The news was revealed by a spokesperson from the French Embassy following a strategic meeting with stakeholders.

Scheduled to take place on August 10th, the concert promises to be a highlight of the Olympic festivities, where the vibrant cultural and musical talents of Ghana will be showcased on an international stage.

The event is set to span the entire day with multiple Ghanaian artistes including Sarkodie, King Promise and Darkovibes taking their turns on stage.

Expressing their support and best wishes for the Ghanaian contingent, the French Embassy also announced a significant sponsorship of €20,000 for Team Ghana.

The Africa Fan Zone is expected to attract a diverse audience of athletes, fans, and global visitors.

With Sarkodie, King Promise, and Darkovibes at the helm, the concert promises to deliver unforgettable performances that resonate far beyond the Olympic Games.

Though details of the crash remains sketchy, the musician revealed the incident happened on the Tema-Accra motorway.

He was reportedly dodging potholes on the stretch when he bumped into one and burst his tyre.

He shared a video of his badly damaged saloon car which had it’s right tyre completely shattered.

“It was a very close one,” he tweeted as he called on the necessary authorities to fix the deathtrap road.

Meanwhile, two persons reportedly lost their lives on the same stretch yesterday when a driver lost control and crashed into an articulator truck.

Tens of thousands of fans were treated to an electrifying performance Saturday night by Davido who recruited Stonebowy, Darkovibes and KiDi to join in the celebration.

At the fun-packed musical concert, Stonebwoy was the first to join the Afrobeats star on stage to perform their collaboration, Activate.

The charged crowd chanted in excitement as the duo gave their very best amid hot dance steps.

The situation of Darkovibes was not different.

The budding artiste was ‘stupefied’ when fans sang their Je M’apelle song word-for-word.

Despite it being his first time to perform at the 02 Arena, and before an august crowd of about 20,000 fans, Darkovibes did not stutter.

His performance is still on the lips of many, and he was trending number 1 on Ghana Twitter.

KiDi, however, failed to capitalize on the opportunity as he was absent, despite reservations made for him.

It is believed to be in line with rehearsals for his own concert happening at the same venue, a day after.

KiDi will perform alongside Kuami Eugene at the Indigo 02 Arena, Sunday, March 6 for their sold-out Live In Concert.

Other artistes who performed on the night were Teni, Adekunle Gold, Mayorkun, Zlatan, Tion, Russ, Ardee, Not3s, Simba, Popcaan, Yung Bleu, Pheelz, Ckay, Focalistic, Capella Grey, Runtown, Victony, JNR Choi and Ricardo Banks.

Meanwhile, Davido’s sold-out concert has put Africa on the highest map, with respect to music.

Aside Davido, very few artistes including Wizkid and Burna Boy have reached that feat. Ghanaian artistes are yet to catch up.

According to him, it is not a safe thing to do, especially when “you are a male celebrity because it can be a trap.”

He explained on the Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM show that it can shift one’s focus away from the music business.

It’s not safe to reply DMs from girls. It’s a cold world. The world is not a safe place at all.

Per Darkovibes, he is afraid of scandals and usually, DMs can be very deceptive, thus, could lead him away from his actual plans.

Not every female fan because sometimes you have to protect your energy. She should understand. I don’t reply anyhow, it depends on the kind of message, he said.

When asked the kind of messages he is quick to respond to, he said: If it was business I would have replied long time ago. I make hot [SIC].

Meanwhile, Darkovibes is currently promoting his new music video with Nigerian singer Davido dubbed Je M’appelle.

He made this revelation in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.

Darkovibes explained that, members of La Meme Gang are doing  individual projects thus cannot be described as a group.
