The farmer, whose identity remains undisclosed, made the discovery during routine work and promptly alerted local party executives.

Upon inspection, it was revealed that the boxes appeared to contain ballot papers.

One of the boxes, labeled as a parliamentary ballot box, bore the serial number 290401B and was tagged with the polling station Abrim Ahenkro.

The second, a presidential ballot box, had the serial number 529060 and was reportedly assigned to DA/Primary School Duaponko.

The incident has ignited tension in the constituency as stakeholders demand an urgent investigation by the Electoral Commission and relevant authorities.

The discovery raises critical questions about the integrity of the election process in the area, with calls for transparency and accountability growing louder.

The victim was found in a decomposing state with his neck, hand and leg tied together and dumped in a bush.

He was found in a bush of a prayer camp called, Awurade ye Me Guan Hwefo directly opposite the Mankesim Divisional Police Command following a tip-off.

According to reports, he was last seen two weeks ago when some yet-to-be-identified persons hired him at Mankesim in the Central Region.

Suspicions are that the passengers assaulted, tied him up and murdered him just to steal his taxi.

One of the drivers, Kojo Mensah, revealed that prior to his discovery, several attempts were made to find him due to the disability of his hand and leg.

Reports of killings have been on the rise in the region, leaving residents to live in fear and panic.

Meanwhile, some residents of Krofo, hometown of the deceased, expressed sadness and called on the police to beef up security in the Mankesim municipality.

The thigh vendor whose identity has been protected, has been admitted to the hospital after suffering the mishap near Joel Shopping Centre.

According to the state-owned daily The Chronicle, the lady of the night negotiated with a client for a quickie.

However, the pair opted to carry out their deed in the nearby bush. While in the middle of the act, the lady of the night was bitten by the snake.

She was later rushed to Zhombe Mission Hospital, where she was admitted. The thigh vendor is reported to be in stable condition.

The incident was confirmed by the traditional leader, Chief Weight Ndabezinhle Gwesela.

“It is true there was a woman who was bitten by a snake while having sex with a man in the bush. I heard the reports, and I am told she is now recovering at the hospital,” said Chief Gwesela.

The Chief also lamented how many women and young girls in the area have been forced to resort to sex work and other vices to escape the biting hunger affecting the area.

“What is worrying is these girls will be working for as little as a dollar or even a plate of sadza. It is happening as people are facing hunger. So, they will be trying to make quick money thereby risking their lives.

“The situation is bad in Zhombe and it has pushed many girls into prostitution and early marriages. The situation is forcing girls to turn to immorality. As you are aware this is a gold-rich area and the illegal gold panners are now taking advantage to lure the young girls with money.”

Kwabena Offin and his partner, Akosua Julie, engaged in the romp six years ago when the latter approached him for a spiritual transaction.

Their action was brought to light by a seer who revealed the doom they had brought upon themselves and the community as a whole.

They added that this is the first of such incident to rock the town.

In one of the photos, the baby was spotted in between a plant with thorns in a complete bush believed to have little or no human presence.

However, another photo saw an elderly woman basking with euphoria picking the baby from the bush.

She was beside herself with joy as she holds the naked baby who had weeds on the hair.

It was not clear if she is a relative who had found her lost child or just a good Samaritan who chanced on the baby and offered help.

Though the location and details of the mother are not immediately known, the photos have generated mixed reactions.

The men, whose identities are not immediately known, were captured in the company of a young Ghanaian lady who prepared the soup for them.

In the photo, two shirtless men were spotted with one holding the pestle while the other took charge of the mortar.

The third person held his waist and observed keenly what was going on.

While details of the location remain sketchy, the photo has shocked many who believe it could be one of the galamsey prone areas.

Residents of Awutu Ofaakor in the Central region have rescued a two-day-old baby who was dumped in a bush in the area.

According to some residents, who spoke to Adom News, a boy in the process of attending to nature’s call heard the cry of the baby and reported to some residents who hurried to the scene.

The baby, who was wrapped in a cement paper and cloth at the time of rescue, was maggot ridden with bruises all over his body.

Some of the witnesses pointed accusing fingers at a teenager who was pregnant in the area and she was immediately arrested by the Ofaakor police.

However, the police are said to have released her after she denied knowledge of the baby with the defence that she suffered a miscarriage.

The baby, since the rescue, has been bathed by some of the residents and is currently undergoing treatment at a CHPS Compound in the locality with engagements on-going for the social welfare to take custody of the baby.

Kwadwo Duku, believed to be in his late forties, has allegedly shot dead his nephew identified as Kennedy Asi during a bush hunting.

Information gathered by Adom News from an elder of the family, Abusuapanin Nana Yaw Kwakye suggested that the suspect fled to Côte d’Ivoire after committing the act on Friday.

“He called us from Côte D’Ivoire that he mistakenly shot Kennedy during hunting in the bush at night but due to fear for his life, he has left the town,” he narrated.

“We went to the crime scene on Sunday and saw the body in a decomposed state and after police inspection, we buried him at the Akrofro cemetery,” he added.

Meanwhile, Nana Kofi kumi, Akwamuhene of Akrofro said farmers with farms around the crime scene cannot access their lands until some rituals are performed to purify the land and pacify the gods.

The Police are yet to begin investigations to hunt down the suspect.

Art graduate Michelle Foley, 48, has trimmed two of her garden hedges into 12ft tall heads into family members, one like son Brennan, the other like partner, Andrew.

Michelle who saw the need to tidy up her hedge growth as the perfect excuse to take her artistic talent outside, is now eyeing up a third hedge depicting her daughter.

Michelle said: ‘I’ve been making heads for years, I did an art degree at Birmingham City University where all my work revolved around heads.

‘I’m really interested in gardening too so when I had to cut my hedges it only seemed natural that heads came out.

‘Andrew looks uncannily like him and Brennan is perhaps not quite recognisable because the glasses aren’t on yet.

‘I’m making the glasses out of things from a skip largely using odd bits of plastic and I think when they go on you won’t be able to tell them apart.’

Michelle who recently started running her own catering business from a vintage campervan, first took to hedge-head trimming six years ago.

The mother-of-two wants to transform her entire garden in Harborne, Birmingham, which she describes as well-hidden and overgrown into a gallery of recognisable faces.

‘I’ve got a lot of hedges in my garden which I’d love to get my hands on. My daughter who’s a bit disgusted there isn’t one of her yet is going to be next in line.

‘They require attention little and often, a trim every now and then is all that’s needed to maintain their shape.

‘Nobody’s ever really seen them because they’re in a really overgrown part of the garden and nobody’s noticed them until now despite being there for years.’

Her son Brennan Black, 21, who is in his final year at Cardiff University was the first to see himself larger than life before being joined three years later Michelle’s partner Andrew Batterham, 51.

Brennan’s hedge portrait is almost twice the size of his entire body and former Royal Engineer Andrew who is as tall as Brennan in real life has a slightly smaller hedge.
