A worried in Ngleshie Amanfrom near Kasoa in the Central Region is crying for justice following the suspected killing of her 32-year-old son, Augustus Bruce in a hotel.

Madam Afia Boatemah narrating her ordeal on Adom FMs Morning Show “Dwaso Nsem” Monday said her son Augustus was a former security night worker at Primens Hotel in Amanfrom.

The incident she said happened in September last year when her son had gone for money owed him by his Nigerian manager.

According to her, after Augustus’s disappearance for close to two days, she received a call that her son had been killed and locked in one of the rooms in the hotel.

Madam Afia claimed her son was tied with a rope and was subjected to severe beatings till he died after which he was dumped in the hotel.

She is accusing the hotel manager and some workers of having a hand in her son’s death.

Madam Boatemah explained that her son’s body was later conveyed to the morgue by the police with an assurance that they would investigate the matter.

“The police promised to get me justice so the matter was taken to the court but shockingly, those who were arrested were granted bail,” she said.

A worried Madam Afia is, therefore, pleading with the government to, as a matter of urgency, help arrest the suspects who have been granted bail and ensure that justice is served.
