As someone affected by the accident I find it unbelievable that a police officer will link the accident to sales target. The overtaking of a vehicle has nothing to do with target. How long does it take to be behind a vehicle that someone will risk their life and that of others?
The main issues are inexperienced driving, bad roads, poor vehicle conditions, impatience and bad road designs and total lack of respect for other road users and the police inability to prosecute road traffic offenders.
Let’s call a spade a spade instead of shifting the blame.

I like the caution of the Police. I don’t believe in setting sales targets. I wish drivers will be honest enough to account to vehicle owners on actual sales. There should be some technology employed to ensure this.
