There are true prophets and false prophets. To know whether a prophecy is true or not , you must Compare it with the word of God. If you see that what the prophet is saying about you is true, please mend your ways and pray for forgiveness. God is merciful and He will surely forgive a repentant soul. (Psam 51:17). The Bible says in 1st John 5:16 “If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death.”
The second part of the same verse”16″ says “There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that.” This means that you cannot pray for a person who commits the sin that leads to death. There is no chance.
That is very sad and it refers to people who deliberately denounce and reject our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 6:4-8 and 10:26-30) These refer to mature Christians but even unbelievers can commit this sin of appostacy. When the Spirit of God continually convicts you of sin and you remain adamant, a time comes when He will cease to plead with you anymore.
