA result cleared two men accused of impregnating a woman.

The complaint, name withheld, graced the Obra show to accuse her two boyfriends of evading responsibility of her pregnancy and care for their one-year-old son.

This led to a massive banter in the studios as the men, in a rebuttal, accused her of being promiscuous.

To bring an end to the whole brouhaha, the producers of the show, with permission, organized a DNA test and the result was nothing anyone was expecting.

The result read that the probability of the men being the father of the child is 0%, confirming claims she had other ‘side boyfriends’.

The complainant nearly ran mad in the studios after being exposed, and the only reaction she could give was uncontrollable sobbing.

She confessed to sleeping with three men at the same time, even during her pregnancy. After birth, she proceeded to visit the men equally and made them believe they were responsible for the pregnancy.

However, after they failed to play their roles including financial investment in the baby’s upkeep, she reported the matter to the Obra unit.

I researched my husband’s DNA after we had kids – turns out we’re related https://www.adomonline.com/i-researched-my-husbands-dna-after-we-had-kids-turns-out-were-related/ Tue, 11 Jan 2022 12:36:00 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2065946 A woman was shocked when she researched her husband’s genealogy and discovered that the pair were related – but it was ‘too late’ as they were already married and had a child.

Sharing her story anonymously, the woman said that she had been married for about a year when her partner discovered that he was part Native American.

The woman’s curiosity was sparked, as she too was part Native Americanmothe – so she did some research and looked into his family tree, but was shocked by what she learned.

After going back just a short way, she saw her own maiden name on the list, so she compared his family tree with her own and found a link – her great grandmother was his great grand aunt.

Taking to Reddit, she said: “I did some genealogy research on my husband’s maternal side of the family. I find his great-great-grandfather who is officially Seminole Indian.

“We are excited at this point because we find that his grandmother was also born in Oklahoma on the Seminole territory.

“Well, I decided to go back a Lil further and I become alarmed when I find my mother’s maiden surname down the line. I look into it further and find that they were born on Chickasaw territory in Oklahoma.

“At this point, my adrenaline kicks in and I immediately jump back to my mother’s family tree. And there I found her. The woman that connects us. My second great-grandmother, and my husband third great grand aunt.

“The first thing I thought of was my mother-in-law saying ‘I feel like she’s a part of me’ when we first met. Funny how that works.

“No going back now. We’re married and we have a daughter together. It really is a small world.”

After sharing her story online, the woman was inundated with comments from people who said she shouldn’t be concerned – reassuring her that it wasn’t as rare as she thought.

One said: “It’s fine, don’t flip out over it. People tend to generally stay in one geographic area, lots of people all around you are distantly related somehow. Practically can’t avoid it.”

While another added: “That’s actually kinda cool. I can see why it might disturb you at first. But your kid will have quite an interesting ancestry of being two tribes.”

Nigeria goes digital, set to include DNA data for ID cards https://www.adomonline.com/nigeria-goes-digital-set-to-include-dna-data-for-id-cards/ Fri, 14 Aug 2020 11:25:43 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1840789 Nigeria has moved from National Identification and Registration of citizens via card-based version to strictly digital, the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, and the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami, have revealed.

Mr Aregbesola said the new direction in citizen identification will include individual DNA samples, adding that the card-based would merely be for convenience.

“The card is just for convenience the real thing is the number you have, with that number you are on the databank, everything about you is there. We are just upgrading it such that your DNA too will be there very soon.

“Even if you are in a car, I will know if you are the one in the car with your DNA, it’s already captured. You are already captured, you cannot run away anymore,” he explained.

Giving further explanation, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Pantami, said the attention of the programme would no longer be cards’ production, but strengthening the digital platform.

ALSO

“Our priority now is digital ID; it will be attached to your database wherever you are. So if you can memorise it by heart, wherever you go that central database domiciled with NIMC will be able to provide the number and your data will be provided,” he said.

He added the transition has already started in the international passport registration process.

Rambo: How Sylvester Stallone discovered his daughter wasn’t his https://www.adomonline.com/rambo-how-sylvester-stallone-discovered-his-daughter-wasnt-his/ Mon, 13 Jul 2020 13:57:42 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1826251 An old flame of veteran actor Sylvester Stallone has shed light on perhaps the saddest moment in his dating history when the daughter he believed was his turned out not to be his child.

In 1988 he began dating model Jennifer Flavin, who was 23 years his junior, and the pair even became engaged.

But after he met Janice Dickinson, now 65, he called off his five-year romance with Jennifer by sending her a handwritten note via FedEx.

At the time Janice had just given birth to her daughter Savannah and claimed Stallone was the father.

Savannah, now 26, was even given his surname at birth.

The pair were engaged for six months but they split up just weeks after Savannah was born in 1994 when a DNA test revealed that he wasn’t the father.

Writing in her 2002 autobiography ‘No Lifeguard On Duty’, Dickinson admitted that she had slept with three men in the space of a week.

MORE:

Though Stallone, her then partner film producer Michael Birnbaum or an unnamed artist could have been the father, she believed it was the actor.

She said: “Things hadn’t been going well with Michael for some time, and we split up later that week when I came clean about Stallone.

“But Sly didn’t call, as I had expected him to, and a week later I discovered I was pregnant.

“I called Sly and went over to see him. We had supper and made love – he’d improved considerably since our brief debut. Then I told him I was pregnant.

“‘How do you know it’s not Michael Birnbaum’s?’ he asked.

“Well, I didn’t – in fact, it could even have been the artist’s – but in all honesty, deep down, I felt the child was Sly’s.”

Just six weeks after Savannah was born Janice was back on the catwalk for Versace and Stallone was in the audience.

But when she was walked down the runway she realised he had gone and she found him back at their hotel.

Janice wrote: “‘She’s not mine,’ he said. ‘I just heard from the DNA lab in Long Beach. Savannah’s not mine. Send my regards to Mr Birnbaum’ – and with that he stood up.

“And then he turned and walked out.”

Stallone reunited with Jennifer Flavin, now 51, in 1995.

They were married in 1997 and share three daughters: Sophia, 24, Sistine, 22, and Scarlet, 18.

The parent, who remains unidentified, made the shocking discovery after taking the newborns to undergo a DNA test as part of the standard procedure to register their births in China, a DNA analyst told reporters.

The man was astounded upon receiving the test results which indicated that his wife also had sex with someone other than him, Chinese media report.

A Chinese man (not the one pictured) is left stunned as he discovered that his infant twins have two fathers, a DNA analyst who conducted the paternity test has revealed. In the file picture above, a father takes a nap with his twins in a shop on August 28, 2006 in Wuhan.

“First, the mother needs to produce two eggs instead of one in the same month [to have twins],” Ms Deng, who is also the director of Beijing Zhongzheng Forensic Identification Centre, explained to China News Weekly.

“Second, she needs to have intercourse with two men in really short space of time to make it possible.

“The results showed that the children have the same mother but not the same father. They have at least two fathers,” Ms Deng suggested.

Twins being born with different fathers is an extremely rare occurrence known as heteropaternal superfecundation.

Women usually have to have sex with two different men within a day before or after ovulation for both eggs to be fertilised. Deng Yajun, the practitioner who produced the paternity report, said that the chance for such case to happen is one in 10 million. Similar stories have been reported in China before as another Chinese mother was forced to admit that she had cheated on her husband in a one-night stand after receiving the DNA results last year.

It came after the couple from south-eastern China’s Xiamen city went to register the birth of their twin sons at the local police station in 2019.

In order to complete the registration, they had to produce the results of a paternity test to prove that the babies were theirs.

According to the person who shared the story on social media, the man who was based in Canada returned to Nigeria with the hope of flying his family to join him in Canada but fate had a way of turning things around.

In the course of filing for the travel documents of the children, the Canadian Embassy requested for a test to prove the children were his.

The man agreed to conduct the test only for it to come out as negative for him – not even one of the three children was his biological child.

The man, on seeing the DNA results, got angry and beat his wife to the extent that she lost 4 teeth.

He stated that the problem will not be the infidelity on the part of the woman but the sterility of the man.

According to Victor, such DNA results only prove the men are infertile and the wives are trying to cover the shame.

In a twitter post revealing this unpopular opinion, the counsellor advised men to thank their wives for not exposing their sexual shortcomings should they find out that their children belonged to other men.

He further advised men to live silently with such children in peace.

Demand skeletal remains in court – Lawyer urges families of Taadi girls https://www.adomonline.com/demand-skeletal-remains-in-court-lawyer-urges-families-of-taadi-girls/ Sat, 26 Oct 2019 15:49:33 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1715780 Private Legal Practitioner, Martin Kpebu has urged families of the Takoradi dead girls to demand for the skeletal remains of the children in the law court.

To Lawyer Martin Kpebu, he believes the Police Service have refused to release the remains because the main suspect is still standing trial in court.

“On the facts of this case I would side with the Ghana Police because of the controversy. Are they [the families] not saying that these bones are not the bones of their children? So because of that, there is a controversy.”

Speaking in an interview on Accra-Based Citi FM monitored by Adomonline.com, Lawyer Kpebu explained the court would have to issue an order for the police to release the remains of the girls.

“So the first hurdle they have to cross is that they’ll go to the same court and ask for an order to be permitted to do their own independent DNA test. Then after the results, they’ll know that these are the bones of their children or not. If it turns out that those bones belong to their children, then they’ll now apply that they want to have closure,” he urged.

Lawyer Kpebu’s comment follows a private meeting between the families and the Inspector General of Police (IGP), James Oppong Boanuh on Thursday where they made some demands including the release of the remains for an independent DNA test.

Meanwhile, the police said some conditions would have to be met before the remains could be released but the families however rejected the condition.

Meanwhile, they were given access to the mortuary to have a look at the skeletal remains for the first time since its discovery during which some of the relative stated the bones are not those of the girls.

A delegation of about 20 people was transported to Accra from Takoradi for the meeting with the IGP.

Anatomic Pathologist, Ernest Adjei, involved in establishing the identity of the remains believed to be those of the four kidnapped Takoradi girls says he is convinced about the credibility of the DNA results.

According to Dr Ernest Adjei, he stands by the quality of work done by him and his colleagues in establishing that the remains were those of the girls.

“When the remains came in, one was separate with three mixed up which we had to re-arrange and sort them out,” he said.

Speaking in an interview on Joy News’ Police Watch, Dr Adjei enumerated how the due procedures were conducted.

“At the end of the day, what we sought to do was to look at the bones and establish the age range, the height, the stature and sexes which comes with some techniques and we realised all four were females.

“We found out the youngest of the skeletal remains was between 15 and 16 with the oldest between 21 and 22.”

To Dr Adjei, he was convinced the remains were those of the Takoradi girls even before the DNA results were released.

“I was depressed when we discovered the skeletal remains were feminine adding that to the age range. I was sad because I was hoping we will get to the point where we will say those were not the remains of the missing girls,” he said.

Takoradi kidnapped girls: Families demand DNA results from Police https://www.adomonline.com/takoradi-kidnapped-girls-families-demand-dna-results-from-police/ Tue, 10 Sep 2019 07:07:36 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1702569 The families of the three kidnapped Takoradi girls are demanding updates on the DNA tests being undertaken on the human remains retrieved from the vicinity of the residence of the alleged kidnapper, Samuel Udoetuk Wills.

A statement issued by the Police CID after the remains were found said the tests would be completed within four weeks.

The statement also specified that the police would cover all other angles of investigations as the search for the kidnapped girls continues.

The spokesperson for the families, Michael Hayford, speaking on Eyewitness News said they have not received any information or updates from the police about the DNA samples.

“When asked when last they heard from the police, he replied, “That was last three weeks. The liaison officer came to visit the family and then he told us that as soon as the report comes in they will let us know. But as it stands now the month has ended. That was a week ago and there’s been no information from them so we are just hoping that they will come out with the report.”

“You know the month just ended last week so we wanted to give them a week more. The week will end like coming Friday. So after Friday if there is nothing like report we will just move to their office to verify from them what they have for us,” he continued.

Some residents of Takoradi had threatened to hit the streets of Takoradi over the police’s handling of the case.

DNA report clears Lebanese suspect https://www.adomonline.com/dna-report-clears-lebanese-suspect/ https://www.adomonline.com/dna-report-clears-lebanese-suspect/#comments Mon, 15 Jan 2018 11:40:28 +0000 http://35.232.176.128/ghana-news/?p=837881 Police investigators handling the suspected rape case involving Lebanese national appear to be getting through with the case, as a DNA test on a 19-year-old house help who was allegedly raped by her Lebanese employer in his Airport Hills residence in Accra, gives a glimmer of hope to the accused.
An earlier lab report obtained from the Police Hospital dated December 3, 2017 according to DAILY GUIDE sources, had indicated that sperm was found on the lady.
Subsequently, further swabs were taken for forensic laboratory test to ascertain whether the sperm was that of Rabih Haddad’s, but it has turned negative, clearing the way for the possible freedom of the Lebanese, who has been under police custody at the Ridge Hospital.
DAILY GUIDE has gathered that the result of the forensic DNA test indicates that no sperm was found on the victim (name withheld), sharply contradicting the earlier Police Hospital report.
According to the DNA report titled, ‘The Republic Vrs Rabih Haddad,’ Lab No. DNA 66/17, “The virginal swab cuts reacted negatively to the test of human semen. Based on the DNA analysis, the suspect Rabih Haddad, can be excluded as a contributor to the DNA profile obtained from the Exhibit.”
The DNA report, a copy of which is in possession of DAILY GUIDE, states in its conclusion, “The victim, name withheld, is the sole contributor/source of the DNA profile generated from the Exhibit.”
The question that is yet to be answered is what could have caused the differences in opinion over whether or not there was sperm on the victim?
According to reports, the fluid taken from the girl might be virginal discharge.
The Lebanese has been in custody since December last year when he was arrested and his lawyer, Ralph Poku Adusei, has been praying the court to grant him bail.
He is to return to court today to press for his bail application.
An Accra District Court had earlier declined him bail because it did not have jurisdiction over the case, directing the defence counsel to apply to the high court.
He subsequently did it but his application was strongly opposed by the Attorney General’s Department, which insists that the accused must remain in custody while the case goes to trial.
Mr Ralph Poku Adusei averred that his client was suffering from cardiac cell damage – a heart condition which he said would not allow his client to be confined.
According to him, if the court denied the accused person bail, the court risked trying a dead man.
He stated that the accused person, while in police custody, fainted and had to be rushed to the hospital by police officers.
Haddad has since been put on oxygen and DAILY GUIDE’s sources say his oxygen level is 90 percent, but he fainted any time the oxygen was taken off at the Ridge Hospital.
His lawyer has been telling the court that the prosecution is not certain why the police arrested him.
Mr Adusei said the defence team had raised an alibi and the police had still not investigated the alibi.
An Accra High Court, presided over by Justice Dorgu, has set today, January 15, 2018, to rule on the application.

How DNA is saving some men in Ghana – Over 90% of tests prove they are not the fathers https://www.adomonline.com/dna-saving-men-ghana-90-tests-prove-not-fathers/ https://www.adomonline.com/dna-saving-men-ghana-90-tests-prove-not-fathers/#comments Fri, 08 Dec 2017 11:25:48 +0000 http://35.232.176.128/ghana-news/?p=743171 Editor’s Note: To protect our sources in the course of investigating this sensitive matter, certain names and details have been changed.
There is a joke currently doing the rounds on Whatsapp about a couple who got divorced after more than 20 years of marriage.
The wife sent this message: -“am sorry to inform you that the girl you thought was your daughter is not. It was someone who impregnated me.”
The husband replied, “oh, thank God. I am now free from the guilt of incest. Please ask her to come and see me. I would want her to take over from you.”
The above is one of the reasons why many persons are happy that the science of determining whether man is actually the father of a child DNA- can be done locally. Hitherto, such tests were done outside the country. The cost of DNA tests in Ghana range between GH1,000 to GH1,500. Over the past 10 months, results of %90 of DNA tests carried indicated that those alleged to be the fathers were not. 10% of the results indicated that the men were indeed the fathers as alleged by the women.
One of the men who benefited from the DNA test proving he was not the father told the Daily Dispatch, “I was told by the court to take care of the pregnancy till the lady delivers. Then we conduct the DNA test. If the test proves I am not the father, I could sue the woman to recoup my expenses.”
Asked whether he intended to sue, he replied, “my brother, no. I am happy that I would not have to take care of someone else’s child, to be told years later that he child is not mine.”
Dear readers, please advise yourselves.

Davido’s 3rd baby-mama resurfaces, challenges him for DNA test https://www.adomonline.com/davidos-3rd-baby-mama-resurfaces-challenges-dna-test/ Mon, 15 May 2017 12:09:39 +0000 http://35.232.176.128/ghana-news/?p=119241 Nigerian singer and son of a billionaire father, David Adeleke simply called ‘Davido’ should be bracing up for a third child from another woman.

The “IF” crooner has been linked with a third ‘baby-mama’.

Davido welcomed his second daughter, Hailey, in America few days ago from his second baby-mama, Amanda.

However, a particular lady, Ayomide Labinjo, who had accused the singer of impregnating her about three years ago and abandoning his responsibility as a father has surfaced.

Even though the singer has publicly denied the child, Labinjo had since dared him to come out for another DNA test but the singer has refused.

In a chat with Punch, the lady wondered why Davido would take care of his other two children and be a father to them but refused to do the same to their alleged child, Mitchell, whom she claims to be his first child.

“Our lawyer has sent a letter to Davido’s father since April 20, 2017, we have not got any response till now. I am not happy about this whole situation.

“Why would I be happy for Davido? He should be taking care of Mitchell the same way he is taking care of Imade and I know how he is going to take good care of this one. What is my own offence?” she queried.

When asked if she does not feel that the way he treats them could be a possible sign that the kid probably does not belong to the singer, she challenged him to have another DNA test.

“What do you mean please? Then why isn’t he coming out for the DNA since he is denying the little girl? Why has his father refused to get back to the lawyer?

“David is the father of my daughter, at least I was not raped. I know who impregnated me! Besides, if he doesn’t want to go for the DNA, he has siblings.

“Let them come out or probably go the traditional way to know if she is their daughter or not.

“I don’t know and I don’t care about any ‘Americana;’ all I want is for him to take care of Mitchell. She’s also his daughter and first child for that matter,” she said.
