Late Ghanaian Highlife Musician, Daasebre Gyamena will be buried at Anomabo Ndasimam in the Central Region, both paternal and maternal families have agreed.

There has been a court injunction at a Koforidua High Court over the burial of the late Daasebre Gyamena by his maternal family for months.

Whiles the paternal family believed that Dasebre lived and schooled in Koforidua so must be buried there, his maternal family thought otherwise.

The maternal family argued that, they are the rightful family to perform all burial ceremony as customs demand hence the body should be conveyed to the Central Region.

Because both families could not reach a consensus at home, the maternal family placed an injunction on the burial of the late highlife musician.

In a Koforidua High Court Friday, both families agreed to settle the matter out of court and resolved that,  the maternal family should go ahead to perform the necessary funeral rights at Anomabo Ndasimam in the Central region.

Head of Daasebre Gyamena’s maternal family, Nana Kwaku Apah disclosed that, the family will meet next week Wednesday to fix a date for the final funeral rights.

He assured Daasebre’s paternal family members of their needed protection before,  during and after the funeral rights at Anomabo Ndasimam.
