The Grammy winner shared news of the baby boy’s arrival on Instagram, writing: “I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else.”

Last month, Cardi B released her long-awaited sophomore album – Am I The Drama? – issuing a public plea for people to buy it so she can afford nappies.

The hip hop superstar – real name Belcalis Almánzar – shares three children with her estranged husband Offset. She filed for divorce from the Migos rapper in July 2024.

Representatives for Cardi B did not immediately respond on Friday to the BBC’s requests for comment.

Cardi B did not share details about the child’s birth, but her spokesperson told People magazine on Thursday that Cardi had a baby boy and is “healthy and happy”.

Diggs, whom the rapper has been dating for about a year, revealed the child’s sex during a red-carpet event earlier this month.

“It’s a boy. That’s enough for me,” the New England Patriots wide receiver told People at the time. “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”

This is the second child for Diggs, who has a 9-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

Sharing a clip from her single Hello on Instagram, the 33-year-old alluded to starting over after her last chapter. Presumably, that chapter includes her contentious break-up with Offset, with whom she shares daughters Kulture and Blossom, and son Wave.

She said that being a better version of herself allows her to “continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve”.

“This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds me against everything meant to get in my way,” she wrote.

She told her 163m followers that she is starting to prepare for a tour that corresponds to her new album, as well as getting her mind and body into shape to give her fans the “performance of a lifetime”.

“I’ve learned i’ve healed, and im loving the woman i’ve become! Thats what this next era means to me and i’m stepping into it better than ever,” she wrote.

The “WAP” rapper revealed to co-host Gayle King that she and the New England Patriots wide receiver are gearing up to welcome their little one before she is slated to kick off her just-announced Little Miss Drama tour in February.

“Yes, I am [pregnant]. I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi, 32, said with a smile. “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, and me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”

The baby news comes just as Cardi — already a mother of three young ones with ex-husband rapper Offset — is gearing up for the release of her long-awaited sophomore studio LP, Am I the Drama?, which drops on Friday (Sept. 19).

Cardi said she and Diggs, 31, are in the “same space” in their careers, with both arguably “great” at what they respectively do. “Yeah, we’re one of the greatest, but what’s next? What are we doing again?” she said of their mutual ambition. “We’re never comfortable, we just want to keep doing it.”

The Migos rapper filed an updated answer to Cardi’s divorce petition in New Jersey’s Bergen County Superior Court earlier this month, as first reported by TMZ. The amended filing adds a request for an unspecified amount of alimony, but remains unchanged otherwise.

A representative for Offset and an attorney for Cardi did not immediately return a request for comment.

The WAP rapper confirmed her baby news on Instagram earlier today, sharing a glimpse at her growing, bare baby bump in a revealing red dress.

Alongside the uploads, the 31-year-old – who is also mom to daughter Kulture and son Wave – appeared to hint at her split from the Migos legend.

She captioned the post: ‘With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!

‘Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!

‘It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!’

The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in September, 2017, shortly before announcing their engagement.

They first split in 2018, following the birth of their daughter Kulture, and the WAP rapper, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, initially filed to end their marriage in 2020.

She called this off and reunited with the 32-year-old legend, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, the following month, before going on to welcome their son Wave in 2021.

However, it seems as though the pair have officially gone their separate ways with Cardi submitting paperwork to end their marriage once again on Wednesday.

According to reports, she hired a divorce lawyer and is seeking primary custody of their two children.

An insider told PageSix that recent rumors that Offset had cheated were not behind the break—up, insisting that they had ‘grown apart’.

‘They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,’ they shared. ‘This is something she wants to do.’

Sources also told TMZ that the divorce has been ‘a long time coming’, suggesting that the former couple have ‘disconnected from each other’.

They added that it was ‘not an overnight decision’ – but neither have spoken publicly about the claims.

Cardi and Offset first started dating in 2017, and quietly got married in September of that year – before sharing the news of their engagement in October.

The footage, said to be from around 2018, was seemingly leaked from a documentary featuring Ye on the phone talking about the “Bongos” rapper. 

“Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” Kanye West said in the video recording.  

“She don’t write her raps,” he said before adding, “She’s just there to sound as ignorant as possible. She’s literally replaced Nicki Minaj purposely. That they put her there, and now she doesn’t know what to do. She has no idea what the f### is going on. She thinks it’s a blessing from the universe, it ain’t no f###### blessing.” 

However, when Cardi B caught wind of the clip, she shared her own video of Kanye West singing a different tune. She took to X (formerly Twitter) with a clip of Ye talking positively about her during a 2022 interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee.  

“I always believed in her since she was on the show. Period,” the G.O.O.D. Music founder said, referencing Cardi’s stint on Love & Hip-Hop: New York.  

She captioned her post simply with a red heart emoji.  

The Grammy Award winner teamed up with Ye and Lil Durk in the 2022 song “Hot Sh*t.”  

“I’m so happy that he gave me this verse. And I had a lot of conversations with Kanye West,” Cardi B explained to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in June 2022.

“I learned so much about him, and he’s such an amazing, sweet person. I’ve been feeling like I wish a lot of people [could] have conversations with him so they could just see the real him.”

On Sunday, a pair of videos from the documentary surfaced online of Ye having a phone conversation about giving songs away, industry plants, the Illuminati and more. 

In one video, the Chicago legend is sitting on a couch going through a magazine and speaking on Corey Gamble being a part of the CIA and claiming Cardi B is an “industry plant” that took over Nicki Minaj’s spot.

“Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” Ye said. “She don’t write her raps. She just there to sound as ignorant as possible and then make songs like, ‘fuck them and get some money.’ She has literally replaced Nicki Minaj, purposely that they put her there, and now she doesn’t know what to do, and she has no idea what the fuck is going on. However, it’s possible for people to change. Hours after the footage leaked, Cardi shared an interview Ye did with Jason Lee in 2022 in which he spoke about how much he loves her and that he always believed in her. Shortly after the Lee interview, Ye and Cardi joined forces on the 2022 single “Hot Shit” with Lil Durk.

In another leaked video, Kanye is on the phone with Scooter Braun and speaking on getting out of “this G.O.O.D. Music shit now.” The Donda rapper stated he needed to end his record label because he’s “great,” questioned why he gave Pusha T Daytona and Teyana Taylor KTSE, and criticized Nas for being off-beat on “Cops Shot the Kid” off their collaborative effort, NASIR.

“The fuck I’m doing giving ‘Wanna Love You’ to fucking Teyana? What the fuck am I doing giving that Daytona album to Pusha? What the fuck I’m doing bro?,” said Kanye. “That shit was three Dark Fantasies that I gave away. ‘Cops Shot the Kid,’ Nas rapping all god-damned offbeat on it and don’t even want to shoot a video. Then shoot the video and don’t even tell me.”

He continued, “These muthaf*ckers don’t appreciate me. These muthaf*ckers are trying to use me. I’m the greatest muthaf*cking artist living, and I can do everything.”

Kanye also added that he wanted to do his own festival instead of performing at others and has since done everything that he claimed people didn’t think would happen.

He also said he knew what he was saying could put his life in danger but wouldn’t end up like XXXTENTACION, who was known for speaking out against the industry.  

“I know my life is on the line when I’m talking, but I know ain’t nobody going to touch me because I’m too high profile. I’m not [XXXTENTACION], so y’all can’t take me out,” he continued. “But I bet you I get off my muthafucking publishing, I bet you I get my muthafucking festival, and I bet you I get off of Universal, and I bet you all I won’t talk to Adidas again.”

The explosive footage is just one of many things that have been leaked over the last few weeks. Most of the leaks include song snippets, unreleased music videos, and more.

The mic was initially put on sale by Scott Fisher, the owner of The Wave Inc, a Las Vegas-based audio production company that provided sound equipment to Drai’s Beachclub on the day of the incident, according to Fisher. 

He told CBS News that his company, which gives audio support to many nightclubs, has been providing audio gear to Drai’s since their grand opening at the Cromwell Hotel over nine years ago.

On July 29, in an incident captured on cell phone video, a fan threw a liquid at Cardi B as she was performing on stage at the Las Vegas beach club. In retaliation, the rapper threw her mic at the audience member.

The fan made a police complaint about the incident, but Cardi B was not charged.

Fisher eventually retrieved the mic and put it up for auction, committing the proceeds to two charities: Friendship Circle Las Vegas and the Wounded Warrior Project.

He said he was able to verify that the mic, a Shure AD2 Axient Digital, was in fact the one launched into the crowd because of how it was labeled and synchronized with Cardi B’s earpiece.

“It’s standard procedure to mark all microphones and in-ear systems as to whom they ‘go to’ prior to soundcheck to make sure the same person gets the correct items during the show,” Fisher told CBS News.

Additionally, “you could see white tape on the Cardi B mic in all the videos, and that is how we knew which mic was hers.”

Fisher said he also verified the microphone a third way — checking with Drai’s sound technician to confirm the mic’s labeling—main—as well as the receiver it was synced to.

According to the mic’s listing on eBay, it still works and would be given to the buyer with a letter from Fisher certifying the microphone’s authenticity, as well as a custom display case from a company that volunteered to make one after hearing about the mic’s sale.

More than 120 people bid for the item.

Fisher said that while he expected the mic to garner some bids, he never thought the “piece of hip hop infamy” would sell for nearly $100,000. The brand and model of that mic, one not thrown by Cardi B, typically retails for close to $1,000.

“I was hoping it would hit $5,000 but again I had no idea,” the small business owner said. “I figured it would gain some attention nationally but the amount of news coverage has been staggering.”

A viral video has emerged showing the artiste throwing a microphone at an audience member during a recent concert after the individual tossed a drink at her mid-performance.

This incident occurred just hours after she displayed a similar outburst at a different show in Las Vegas.

The incident, which was captured in a video shared on Pop Base’s Twitter account, took place during a daytime concert where Cardi B was energetically performing “Bodak Yellow”.

While singing, she was unexpectedly splashed in the face by a drink thrown from the audience.

Without missing a beat, Cardi B swiftly reacted by grabbing the microphone she was holding and flinging it at the person responsible for the disrespectful act.

The singer was visibly upset as she was appearing to yell at them. Her team rushed to remove the attendee from the crowd and tried to calm her.

The Bronx-born 30-year-old shared lots of footages of her ‘pretty princess’ wearing a fancy feathered frock and ballet-style sandals with the expensive purse – created 1984 in honor of Jane Birkin – which can cost between $5K-$500K.

Cardi (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus) also shared a snap of little Kulture playing her small pink Blüthner piano with the Birkin resting on top.

The 31-year-old father-of-five was the mastermind behind the party for his ‘Daddy’s girl’ and the festivities took place at DreamWorks Water Park within American Dream at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey.

Kulture was still clutching her Birkin as she embraced a costumed character of Princess Poppy from the Trolls movies.

The half-Dominican, half-Trinidadian star high-fived Offset (born Kiari Cephus) and gushed: ‘Yay! I love it. You did that! Yasss!’

The Georgia native arranged for a DJ to spin tunes by the windows as well as a balloon-decorated table featuring cakes, cupcakes, and a light-up ‘Kulture’ sign.

The not-so-typical child later changed into a pink romper and Crocs so she could better enjoy the water park and rides located outside her marble-floored, private VIP room where a costumed character of Blue from Blue’s Clues greeted her.

Cardi – who boasts 257.2M social media followers – had to physically pry their 22-month-old son Wave Set Cephus away from Blue as he looked way too blissed out to move from the giant dog’s fuzzy blue grip: ‘Awww my baby!’

But even the Cardi Tries producer-star felt the venue might have been too large for a sparsely-attended children’s party, writing via Instastory: ‘I wish this man would [have] let me know. I would [have popped] out with 100 people, LMAO!’

While dancing by herself at the bash, Cardi began lip-synching along to her own NSFW verse as a featured artist on FendiDa Rappa’s new single Point Me 2, which dropped last Thursday.

Cardi admitted it felt ‘a little sad’ to see her ‘baby’ grow up, but she vowed the birthday celebrations will be ‘turned up today till the weekend.’

The couple, known for their high-profile relationship, has faced numerous ups and downs throughout their time together. Offset’s public accusations of Cardi B’s alleged cheating have sparked widespread attention and speculation among fans and followers.

In response to the allegations, Cardi B addressed the situation head-on, taking to her own social media platforms to share her side of the story. With a resolute tone, she denied the claims and emphasized her commitment to her marriage and family.

“First of all, let me say,” Cardi began in song. “You can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!”

The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker went to explain that she’s not in a position to hook up with a “regular regular shmegular” guy because he would “tell the world.”

While the details surrounding the alleged infidelity remain private, Cardi B made it clear that she intends to handle the matter privately with Offset. She emphasized the importance of maintaining their family’s well-being, highlighting her dedication to co-parenting their child and working through any challenges they may face.

On the other hand, she argued, she can’t sleep with anybody “in the industry” because they would “tell, too.”

She also demanded that Offset “stop acting stupid.”

“The f–k? Stop playing,” she concluded. “That’s all I’mma motherf–king say because for real, let’s be serious.”

Cardi B’s response to the accusations has garnered support from her fan base, with many praising her resilience and maturity in handling the situation.

Cardi B whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar had been in a legal battle of a copyright infringement by Kevin Brophy, who alleged that the Grammy-winning rapper had inappropriately used his back tattoos for her sexually provocative mixtape cover art in 2016.

The applicant had described the appearance of his back tattoo on Cardi B’s obscene cover album as humiliating. His claims were however rejected. 

A jury on Friday, October 21 ruled in favour of the “I Like It” hitmaker.

The judgement absolves Cardi B from the payment of millions of dollars in demanded damages after it was determined that she was not legally culpable in Brophy’s lawsuit whose back tattoos were unintentionally superimposed onto a “raunchy” album cover.

The rapper wrote on Twitter “I just won this lawsuit …I’m soo emotional right now …I wanna kiss God’s feet right now …..I’M BEYOND GRATEFUL.”

The applicant still has two ways to challenge the ruling, if he so chooses: first, by requesting the judge to reverse the ruling, and second, by taking the matter before a federal appeals court.

The rapper is having a fantastic year. Earlier in the year, an Atlanta jury awarded her nearly $3 million in punitive damages and legal fees in connection with her libel case against celebrity gossip YouTuber Tasha K.

Cardi, who has accepted Poloo as her spirit twin sister, dropped a comment on the latter’s Instagram post where she was flaunting her curves.

The Ghanaian socialite featured Poloo’s music in the background of her post which she simply captioned, “I love Cardi B”.

In response, Cardi dropped two love emojis under her post.

The gesture has left Poloo in cloud 9, as she reminds her critics of how difficult it is to be recognised by a talented American rapper and a Grammy award-winner.

Cardi has recorded other history-making moments including becoming the first female rap artiste to win Album of the Year at the BET Awards, a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, as well as the first Billboard Music Award winner for Top Female Rap Act.

With a record of such, it is not surprising Akuapem Poloo cherishes the friendship she has with Cardi.

“I’m deleting my Twitter but On God I hate this f–kin dumbass fan base,” she tweeted before taking down her account. “You got the slow dumbasses dragging my kids all cause y’all though [sic] I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t the f–k ?”

Cardi, whose song “Up” was nominated for Best Rap Performance at the awards show, continued, “When the f–k I hinted I was going? just f–kin stupid I can’t I needs to protect myself.”

She seemed to be set off by multiple netizens who had tweeted about her two kids, whom she shares with her husband Offset.

“I bet yo (sic) son wouldn’t like for you to be on your ass while teasing us fans and not ever dropping music,” one troll tweeted, to which Cardi harshly responded, “I hope your moms die.”

And when another user chimed in with a baseless claim that one of the “WAP” performer’s children is autistic, Cardi was left with no choice but to clear the air.

“@iamcardib do you kiss your @utistic child with that mouth?” the troll tweeted, leading Cardi to reply, “None of my kids are autistic…don’t project wat u got on my kids the f–k.”

In another tweet, she called her haters “so f–king dumb” and wrote that she really does not like them.

“SUCK MY D–K,” she concluded before disappearing from the social media platform.

While some people dragged Cardi for showing “disgusting behaviour” in the way that she called out her followers, others commended the artist for defending herself and her family.

The Bronx native went live on Instagram later on Sunday and asked, “Why would I show up for one nomination? … If you bring up my son, I wish the worst on you. I hate you.”

She also took a moment to clarify her response to the autism tweet, saying in part, “I never said there was nothing [sic] wrong with people who have [autism], but don’t put that on my f–king kid.”

Cardi won her first and only Grammy in 2019 for Best Rap Album for “Invasion of Privacy.”

The former “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star, 29, and Migos member Offset, 30, share 3-year-old daughter Kulture and a son, whom they welcomed in September 2021.

The Migos member, 30, filmed Cardi unwrapping her lavish gifts Monday and posted her reaction to his Instagram Story.

“I got that one in Dubai,” Offset told Cardi as she opened the first box containing a red and black sequin Chanel crossbody.

“Oh, this is pretty,” the “WAP” rapper said of the pricey purse. In another video, Cardi opened her gift to reveal a nude Chanel double flap bag.

“S–t. What the f–k. God damn,” Cardi said of the jumbo purse as she tried it on with the light blue dress she was rocking.

“This one is cute!” she exclaimed of another small pastel blue style.

Cardi seemed even more excited when she opened the fourth box to reveal an aqua patent leather jumbo double flap bag with silver hardware, shouting, “Where the f–k you got this from?”

“Opening gifts is a lot,” Cardi said as she made her way to another beautifully wrapped present, which contained the fifth bag: a pink version of the aqua purse.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper was so excited, in fact, that she started doing the cha-cha, yelling, “Oh my God, this bitch is bad!”

“Babe, I can’t. I can’t,” she told Offset, clearly impressed with his grand gesture.

The final purse was wrapped and displayed with hundreds of rose petals and roses outside by their pool, which was also filled with red petals. Inside, Cardi found a massive black tote bag with gold hardware, of which she said, “This is cute.”

Inside their mansion, Offset set the scene with even more roses, rose petals and intricate flower displays as well as a massive spread of delicious food.

“I’m so happy,” Cardi told him in another video.

The “Lick” collaborators secretly married in 2017 and briefly separated in 2020, but Cardi then withdrew her divorce papers. They have since welcomed two children together: 3-year-old daughter Kulture and a 5-month-old son, whose name the pair have yet to reveal.

meanwhile, there has been reports of shortage of roses in Atlanta, as Offset secured $500,000 worth of heart-shaped flowers for Cardi.

But at the Migos rapper’s 30th birthday celebration Tuesday (Dec. 21), Cardi may have finally hit the prezzie pinnacle.

According to video posted in Cardi’s Instagram Story from the event, she presented her hubby with one of those oversized novelty checks usually reserved for sweepstakes winners for a cool $2 million.

In a video of the mega-check handover, Cardi notes that Offset has a “lot of business ventures” on the horizon in 2022, before bellowing, “So bring out the birthday giiiiift motherf—er!!!!”

After an assistant hands it over, she makes sure he understands, “That’s $2 million! Two million dollars. Two million dollars. Two million dollars. Two million dollars. Two million dollars. Here ya go, I love you!”

The story also featured footage of Offset tossing cash into the crowd and smiling as he held his very special gift.

Cardi also chronicled her husband taking a picture of a painting in which his grandmother is holding baby Kiari Cephus (with the message “Him love his grandma”) and shots of his fire party Nikes with blue glowing soles.

Days ahead of the party, Cardi posted a series of photos and videos of the couple and Offset with their two children, along with a loving note about the man she calls her “husband, best friend and babydaaadddyy.”

In the Dec. 14 post, she wrote, “I love you so much and I’m so proud of you. We have overcome so much together. I love the man that you’re becoming and I love the father that you are. Thank you for always being there for me, for being a great confidant and advisor and for never allowing me to sell myself short ❤️. I’m so lucky to have you as a partner raising our beautiful kids. You have soo many projects and businesses that you are managing and leading yet you have helped me so much in this journey wit our two babies. May life keep blessing you and you continue to thrive. I’m so excited for the world to see what you got coming ?. I love you!! We turning up tonight and next week for your party.”

During the incident, Cardi B allegedly threw a bottle at two sister bartenders at the strip club in Flushing.

At a hearing in Queens Criminal Court back in December 2019, the rapper pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless endangerment and assault against the two bartenders who are being identified online as Baddie Gi and Jade. Another website identified the women as sisters Rachel Wattley and Sarah Wattley.

Cardi B is also being accused of ordering her friends to attack the women.

The popular rapper had reportedly been offered a plea agreement of third-degree assault and turned down the offer. The case seems headed to trial, where, if found guilty, Cardi B could face up to four years in prison.

The court appearance comes right after the rapper’s 29th birthday, when she hosted a dancehall-inspired party and was presented with the gift of a mansion in the Dominican Republic from her husband, Migos star Offset.

The incident from which the case is based occurred at Angels Gentlemen’s Club in Flushing, where Migos was performing. According to The Shade Room, Cardi “told her posse to attack them with bottles, chairs and a hookah smoking device. The 2 women were both hurt, but refused medical attention.”

Initially, Cardi was hit with 14 charges, including two felonies — among them attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury — as well as misdemeanor counts on reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment.

According to NBC New York, there is video footage capturing the “Up” rapper throwing an ice bucket at the Wattleys. She reportedly suspected one of the women of having an affair with Offset, and had previously confronted the sisters in Atlanta.

In a 2019 statement from the sisters’ attorney, Joe Tacopina, they are accusing Cardi B of ordering and committing violent assaults against them. The encounter happened less than a month after Cardi B had been escorted out of a New York Fashion Week event after clashing with fellow rhymer Nicki Minaj.

During her trial period when she was facing the Accra Circuit Court over her nude picture with her seven-year-old son, Poloo disclosed the American rapper came to her rescue.

Not only did she lend her voice to the #FreeAkuapemPoloo advocates, Cardi B supported her with $30,000 to settle her issues.

“Cardi supported me, she gave me $30,000 which I used during my court case and advised me all the time,” she is quoted saying in a recent interview.

Aside the money, she said the WAP composer reached out to her to support her craft and promised to feature her when she retains her balance in the music industry.

“Cardi wants to feature me and encourages me to keep producing music so I can build my potential,” Poloo claimed.

This is corroborated by Cardi’s promotion of her second song featuring AMG Armani she titled Waboka.

The International superstar posted Poloo’s look in the music video on her Instagram story as well as being one of the first persons to listen and endorse the track.

Meanwhile, Akuapem Poloo has taken to her social media platforms to celebrate Cardi B as she marks her birthday.

Akuapem Poloo got the attention she sought to achieve when she recreated the American rapper Cardi B’s look for her music video.

Her action caused Cardi to post her on her international platform with over 111 million followers.

Reacting to the feat, Poloo went on her knees to express gratitude to her spiritual ‘twin sister’, as they call each other.

She revealed she was in utter shock when an associate alerted her to the post, explaining that Cardi had already given her thumps up over her Waboka song featuring AMG Armani.

To Poloo, Cardi being the first person to listen and like her song was enough, as she raises the WAP hitmaker for going the extreme to promote her.

The ‘I Like It’ rapper, 28, and husband Offset, 29, welcomed their second child together, a son, on Saturday, September 4, Cardi announced on Instagram Monday.

Cardi shared the exciting news alongside a photo of her cradling her baby boy in her hospital bed while sitting next to Offset. In the picture, Cardi and Offset looked lovingly down at their son while the ‘WAP’ singer sits underneath a Louis Vuitton blanket.

“9/4/21???,” Cardi captioned the sweet family photo.

“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” the couple said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”

Cardi and Offset are already parents to three-year-old daughter Kulture. Offset is also dad to daughter Kalea, six, and sons Kody, six, and Jordan, 11, from previous relationships.

Cardi first revealed the pregnancy news while performing with Offset and Migos at the BET Awards in June.

According to public records, a judge in Fulton County, Georgia, dismissed the case “without prejudice” on Monday, nearly two months after Cardi, whose given name is Belcalis Almánzar, filed for divorce from her husband of three years, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus.

Ahead of the couple’s original November 4 court date, it seems Cardi has had a change of heart after publicly reconciling with Offset over the past few weeks. The two shared a passionate kiss at the “WAP” rapper’s 28th birthday party earlier this month, where Offset gifted her a $300,000 Rolls-Royce SUV with a special car seat for the couple’s two-year-old daughter, Kulture.

In an Instagram video two weeks later, Cardi claimed the couple was back together. “It’s really hard not to talk to your best friend,” the Grammy winner said.

It seems the couple is giving their love one more try, even if Cardi is “lying” — at least, according to Offset, who shared an Instagram video Sunday of his wife sweeping the floor with a broom while wearing a bathrobe and pink house slippers.

“You need to stop lying on your songs,” Offset tells her. “She be lyin’. She cleans. She gotta clean!” to which Cardi responds, “I’m gonna punch you in the head.”

Offset was referring to Cardi’s No. 1 “WAP” collaboration, where she raps, “I don’t cook, I don’t clean, but let me tell you how I got this ring,” just before Megan Thee Stallion’s verse.

The couple secretly got married in 2017.

In an impromptu Instagram Live update on Saturday night (Oct. 17), the rapper said she left the social media platform because she was frustrated over tweets from followers who were criticising her and harassing Offset.

“A whole bunch of 15-year-olds telling me how to live my life like I’m mothering Ariana Grande or something,” Cardi said in her rant, “like I came from Disney or something.”

Cardi then complained about comments her fans have left about Offset.

“You guys want to be harassing this n—- Bro, if I work things out, why are you going to this n—-‘s Twitter to harass him? That s— don’t make no f—ing sense,” she said.

She also brought up remarks left about her recently being seen smoking a cigarette, clarifying that she was not smoking due to being stressed out about her relationship with Offset.

“I’m bored, and I was drinking on my birthday,” she explained.

It all came up when the 27-year-old rapper took to her official Instagram page to share one of the outfits she wore for a TikTok project.

Cardi B cladded herself in a hot red leather devil costume, with tall horns and long scarlet fingernails.

“Illuminati confirmed,” wrote one of the top comments. “Smh Illuminati horns,” said another.

But Cardi B simply replied saying: “Stop with the Illuminati shit ….It was just costumes for a tiktok video DAMN!”

When some of the followers still kept on attacking her, the Bronx native reiterated her stand insisting that she will rather die broke.

She, however, added that money can’t buy her faith in God.

The young musician isn’t the first music star to be drawn into such conspiracies as Beyonce, Jay Z, Lil Wayne and other high-ranking artistes within the music industry have all been victims.

After his wife filed for divorce, it’s now reported that he has got back to his ex and baby mama Nicole Algarin, also known as Shya L’amour.

According to MTO News, the ‘Ric Flair Drip’ spitter has been spending a lot of time with Shya and their five-year-old daughter.

Further hinting at the exes’ romantic reunion, Shya shared a cryptic post about getting lost “love” back just a few minutes after news broke of Offset and Cardi’s divorce.

“Life changes. You lose love. You lose friends. You lose pieces of yourself that you never imagined would be gone,” read a quote posted on her Instagram Stories.

“And then, without you even realising it, these pieces come back,” the quote continued to read, hinting at positive change in Shya’s life.

“New love enters. Better friends come along. And a stronger, wiser you is staring back in the mirror.”

Around the same time of Cardi’s divorce filing, Shya, who is also a female rapper, additionally released a new song in which she appears to diss the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker.

In the song titled ‘Like Me’, Shya raps that his “ex-b***h wanna fight me.” She has previously accused Cardi of trying to fight her in the past.

According to legal documents first obtained by Hollywood Unlocked, the Bronx rapper filed for dissolution of marriage on Tuesday in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia.

The divorce cites irreconcilable differences and is reportedly contested.

Reporter Adrienne Lawrence shared a screenshot of the case information, with a hearing set for early November.

According to TMZ, Cardi—legal name Belcalis Almánzar—is seeking primary custody of their two-year-old daughter, Kulture, as well as an unspecified amount in child support.

It’s unclear if Cardi will request spousal support. 

People reports that Cardi filed after allegedly discovering that Offset “had been unfaithful yet again.”

As Hollywood Unlocked points out, Cardi seemingly hinted at the split in an Instagram story posted just days ago.

The post featured the quote “Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time,” along with the caption “It’s time.”

News of the divorce filing comes about three years after Cardi and Offset—real name Kiari Cepheus—secretly tied the knot in 2017.

More than a year after the marriage, Cardi announced she and the Migos member had split up amid rumours of infidelity on Offset’s part.

After a brief separation, the divorce was called off, and the couple decided to give their relationship another chance. 

Cardi publicly confirmed that Offset cheated in a 2019 interview with Vogue, and explained why she decided to give him another chance.

“When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me,” Cardi said at the time.

“But it’s real-life shit. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.

“Then, if you get back with them, it’s like, how could you? You let all of us down. People that be in marriages for years, when they say till death do us part, they not talking about little arguments like if you leave the fridge open. That’s including everything.”

In December 2018, Offset seemingly confirmed that he had been unfaithful in a candid Instagram post.

“I was partaking in activity that I shouldn’t have been partaking in, and I apologise,” he wrote at the time.

“You know what I’m saying? For breaking your heart, for breaking our promise, for breaking God’s promise and being a selfish, messed up husband.”

Shortly after their reconciliation, Cardi spoke to People about their relationship.

“My story with him, I hear so many people that it’s the same,” she said. 

“I don’t understand why mine is just such a big deal. People are so quick to be like, ‘You should just date somebody else. It’s like, Honey, I’m not like you — I’m famous. I gotta consider who I’m dating, I gotta make sure people will have me for me. And I have a kid… We are a package. It’s not just Cardi, it’s Cardi and Kulture.”

The two are yet to publicly address the split. Complex has reached out to reps for both Cardi and Offset for comment.

In the previous suit, Cardi is reported to have sought ‘primary physical custody as well as legal custody’ of the couple’s child, Kulture.

The Bronx-born recording artiste is also seeking child support, although TMZ states the exact amount is unclear.

The court documents state that “there are no prospects for a reconciliation and that the relationship is irretrievably broken.”

However, the documents add that Cardi hopes the divorce “will be settled by agreement of the parties”, according to E! News.

After she declared they “grew out of love” and were “not together anymore”, Offset publicly pleaded with her to give him another chance.

In a lengthy post on his Instagram, he wrote: “We’re going through a lot of things right now, a lot of things in the media. I want to apologise to you Cardi. I embarrassed you. I made you go crazy.”

He went on: “I was partaking in activity that I shouldn’t have been partaking in, and I apologise. You know what I’m saying? For breaking your heart, for breaking our promise, for breaking God’s promise and being a selfish, messed up husband.”

He added: “I’m trying to be a better person….. I apologise to you Cardi. I love you.”

The American rapper had to endure pain to have three more piercings in the upper part of her body; two more piercings on her chest and one in her lower lip.

A video she posted on Instagram which captured the process saw her groaning and wailing as the needle was inserted into her body.

She had the support of her husband, Offset who held her hands throughout the painful process.

Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, says he has been in touch with A-list celebrities such as Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, Vybz Kartel and Cardi B in recent times.

According to him, he has already cemented his name in Ghana’s music space, hence the need to focus more on international collaborations with these major pop stars.

He made this assertion in an interview on Hitz FM’s Yaad Settingz show last weekend while talking about his forthcoming album and stars he might feature both home and abroad.

The LiveSpot X Festival registered low numbers when Cardi B landed in Accra to connect with her fans through the concert, which took place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 6, 2019.

What made matters worse was the sudden fiasco where Ghanaian celebrities couldn’t have a meet and greet session with the Grammy-Award winning rapper before her show.

Some artistes such as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Patoranking, Tiwa Savage, and Medikal who were equally billed for the show didn’t show up on stage.

But, the Uber driver hitmaker, reacting to this, said it would have taken a different turn if the organisers booked her.

Taking to social media to face the organisers, she tweeted, “How do you expect a sold out concert without booking the hottest Queen in Ghana? Instead of WENDY SHAY you go book some Shay. Naija never go book Ghana artiste. Ghana wake up!”

The rapper sees similarities between the Ghana vs Nigeria ‘beef’ and what happens in her homeland, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

Ghana and Nigeria have, for ages, fought for bragging rights in many fields including who is the best cooks of jollof, a popular cereal dish that is common to the two countries.

Cardi B’s recent visit to the two countries and subsequent failed ‘meet and greet‘ in Ghana has renewed the rivalry online, eliciting comments from the rapper who says people of the two countries love each other.

“They love each other but fake to be beefing with each other,” Cardi B said during an Instagram live interactive session with fans.

As expected, many internet users from the two countries have joined the conversation, albeit with some unrelated comments.

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker said she loved both Nigeria and Ghana during her visit for the LiveSpot X Festival held on December 7 in Nigeria and December 8 in Ghana.

“I wish I had more time to spend in both countries. I had fun,” Cardi B added.

According to her, she doesn’t go to places uninvited, hence couldn’t fathom why many would bash her for honouring such a one-time event.

Taking to her Instagram page, she posted a chat between her and the organisers of the LiveSpot X Festival where they reached out to her to promote and eventually meet Cardi B.

It read: “Would like to invite you to the meet and greet with Cardi B at Kempinski today at 12pm please.”

Meanwhile, singer Becca on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, said she invited some few people to meet Cardi B, adding that, Akuapem Poloo wasn’t on her list.

Becca, however, said she was happy to see Akuapem Poloo there because “it was good to have a mixture of industry players present.”

The American rapper had a resounding buzz connecting with her fans in these two West-African countries.

Videos from her Instagram stories, after departing from Africa, had her saying she’s missing Nigeria and Ghana after her epic showdown.

In Ghana, she headlined the show at the Accra Sports Stadium with full enthusiasm without allowing the “meet and greet” fiasco with Ghanaian celebrities affect her performance.

Award-winning rapper, Cardi B had an unforgettable time in Africa, and you can tell from her Instagram stories.

The witty rapper shared videos and photos that kept her fans updated with her itinerary in Ghana and Nigeria.

She granted interviews to the press in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial center on Friday. She also met with entertainers from across the country, where she was presented with portraits that had been specially made for her by artists.

In between press interviews and media rounds, the rapper took out time to check out some popular hangouts including a strip club on Friday.

She posted stories of herself dancing with strippers at a club in the city ahead of her performance with music acts like Tiwa Savage and Grammy nominated Burna Boy on Saturday.

Adopting a Nigerian name

She also took a new name.

The American rapper announced on Instagram that she adopted the Nigerian name ‘Chioma’ which means ‘good god’ in Igbo language, popularly spoken in the eastern part of the country.

She posted a video of herself with the caption ‘Chioma B’, a move that thrilled many of her Nigerian fans.

But it wasn’t all fun and parties.

Cardi B shopped for groceries at an upscale supermarket in the city and donated the items to an orphanage.

Hip-hop executive, Brooklyn Johnny, who accompanied her on the trip said the rapper bought as many items as their cars could hold.

“We spent our only free time in Nigeria shopping for children in need. We literally bought as much as the vehicles we had in our convoy could carry… Today was a good day,” he wrote.

Performing in Lagos

Saturday night, Cardi B performed at the first leg of the Livespot X Festival at the Eko Atlantic City in Lagos.

Dressed in green and white, the colors of the Nigerian flag, the rapper performed many of her hit songs including ‘Bodak Yellow’, ‘Get up 10’ and ‘Lick.’

Her performance got a lot of positive comments from fans who took to social media to express their excitement.

After a successful outing in Nigeria, Cardi B arrived in Accra, Ghana on Sunday and was greeted by a horde of people in the city’s airport including local media.

The rapper treated fans to a tour of her gigantic hotel room through her Instagram story, saying she was going to throw a party in it with Ghanaians.
“Oh snap, we are going to turn up today…This room is far too big not to have a party,” she said at the time.

Drama in Ghana

But not everyone was thrilled with her visit. There was a bit of drama after the rapper did not show up for a meet and greet with Ghanaian celebrities and entertainers.

Some of the celebrities including Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay took to social media to express their anger.

Cardi B later apologized saying she was not aware of event.

“I asked my booking agent, ‘Do I have a meet and greet today’ and he said no. So, a meet and greet wasn’t in my contract,” she said in a video clarifying the misunderstanding.

Performing in Ghana

She later performed at the Accra Sports Stadium in the capital city.

Dressed in red, gold and green, the colors of the Ghanaian flag, the American rapper and her dancers kept the crowd singing along to her songs till the end of the performance.

She also hung out with American rapper, TI and his wife, Tiny, who were also at the festival.

Cardi B did not spend a lot of time in Ghana but said she had a good time.

“I was in Ghana for less than 24 hours. Went through a little dilemma but I still had fun,” she wrote on social media.

This comes as a surprise to many because Becca in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM said she told the ‘Press’ musician about Akuapem Poloo, Efia Odo and many celebs who are household names ahead of her LiveSpot X Festival in Accra.

“She [Cardi B] told me she loved Akuapem Poloo so much. I told her about Efia Odo. I spoke about a few people,” Becca told Andy Dosty on Tuesday.

Becca was a key player in the Cardi B ‘Meet-and-Greet’ no show and has told the inside story of what led to the fiasco at the Kempinski hotel.

Being a pivotal celeb, she disclosed that she was given the mandate to first meet Cardi B so it was quite surprising that she isn’t part of Cardi’s following list.

Instead, Cardi B follows Shatta Wale, Efia Odo, Akuapem Poloo and Kwesi Arthur.

Becca sometime ago unfollowed everyone on her Instagram except her husband, Dr Oluwatobi Sanni Daniel.

The shoot, which was photographed by Annie Leibovitz, features Cardi in a red and white, a Michael Kors dress and matching red Jimmy Choo pumps.

The rapper is holding her daughter, Kulture. She is one of four celebrity mothers who posed alongside their children for January’s issue.

While Cardi may look fabulous and fierce on the cover, in her interview with the magazine, she gets candid about struggling with the pros and cons of fame while being a mother and wife.

In the interview, she talks about how being a mom brings her back to why she’s even in the industry in the first place. “Being a mom — how can I say it? Cardi also gets personal about the highs and lows of her marriage to rapper, Offset. “When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me,” Cardi explains.

“But it’s real-life shit. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation. Then, if you get back with them, it’s like, how could you? You let all of us down. People that be in marriages for years, when they say till death do us part, they not talking about little arguments like if you leave the fridge open. That’s including everything,” she said.

Cardi B is the first solo woman to win a Grammy for Best Rap Album. ‘Bodak Yellow,’ her breakout single from 2017, became the first number one hit by a solo female rapper, since Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo Wop (That Thing).’ She is currently working on her second album, which is scheduled for release early 2020.

Becca said the mishap was as a result of the absence of Cardi B’s Manager in Ghana at the time of their visit.

According to her, Cardi’s Manager could not fly from Nigeria with her hence the rapper wasn’t given the needed briefing regarding the now-botched meet-and-greet session.

“Apparently, there was a huge communication gap; I tried to look at the positive side of things though I was wondering what everyone else was wondering. I got to know her [Cardi B’s] manager wasn’t even around to brief her because they came on two separate flights,” she told Andy Dosty.

There was drama at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra last Sunday when some Ghanaian female celebs who were scheduled to meet rapper, Cardi B ahead of her LiveSpot X Festival show, failed in their attempt to do so.

Some of the celebrities who say they were invited by the organisers of the event took to social media to express their anger at being snubbed by the Bodak Yellow act.

Cardi was left with no choice than to render an apology, saying “my promoter didn’t make me aware.”

Becca who was more or less the leader of that celeb delegation has, in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Tuesday, has explained that most of the celebrities formed part of the delegation weren’t invited.

She explained further that as someone who was part of those performing on the night, she was given the special privilege to have a one-on-one session with Cardi B ahead of the show.

She said in order not to look selfish, she decided to take a select few others with her only to realise that they had also come along with other people.

“I only invited Moesha and Efia Odo and some few others; they were not more than six,” she said.

“I didn’t invite Akuapem Poloo and others but I was glad that there was a mixture of people in the entertainment industry who were there,” she added.

According to the duo, who were conversing through a video call on Instagram, they could not comprehend how some people become celebrities in Ghana.

Talking about the female celebrities such as Efia Odo, Rosemond Brown, Lydia Forson among others who were denied access to the rapper, Mr Essien wondered why Ghanaians celebrate anyone who appears on social media “fooling.”

Mr Gyan supported Mr Essien’s submission, saying “if you say anything stupid you can become a celeb.”

The energetic performance from the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker dazzled fans who came in their numbers to see their superstar at the Accra Sports Stadium.

During her performance, Cardi B’s boobs kept falling out slightly from her skimpy outfit. 

The rapper was, however, not perturbed by the wardrobe malfunction and continued with her performance.

Cardi B headlined this year’s LiveSpot X Festival in Ghana and Nigeria organised by LiveSpot 360. She performed in Nigeria on Saturday before heading to Ghana on Sunday, December 8.

The show which was scheduled to start at 7 pm delayed due to several technical hitches, organisers said.

There were also long pauses during performances as a result of these hitches.

After Guru performed, it took over an hour for female rapper, Eno, to mount the stage and thrill audience.

The event also witnessed performances by Kofi Mole, Medikal, Guru, Nigeria’s Sheyi Shay and a host of others.

The American rapper did not only follow the Ghanaian social media freak but also commended her for her role in making her enjoy Ghana.

Readers may recall Adomonline.com reporting that when Akuapem Poloo met Cardi B at the Kempinski Hotel duo took turns to strip publicly.

At that meeting, Poloo also presented some of her honey products as a gift to Cardi B.

That magnanimous gesture appears to have lingered on the memory of the Bodak Yellow artiste who took to her Instagram to call Poloo her “twin sister”.
