Gospel music group, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, have paid a visit to the Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) as part of activities to mark their 30 years in gospel music ministry.

The group who were at the premises of the media conglomerate on Wednesday said the principal reason for their visit was to thank the group for supporting them over the last three decades.

Daughters, as they are affectionately called in Ghanaian music circles, presented a citation to the MGL.

They also presented an anniversary cake to cement the celebration, noting that the one-year-long celebration will be activity-filled and asked for MGL’s support to make the celebration a success.

As expected, the meeting was filled with doses of some of their songs.

Head of Human Resource for MGL, Nana Elegba, who spoke on behalf of MGL congratulated the trio for consistently blessing Ghanaians and the world with their inspirational music and pledged MGL’s support for the group in celebrating their anniversary.

“We thank you very much for the partnership you’ve had with us for the past 30 years and we pray that the same God who has protected you and seen you through your journey will support you another 30 years and more,” he stated.

Daughters were accompanied by the Executive Head of First Insurance Company, sponsors of the 30th-anniversary celebrations, Mr Steven Abebrese who presented the MGL with a cake and a citation.

Mr Abebrese on behalf of the group also expressed appreciation to the Multimedia Group for their support in their ministry over the years.

Present from MGL’s outfit to receive them were the Chief Operations Officer, Ken Ansah, Chief Human Resource Officer, Rev Nana Elegba, General Manager of Multi TV and Adom brands, Abdulai Awudu, Programme Directors and a host of others.
