The “Diamonds” songstress and her boyfriend hosted a rave-themed baby shower in Hollywood on Friday, HipHollywood reports.

The lavish festivities reportedly included several of the couple’s famous friends and celebrity cohorts, but the expectant parents kept the event super private.

Guests were not allowed to record video or snap photos, and were expected to keep their photos in secure pouches when they first showed up.

The rave-themed party saw the guests wearing their brightest neon ensembles, and guests were apparently gifted with souvenir party favors commemorating the event.

The gifts apparently included custom t-shirts that read, “I Went To Rih & Rocky’s Rave Shower And All I Got Was This Amazing Shirt.” Photos of the shirts subsequently surfaced on Twitter.

The news of the fun baby shower comes following a series of controversies that have arisen for the couple since announcing the news of Rihanna’s pregnancy.

Despite this, a source told ET last week there was no question or hesitation that Rihanna would stand by A$AP Rocky.

“When she’s in love with someone, She’ll do anything for them.” the source said.

The 33-year-old rapper had just returned from a holiday in Barbados, where he was joined by pregnant girlfriend Rihanna, when police reportedly took him into custody at the Los Angeles airport.

Rocky’s lawyer, Alan Jackson, is said to have confirmed that the arrest was in relation to a shooting in November 2021.

The rapper, real name Rakim Mayers, had been under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department but this had not been public knowledge, it has been reported.

The incident is said to have taken place on November 6 near Vista Del Mar and Selma Ave at around 10:20pm.

According to NBC News, the victim – who survived the shooting – allegedly told police that Rocky approached him with a gun in the street where the musician was reportedly accompanied by two others.

The man claims Rocky shot at him up to four times and that one of the bullets grazed his left hand.

LAPD are said to have made the arrest with assistance from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team.

The arrest came hours after Rocky had enjoyed a beach holiday with girlfriend Rihanna, 34, in the singer’s native country Barbados.

They are expecting their first child together having announced Rihanna’s pregnancy in February. The We Found Love singer is due to give birth this spring.

However, the couple’s relationship has been under scrutiny in recent days following claims that Rocky had cheated on Rihanna causing them to split.

Rumours mounted on social media that Rocky had been romantically involved with shoe designer Amina Muaddi, but she soon shut down the reports.

In an Instagram post, she wrote: ‘I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile. 

Louis Pisano, who is also a fashion commentator, shook the internet Thursday night when he posted series of tweets, now deleted, alleging that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had split because the rapper cheated on Riri with a Fenty Footwear designer, Amina Muaddi.

He further claimed that this happened at the Paris Fashion Week last month.

The shocking news reverberated across the internet, spreading like wildfire on social media sites like Twitter, where people condemned A$AP for “fumbling” by cheating on the Barbadian billionaire.

Pisano has now decided to retract his allegations.

Posting on Twitter, Pisano apologised for starting the ASAP Rocky cheating rumour which he said is a dumb decision on his part.

“Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received. I’m not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that was started. At the end of the day I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it. So I’d like to apologise to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets.

“I fully accept the consequences of my actions for my tweets and any harm they caused. I have no excuse for it, I’ve been way too wrapped up in Twitter drama and unfortunately leaned into being messy as a brand which is something going forward I’m going to move away from. Again I apologize to them for this unnecessary drama”.

A source close to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky told TMZ that the two are still together and the rumours of a split are false.

The designer, Amina Muaddi, who is accused of dating A$AP, also refuted the “vile” and “malicious” allegations in a statement shared on her social media accounts.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has been spotted with Rocky on a trip to Barbados.
