Bees have attacked some residents of Fetteh Kakraba in the Central Region of Ghana, leaving one person unconscious and others injured.
The victims of the bee sting were said to have been attacked in their various homes.

The Zonal NADMO Coordinator for Gomoa budumburam, Ernest Panin Koomson, who explained the circumstances that led to the attack, said it was caused by a boy who threw stones at the bees in their natural habitat.
He told Adom News’ Kofi Adjei that the stone was thrown by an eleven-year old boy in protest of being prevented from playing football by his colleagues.

According to him, about 30 people were playing football on a nearby park but during the game, the boy approached the coach and asked that he is allowed to take part in the game but the coach prevented him, saying he was too young.

To register his anger, the boy went to the bee hive and threw stones at the bees, resulting in the attack on homes around the football park.
The boy himself fled the scene but about eleven residents who were attacked are injured with one other person going into the state of unconscious in the process.
