Rebecca Yaduna who is the wife of the security guard who was allegedly murdered on Saturday by herdsmen at Dukusen in the Asante Akyem North District in the Ashanti region has called on government and appropriate stakeholders to help seek justice for her husband.

The deceased, 35-year-old, David Ntiabak who was on his way to assist his fellow security guards ran into the herdsmen and was later found in a pool of blood.

He was rushed to the Agogo Presbyterian hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

In an interview with Adom News, Rebecca Yaduna said her husband was the only source of livelihood for her and their two kids.

“My husband told me I should cook for him when he left the house and before I knew it, he had been shot. Who will now take care of us since I have no job? There is nothing I can say but to plead for justice to be served on behalf of my husband,” she explained.

Following complaints of alleged atrocities being committed by nomadic herdsmen and the destruction of farms in Agogo in the Ashanti Region and parts of the Eastern Region, a military-police task force known as operation cow leg was launched to fight this menace.

However, about 2 years these herdsmen were sacked from the area, they seem to be a re-emergence of the menace in the area.
