What started as a hearty discussion between National Women Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Hannah Loiusa Bissiw and a Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Joyce Zempare turned ‘chaotic’ as the two traded words on Adom TV.
The altercation started over discussions on electoral violence at the just ended by-election at the Ayawaso West Wuogon.
Dr Hanna Bissiw who claimed she was attacked during the recent Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election has called for a stiff punishment for Minister of State in Charge of National Security, Bryan Acheampong for operating outside ‘his mandate’.
Dr Bissiw also accused the New Patriotic Party of training terrorists to attack members of the NDC during the elections.
“You trained criminals, terrorists to attack us during a mere by-election. What was that supposed to mean when you form a committee to do shoddy investigations. No wonder your president is tagged a violent person. I’m not surprised at all. You people [NPP] are criminals and need to be taught a lesson. You govern Ghana with blood and violence,” Dr. Hanna Bissiw fired.
Dr Bissiw’s comments seemed not to have gone so well with Madam Zempare who on the other hand defended the minister because the NDC did worst things while in power, describing the NDC as murderers who attacked NPP members in previous elections.
“You people are murderers; you are liars. You, Hannah Bissiw, is always causing confusion why won’t they attack you? You deserve it because your conduct is appalling,” she said.
