Some top Ghanaian acts including Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale experienced “mute” reactions from Nigerian fans during their performances in Nigeria at a Zylofon concert just a few days ago.
The crowd in Nigeria could hardly recognise or appreciate the Ghanaian artistes compared to the way Ghanaians cheer Nigerian acts and play their songs during events in Ghana.

Most fans who attended the concert were conversing among themselves while the Ghanaian artistes performed.
The situation has caused rage among Ghanaian music lovers with them calling on the media to stop giving Nigerian music all the attention and airplay.
