The immediate past Principal of the Technology Solution Centre (TSC) in Goaso, Ing. Justice Emmanuel Dankwah, has appealed to the government to improve infrastructure at the institution to enhance teaching and learning.
Speaking to Adom News during his retirement ceremony, Ing. Dankwah said the school is grappling with inadequate classroom and dormitory facilities due to the increasing student population.
According to him, some programmes, including Building Construction and Electrical Engineering, lack the necessary practical workshops required for effective training of students.

He noted that the absence of staff accommodation also remains a major challenge, affecting teachers’ ability to adequately supervise and care for students.
“The school needs additional infrastructure to meet the growing demands of students and staff and to improve the quality of teaching and learning,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Ahafo Regional Director of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Seth Asare-Bediako, commended Ing. Dankwah for his contribution to the growth of the institution during his tenure.
He revealed that student enrolment at the school had increased significantly under the former principal’s leadership, rising from just four students in 2010 to more than 900 currently.

Mr. Asare-Bediako acknowledged the infrastructure challenges confronting the school but praised Ing. Dankwah for successfully lobbying for a number of development projects aimed at improving academic activities.
He also urged the incoming principal to build on the achievements of his predecessor and work towards further improving standards at the institution.
The TVET Director expressed optimism that with continued support from government and stakeholders, the school would be better positioned to provide quality technical and vocational education to students in the region.
